Anna's P.O.V.
It feels like we were flying forever, and it was so amazing that I didn't realise how close we were to the ground until it was over.
"That was amazing!" I said, feeling a warm feeling inside me. Happiness. Pan didn't answer, he was just staring at me. "What're you looking at?"
"You really haven't felt happiness before have you?"
"There are many emotions that I've never felt before until I came here,"
"Like what?"
I just looked at him, into his deep brown eyes which seemed to sparkle in the moonlight. "Well, I don't really know. Since I've never experienced them before I don't really know if I am experiencing them," I said after a while.
He looked disappointed for some reason. "You should know when you feel them,"
What was that supposed to mean? Did he want me to say that I loved him or something? I'm no expert on love but I'm pretty sure you can't be in love with someone after just one kiss... can you? All of a sudden I felt Pan up close to my face, whispering into my ear.
"How are you doing this?"
"Doing what?" I barely whispered
"Weakening me. For some reason I just can't hurt you, and I feel like I just can't lie to you."
"I don't know. But if you can't hurt me then why do I have this on my neck?" I asked, pointing up to the scar. He stared at it for a while, then ran his hand along it, making it disappear.
"It never hurt you, and you know that..." he said, "But I did it because Hook would know something was up if you escaped me unharmed." That made sense, I guess.

"Pan?-"
"Peter." he interrupted, "please... just call me Peter,"
"Sorry, Peter, but can you please tell me why you need Henry?"
He looked away from me and stared at the ground. "I should've known that if I told you I couldn't lie to you, you'd use it against me,"
"No that's not what I meant!" I said, but he was gone.

It took ages to find my way back to the camp, and even longer to think up a reason as to why I took so long.
"It doesn't take an hour to go to the bathroom!" shouted Regina.
"I just wanted to be alone, I'm sorry!" I shouted back.
"I'm telling you we shouldn't trust her, she's probably one of Pan's illusions," she said, turning to face Emma.
"Illusions?" I asked.
I was just ignored. "Regina how could you say that?! She's just a girl!" shouted Emma.
"Yeah, I'm just a girl," I said quietly, "just a plain, boring, useless girl,"
"No Anna that's not what I meant," said Emma sympathetically. "Trust me, I know how you feel."
"No you don't! None of you do! I'm just like one of the Lost Boys!" I shouted out of the blue, then immediately regretted it.
Hook came close to me and placed his hook under my chin, just enough for it ot to cut me, "What did Pan say to you?"
"Nothing-"
"YES HE DID!" he shouted, making everyone freeze in silence, including me.
"Hook leave her alone, it's not her fault if Pan said anything," said Emma pulling his hook away from my face, then turning to face me, "Emma, if he said anything, don't let it get to you. The last thing you want to do is let him get in your head,"

I didn't reply, and I shrugged her hand off my shoulder. Was all of that really just to mess with me? Even go so far as to kiss me?
"I need to be alone," I said storming off.
"You've just been alone," called Regina from behind me, "ugh, teenagers,"

When I was finally far away from them, I shouted for Peter. "Peter? are you there?"
"Always," I heard from behind me. I turned around to see his smug face grinning at me.
"Look, I didn't mean it like that before, I was just curious,"
"I know. But don't ask again," he said sternly, then his face relaxed again. "So you can't get enough of me, huh? Haven't we just seen each other?"
I laughed, "Yeah right. Everyone back there were arguing about me, I just needed to get away,"
"So you called for me?" he said smugly
"Oh shut up," I laughed, playfully hitting his arm. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him, then his lips collided with mine. When he finally pulled away, I smiled at him. He smiled back, and I suddenly realised how blind I'd been before.
Of course you can fall in love with someone after one kiss.
***
We were sitting under a tree, and his arm was wrapped around my shoulders. The silence was blissful, but I broke it anyway.
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked
"How do you know if it was me or not?" he replied
"Because you told me no one enters Neverland without your permission, and it was your shadow who took me," I stated.
"My shadow takes those who feel lost. It usually only takes boys, which is why I had it drop you on the first ship I saw. It was just a coincidence that the ship so happened to be Hook's"
"So then why did you let me in?" I asked curiously
"Because you seemed... different, I wanted to know more about you,"
I rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. "Peter?"
"Hm?"
"Can I stay with you tonight?"
"We can stay right here, you seem to have gotten comfy," he said, chuckling.
I smiled before slowly drifting off to sleep.

The Prince of the Sand
“Today you have to be the strongest man of all, son. After we deliver you, you will survive, and we will die.” When the Xalya Dungeon is about to fall under the attack of an alliance of savages, the last lord of the steppe entrusts his firstborn with a painful mission: Dashvara has to pass himself off as a member of an enemy clan, as a Shalussi, to exact revenge in a shameful way. Forced to see his people killed or enslaved, this heartbroken but still proud and humorous steppe man will soon be dragged in a surprising adventure that will shake his will and beliefs. This story follows Dashvara as he struggles through foreign lands and discovers that the world is not only made of deserts and horses but also of “civilized” societies with strong bureaucracy and slave-based systems. Author's note: The fantasy setting has some ancient Roman influences. Also, expect a bit of slice-of-life and comedy along Dashvara's philosophical journey. Despite the “gore” tag, violence is not the focus of this story and descriptions are not particularly gruesome. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a reworked and continued translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2016 and 2018.
