《EVERLASTING LOVE ( KLAUS MIKAELSON ) ONE》The New Deal

Jeremy, Valerie and Tyler are together. Jeremy shoots a can with a crossbow and hits it. "Nice shot!" Valerie sighed "So what's the point of this again?" Tyler spoke "The point is I'm pissed at Caroline and Bonnie dumped your ass and you know how to teach Jeremy to shoot. The point is to get drunk and shoot stuff." He directed that to Jeremy.
"Profound. Alaric finds out I took this he is gonna use it on me." Jeremy reloads the crossbow. "Eh, I'll cover you" Valerie shrugged her shoulders as she aimed her crossbow. She shot an arrow and it landed directed in the centre of one of the beer cans. The liquid spilled out. Jeremy clapped and patter his sisters back. "Well done sis."
Tyler nodded "So what's the deal with that? He is like your guardian now?" Jeremy shrugged "Sort of, yeah. I think he feels responsible for us." Tyler asked "Do you like him?" Jeremy nodded "Yeah. Yeah-I like him." Jeremy aimed the crossbow at the can when Tyler moved in front of him. "You wanna move out of the way?!"
"I'm a hybrid, Gilbert. You can't kill me unless you cut off my head or rip out my heart. And you're not gonna do it with that lame ass crossbow! Go ahead!! Take a shot! Unless you don't think you can hit me."
Jeremy aims the crossbow and shoots at Tyler. Tyler catches the arrow.
Valerie then shoots him successfully hitting him near the heart. "Guess you're just not fast enough."
Jeremy, Valerie and Tyler walk up to the Gilbert house, Tyler waits outside as the two siblings walk in. Jeremy sits down whilst Valerie walks upstairs to have a shower.
As Valerie dries her hair, loud shouts are heard. She looks out the window to see Jeremy stood in the middle of the road in a trance. She races down the stairs and out the door. "Jeremy? What is he doing??"
Suddenly, a car comes whipping around the corner and speeds towards Jeremy. Alaric and Elena run to him.
Valerie sprints towards him knocking him out the way, letting the car knock her over. "Oh my god! Valerie!" Alaric runs towards her "Valerie!" Alaric and Elena rushed over to her, "We need to get her to a hospital right away!"
Panicking, Elena phoned Damon, "Hel-" Damon got cut off my Elena's trembling voice. "Damon! Omg Valerie's hurt, Valerie Omg she's dying, Damon get here now" she hung up straight away and tried to stop the bleeding in some areas. Jeremy got up after being thrown to the floor by Valerie.

"I don't understand." He then saw Valerie on the floor "Omg is she okay?!" Elena who was now crying answered "Who was that on the phone earlier?" Jeremy remembered "It was Klaus!" Elena exclaimed "You were compelled, Jeremy! We've gotta get her inside- help me!!"
Damon then turned up. "what happened?!" He quickly bit his wrist and fed her his blood. He helped carry her inside and placed her on the sofa. Elena who had calmed down a little knowing she would be safe answered "Jeremy got compelled from Klaus to stand in the road as one of his hybrids ran him over, but Valerie ran out first to save him."
Damon, who was good friends with Valerie grew proud of her, knowing he would do the same for his brother.
Waking up after being knocked out unconscious, Valerie began to cough out blood. Not digesting it properly. It had healed her just enough to keep her alive. She still had injurys and a broken arm. "Elena? Elena!" She called from the Sofa. Elena ran over to her hugging her immediately. "Oh my god, Valerie you're okay." She nodded.
She then, screamed out in pain. She clutched her leg trying to distract herself from the pain in her arm, feeling the broken bone from where the car hit her. "Valerie what's wrong?" Valerie pointed to her arm not being able to move it. Elena looked over to see a her arm bent in an odd direction.
Damon saw it, "we need to take you to the hospital" Valerie who hadn't liked the hospital since the car crash with her parents, shook her head immediately. "No, no I'm okay" she stood up clearly all signs of pain on her face. "See, I'm walking perfectly okay." Damon sighed then looked at her apologetically.
He picked her up and sped to the hospital. He stopped around the corner not wanting to be caught. He ran into the entrance and called a nurse. They lead them to a room where they layed her on a bed. Damon who had gotten a call from Bonnie just now about the coffins, needed to go and meet her.
"Hey, will you be okay if I leave?" He looked down at her sadly. She nodded, "you go do your thing Damon, I'll be fine." He smiled at her. "Oh and Damon" he looked at her "thank you" she smiled at him. He nodded at her and left. She sighed and got up, she planned to leave and bandage her arm up herself.

