《EVERLASTING LOVE ( KLAUS MIKAELSON ) ONE》Hybrids

"He killed him" Matt spoke after the shock of Tyler's head being snapped wore off. "He's not dead. Klaus's blood will turn him into a vampire." Elena tried to reassure Matt.
"And if Bonnie's successful, he'll live through his transition. Go on, then. Go and fetch your grimoires and enchantments and what-not. I'll hold on to Elena...for safe-keeping." Matt and Bonnie look at Elena in sympathy and start to leave.
Valerie tries to follow them out of the room, but Klaus stops her. "You are not allowed to leave either" Valerie glared at him. "And why not" she spoke with confidence and disgust. "Because you are yet to tell me who you are" Klaus felt as if he had to know her.
"Valerie" Klaus was suprised she had told him. "Valerie...?" Valerie sighed she did not want to tell him she was related to the doppelgänger as he would want to keep her there. So she ignored him. "So that's it just Valerie?" She rolled her eyes at him.
"You don't need to know". Klaus now felt as if her last name was important as she wouldn't tell him. He knew he'd get it out of her either way.
Rebekah looks over to Elena, "So this is the latest doppelgänger. The original one was much prettier" Valerie scoffed at her stupidity. "What?" Rebekah directed her question to Valerie with attitude. "Their doppelgängers they look the same." Klaus let out a small chuckle. "And who would you be?" Rebekah didn't like how she spoke so confidently.
"Enough, Rebekah. Take the wolf boy elsewhere, would you?" Rebekah dragged Tyler out of the room. Klaus looked over to Elena and Valerie, "Just ignore her. Petty little thing."
As they waited for Bonnie and Matt to return Stefan walks into the room. "Stefan" Elena whispered in shock. Stefan ignored Elena and turned to Klaus "Klaus." Klaus turned to Stefan, "Come to save your damsel, mate?"

"I came to ask for your forgiveness. And pledge my loyalty." Valerie looked at Stefan in confusion, surely he was joking. "Well, you broke that pledge once already." Stefan still hadn't looked at Elena yet which upset her.
"Elena means nothing to me anymore. And whatever you ask of me I will do" Elena turned to Stefan with tears forming in her eyes. "Fair enough. Let's drink on it." Klaus points to Dana and Chad, "Kill them. What are you waiting for? Kill them." Elena warns Stefan no.
"No! Stefan, don't. He's not going to hurt me. He already said..." Klaus then slapped Elena so hard that she falls to the floor. Valerie rushes over to her to check if she's okay, as Stefan speeds over to Klaus showing his fangs.
"She means nothing to you? Your lies just keep piling up." Valerie could see where this was going so she cuddled Elena into her side so that she wouldn't get hurt. "Let her go! I'll do whatever you want, you have my word!" Valerie felt guilty for Stefan all he wanted was for the girl he loved to be safe.
"Your word doesn't mean much. I lived by your word all summer, during which time I never had to resort to this..." Valerie didn't understand why Klaus was so against Stefan right now. Klaus compels Stefan, "Stop fighting," Valerie hid Elena so she wouldn't see this, knowing it would break her.
"Don't do this, don't do this." Valerie's heart broke at the sound of her friends voice. "I didn't want to. All I wanted was your allegiance. Now I'm going to have to take it." Stefan tried to resist, but no one can resist an originals compulsion.
"Don't... Don't..." Stefan begged but Klaus ignored him. "You will do exactly as I say when I say it. You will not run, you will not hide, you will simply just obey." Valerie couldn't stand to see Stefan so weak.

"No. Stefan!" Stefan was under Klaus' Compulsion and had no control over what happened next. "Now kill them. Ripper." Stefan sped over to Dana and killed her by draining her blood.
As Stefan was draining Chad Klaus looked proud "It's always nice to see a vampire in his true element. The species has become such a broody lot." Valerie listed mentally all the things she was going to do to him when she got her hands on him and all included some form of torture.
"No. You did this to him." Elena felt disgusted by this monster standing near her. "I invited him to the party, love. He's the one dancing on the table."
Suddenly the door slammed open and Rebekah stormed over to Elena. "Where is it?! Where's my necklace?" Elena looked confused as she interrogated her. "What are you talking about?" Valerie wondered the same thing. "She has my necklace. Look." Rebekah showed Klaus the photo on the phone of Elena wearing her necklace.
"Well, well. More lies." Elena looked frightened. "Where...is it?" Rebekah threatened her. "I don't have it anymore." Valerie could tell she was telling her the truth. But Rebekah thought other wise. "You're lying!" Rebekah went to bite Elena but Valerie took out a knife she had kept in her boot and stabbed her in the shoulder.
Rebekah fell in pain and felt rage for Valerie so she pulled out the knife and went to bite her. Klaus pulls her off her "Knock it off!"
"Make her tell me where it is, Nik!" Valerie couldn't help but think how much of a brat she was. "Where's the necklace, sweetheart? Be honest." Elena told him the truth. "I'm telling the truth. Katherine stole it."
Klaus looked over to Valerie for confirmation.
"Katerina. Of course. Well, that's unfortunate. If we had the necklace it would make things a whole lot easier for your witch, but since we're doing this the hard way, let's put a clock on it, shall we?"
Klaus puts on a timer, and compels Stefan. "Twenty minutes. If Bonnie hasn't found a solution by then, I want you to feed again. Only this time, I want you to feed on Elena. You know you want to."
"No, Klaus! Don't do this to him!" Elena tried but it was no use. "No one leaves. If she tries to run, fracture her spine." Klaus then turns to Valerie and drags her out of the room. He takes off her vervain necklace and compels her to sleep.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
