Hello everyone! I'm so sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've recently had a death in the family, so I've been struggling to find inspiration for anything. But, I'm back now! So thank you all for being patient and understanding! So without further ado, here's the final chapter of this story! But be sure to check out the epilogue after this for a glimpse into the next book in this series!
"Oh Phoe, they're adorable..."
I stare down at the two adorable pups in the arms of my cousin and her mate. Both are sleeping soundly, much the the new parents relief.
"I know, they're such angels." She coos, the little boy in her arms wrapping his tiny hand around her finger as best as he can. The little boy favors her already, while the other seems to favor his daddy, who's practically beaming right now.
"They're perfect Nixy, you did wonderful." Theo purrs, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"Two little boys, your going to have your hands full that's for sure." Luna Katrina murmurs as she leans against the doorway, Avery on her hip while Alpha Seth pushes the double stroller. "Trust me, I know from experience..."
"I'll take your word for it Luna. Though you got more of a handful with three." Phoe chuckles, and Katrina grins.
"I'll have even more of one soon enough." She murmurs, and my eyes widen in realization.
"Again? Damn Seth, don't you two ever take a break? The twins are barely a year old." My mate says with amusement, his arms wrapping around my own belly.
"Oh please, like you guys can talk." Seth counters, a smug expression on his face.
"True, so how far along are you Luna?"
"A couple of weeks. So no, I don't know what we're having yet. You'll have to wait." She chuckles, her eyes going to me and my pregnant belly.
"Dr. Bell says it can be any day now, so we've already packed the go bags." I say, answering her silent question, and she nods.
"That's good. I really am happy for you guys, especially since it wasn't too long ago that Tyron here was afraid he'd never find his mate."
"Yeah, but I'm not afraid anymore. Just a little nervous." He chuckles as he nuzzles his face against my marked shoulder.

"As cute as you guys are, if you're going to do that then go home and leave us to our pups." Phoe scolds playfully, and I laugh as Tyron helps me off of the couch.
"Alright, fine, so pushy." I tease back as Tyron escorts me out of the living room.
After a few minutes of walking in silence to the car, I turn towards my handsome mate.
"So, you're nervous?"
"Yeah...this is new for me, I'm not sure what to expect." He admits, rubbing a hand on my stomach. I smile, bringing a hand up to cup his cheek, my thumb brushing over the stubble along his jaw.
"It's alright Mon Chou, I'm nervous as well. But everything will be fine, I can feel it." I murmur, and we stop at the car and stare at each other for a brief moment.
"Me too...but I'm also nervous about something else." He mutters, and I tilt my head to side in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
He smiles at me before reaching behind him for something, but when he drops to one knee my heart nearly leaps out of my chest.
"Tyron..." I gasp, my hand going to cover my gaping mouth.
"Darlin', I've be dreaming of this moment since I was a pup...and now I'm expecting one of my own. I had planned on doing this sooner, but truthfully things didn't go exactly as planned. But since when do they ever? We both know that life is always what you expect it to be, it's always an unknown adventure that you find yourself on...and sweetheart, there's no one I'd rather adventure with more than you..."
I feel my eyes tear up as he pulls out a little black box, opening it to reveal a beautiful emerald ring.
"Viola Moreau, would you do me the greatest honor of marrying me?"
The tears welling in my eyes spill down my cheeks, curse my pregnant, hormonal self.
"Of course I will, you handsome wolf." I chuckle, and he beams as he stands up to put the ring on my finger, and I realize something.
"Mon Chou, I'm not sure if the ring will fit...my fingers are a bit swollen..."
"I'm way ahead of you Darlin'. I have a jeweler friend who has talent in magic, he specializes in jewelry for the supernatural...mostly for shifters. He puts a little enchantment on the band so no matter what..." He slides the ring on, and I watch in awe as the metal slightly expands around my finger. "It always fits perfectly."

"Tyron...you really have thought of everything..." I murmur, gazing up at him lovingly.
"Of course Darlin', I want everything to be perfect for you. You are my beautiful mate after all."
"And you are my dear beloved." I say as I pull him down to kiss him, my heart soaring in my chest.

Two days later.
"I'm happy to see that Beta Tyron has finally found his mate, and is starting his family. It's nice to finally meet the young lady who's meant to be his Beta Female."
I smile at the Alpha across the table from me, his mate eyeing me curiously. With Alpha Seth and Luna Katrina sitting beside me, it's really obvious why...considering I'm the only vampire in the room, not to mention heavily pregnant.
"Thank you, and I assure you that he'll be here shortly. He just had to assist Gamma Marcus with something unexpected."
"That's quite alright, I know all too well the unexpected things that come with running a pack." He chuckles.
After a moment, Tyron joins us in the office, looking a bit disheveled.
"I apologize for the delay Alpha Luke, some of the warriors were getting out of hand in training." My beloved explains, sitting down on the other side me.
"It's alright Beta Tyron, like I just told your lovely mate, running a pack isn't always smooth sailing."
"Thank you...and she is quite lovely, isn't she?" He murmurs as he takes my hand in his, pressing a kiss to my cheek.
"Oh, why thank you Beloved." I purr, and his eyes darken a little bit.
"Oi, we're in a meeting you two. Save that for later." Luna Katrina scolds, amused by our antics.
"Of course Luna, it'll definitely be saved for later." I purr, teasing Tyron a little. And I chuckle at his slight scowl, his eyes darkening a little more.
He growls lowly in my head, and I can't help but grin as we finally start our meeting.
He's so much fun to tease.
After about an hour or so of discussion, I suddenly can't focus on it anymore. The pain in my back seems to double, what feels like cramps having me huff in pain.
"Darlin', what's wrong?" Tyron asks worriedly, feeling my hand tighten around his. Everyone quiets down as they turn to me.
"I think...I think the baby's coming." I huff, trying to talk through what is most likely a contraction. Tyron's eyes widen in shock, immediately standing up.
"I figured this was how it was going to happen, come on love." He says, surprisingly calm as he lifts me up princess style in his arms. "Let's get to the pack doctor."
She's beautiful...
I stare down at my baby girl in awe, her little hand grasping around my pinky with a strong grip. She's so tiny...especially in my arms.
Iris. My little flower.
Victor purrs happily as I touch my nose to our daughters, her golden brown eyes gazing up at me in wonder. She's perfect...
"Welcome to the world princess." I murmur softly, and I look up at the sound of a soft sigh to see my beautiful mate gazing at the two of us.
"Aren't you two just adorable." She chuckles softly, sitting up a little in the bed.
"How are you feeling Darlin'?"
"Tired, but good. I'm ready to hold my little girl now." She whispers, and I grin as I bring her our little bundle of joy. Placing her in Viola's arms, I can't help but revel in the sight of the two most precious girls in my life.
"She's even more beautiful than I dreamed she'd be..." Viola sighs, running her hand over the tuft of dark brown curls on our pups head.
"She's absolutely perfect Darlin'..." I agree, kissing the top of her head. She looks up at me with curious eyes, a soft expression on her face.
"So Beloved, is this as good as you dreamed it would be?"
I look down at our sweet little pup, my heart fit to burst at the sight of her.
"No, it's even better."I answer, gently pressing my lips to my mates, a smile on both of our faces.
So much better than I ever dreamed it could be.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