She snuck out of the room successfully. And made a run for the exit. Unluckily, a nurse stopped her, she smiled sympathetically, "I'm sorry but we still need to patch you up" she lead her back to the room and Valerie sighed.
Meanwhile, Tyler is sitting on a tree stump, drinking, Jeremy shows up behind him, aiming at him with a crossbow. "Don't do it, Jeremy." Angered jeremy asks "Why not? You stabbed my back, I stab yours." Tyler stood up "I didn't stab you in the back!"
"Is that why you wanted to hang out? To get me off the vervain?" Tyler sighed "Klaus asked me to. I never thought he would try to kill you." Jeremy glared at him "It's Klaus, Tyler! What did you think was gonna happen? Valerie jumped in front of me, she nearly died! If it wasn't for Damon being there she would be dead, and it would be your fault!"
Tyler who was shocked at this news "He doesn't care about you. All he wants is to get his family back." Jeremy shoots; Tyler catches the arrow. "What the hell?"
"Do you even care that Valerie was on her death bed, Whenever Klaus wants something, someone ends up dead! You think about that next time before you blindly do whatever he says." He turns around and starts to leave.
"Jer! You should get home. Stay inside. Klaus isn't gonna stop until he gets all those coffins back. He is not done with you." Jeremy turned back around and glared one last time before walking back.
Elena opens the door; Klaus stands outside. "Thank you for coming." Klaus enters the house. "I trust you have news of Stefan?"
Elena shook her head no, "I couldn't find him. But I have something else."
In the cellar, Elena opens the door to Rebekah's cell; Rebekah lies on the ground, daggered. "My poor sister. I can't turn my back on her for a moment." Elena makes a deal "You have Rebekah. A deal is a deal."
"The life of my sister in exchange for your brother? Yeah I'd say that's a bargain. Consider him spared, how did he survive again?" Elena sighed remembering the awful event. "Valerie jumped in front of him saving him. She was dying but Damon gave her his blood." Klaus looked up in surprise, he had grown a soft spot for that girl, always being surprised for the things she did.
"You should know I was the one that daggered her. When she wakes she'll come after me." Klaus nodded "I can control Rebekah. Besides I still need your help finding Stefan." Elena lied again "I told you I don't know where he is." Klaus undaggers Rebekah.
"You're lying. Fortunately you have no shortage of loved ones. If I don't find my family the question you should be asking yourself is who's gonna die next! Bonnie? Caroline? Damon? It's only a matter of time before Stefan gives me what I want."
Elena shook her head "He doesn't care about me anymore. You made sure of that. You turned him into a monster. Now he's your problem. And just so you know I'm not the only one that Rebekah wants dead. She knows what you did to your mother. She knows that you killed her. You can let yourself out." Elena then left, leaving Klaus alone with a daggered Rebekah.
---
Back at the Gilberts house Alaric and Elena go up to Jeremy's room. The door is open, and Elena knocks on the doorframe.
"Hey. Can we talk?" Jeremy groaned "Ahh, what did I do now?" Elena sighed "I've been thinking about what you said earlier. About how we should pack up and go..." Jeremy sighed back "Elena, I didn't mean any of that." Elena shook her head "But you were right. You shouldn't have to give up a normal life- just because of me."
Jeremy who is confused at what is going on questuons her "What's going on?" Damon enters the room. "Your sister thinks we should have another one of our talks."
He sits down on the bed at Jeremy's side and starts to compel him. "Here's the thing, Jer. You're gonna go out of town for a while- a long while. You're gonna stay with some nice family friends in Denver, you're gonna be at a new school, you'll meet new girls, living girls. You're going to drink a few beers, take an art class. You do whatever you want."
Alaric joins in "Tell him he's gonna leave Mystic Falls behind and never think twice about it." Damon looks at Elena, who nods in agreement. "You're gonna leave Mystic Falls behind and never think twice about it. You're gonna have a better life, Jeremy."
Elena is crying, as she thinks about how she was going to tell her sister about this.

Dungeon's Path
The only places I have posted the story and allow it to exist are on RoyalRoad, Scribblehub, and my Patreon. So the world ended. Whoopsie? We didn’t even see it coming. Quite literally as it came at us faster than the speed of light. Don’t worry though, it got better. Also, I am not joking about the world ending. Most people say that and mean humans are inconvenienced for some reason. Nope, all matter disintegrated at the atomic scale there for a few moments. Apparently the local universe wasn’t actually stable? Don’t ask me to go into too much detail. It would require both of us to have a few more college degrees than sense, and I at least lack them (both the degrees and the sense). Anyway, the energy/matter/wibbly wobbly strings were at a local minimum and not the universal minimum. Basically, what we took for sea level was actually a nice little mountain lake and when the dam busted so did, well, everything. Now here is where things go a bit off track with what normal meant before. You see magic is real, qi is real, gods are real. Not on old Earth mind you but souls pay little attention to time and space so we dreamed of it. In fact, the closer the shift in reality got to Earth, the closer our dreams got to the new reality. This is basically me tip toeing around the fact that it was a ‘System Apocalypse’. Reality became a video game, I became a dungeon, and this is my story. Doyle Huxley just wanted a normal life but as the above might clue you in on that just isn’t in the cards. He gets to experience a “Path Based System Apocalypse” and some early paths he takes, both literally and figuratively, lead to him becoming a dungeon. The aim is to release chapters once a week on Friday. Cursing will be avoided and no naughty adult action will take place in the story.
