《Field Trip || DNF》Chapter 10

Since then, all five boys had been hanging out almost everyday of the summer, going to the beach, to some fairs they had found, or just road trips in general.
They were trying to make it the best summer possible before they were bound by lesson plans and staff meetings.
Today was no exception, and they went to a theme park.
"Oh my God, this is so cool, I've never been here before," Karl squealed and Sapnap nodded.
"I went here when I was a kid multiple times, so I pretty much know my way around," Dream bragged, while the others took in the sights of the park.
"So what should we do first?" Sapnap asked, looking at the map he had grabbed at the entrance.
"Ooo, let's go on that red roller coaster," Quackity pointed at the ride on the map.
"Okay, that one's down that path," Dream led them over to the path, and five minutes later they were at the ride.
"Great! It's not busy, come on, let's get in line," they went and got behind three young boys, who were all shouting their excitement.
"Wait, those guys look familiar..." George glanced at Dream, and he nodded, "they do, I wonder-"
"Mr. WasTaken? Mr. NotFound?" Mr. Boo was staring at them, and George waved, "oh so that's who it is."
"You can just call us by our first names, no need for formals outside of school," Dream said and Mr. Boo nodded, "well then you can just call me Ranboo, I'm here with Tubbo and Tommy."
Tubbo and Tommy were obviously bickering about something, not paying attention to them.
"We're here with Sapnap, Karl, and Quackity," Dream gestured to the three. Quackity was looking at the ride, his eyes lit up and wide, while Karl and Sapnap were looking at the map.

"Hey maybe we could join you," Ranboo offered, "if that's okay. We got here twenty minutes ago, so we haven't done much."
"I think that'd be a cool idea," Dream smiled, looking at George, who nodded, "yeah that'd be fun."
Ranboo elbowed Tommy, who turned, "oh I didn't expect to see you guys here."
"We're gonna join them," Ranboo declared, and Tommy shrugged, "sure, whatever you say."
When they finally got to the front, the group of eight got into the ride, since there was just enough space for all of them.
Dream sat beside George, Sapnap sat beside Karl, Tommy and Tubbo sat beside each other, which left Quackity and Ranboo. Quackity had forced Ranboo to sit up front with him to "get the best experience of the ride."
The ride slowly pulled away from the station, gaining speed as the climb a hill, it stop at the top for a few seconds, and then dropped at a very fast speed.
Almost everyone had their arms in the air, and were screaming their fun, while George just clutched onto Dream.
After they got back to the station, and got off the ride, they decided where to go next.
————
"Oh wow it's 5:34pm already," Ranboo was looking at his watch, "we should get going."
"Okay," Tommy replied, linking his arm with Tubbo's, "come on, let's go. Bye!"
The trio waved their goodbyes and Dream and George waved back.
"Can we go the souvenir store?" Karl pointed to the shop and Dream shrugged, "I don't see why not."
As soon as they walked into the store, Karl, Quackity, and George ran off, leaving Sapnap and Dream alone.
"Ooo a panda," Sapnap ran off as well and Dream chuckled.

"Dream," George dragged out his name, "look at this." He held up a weird white blob stuffed animal. It looked very soft and it had a smile on it.
"Aw, that's cute, are you gonna get it?" Dream asked, and George checked the price tag, and his eyes widened, "oh definitely not, it's 40 dollars."
He walked away to go put it back and Dream thought for a moment, and when George walked away from it, Dream walked over and grabbed it, hurrying over to the cash register and purchasing it.
He also grabbed some of the candy from under the counter top so he didn't look suspicious.
After the cashier gave him the bag he walked over to George, who was looking at necklaces that had names on them.
"Yes! I found one," George picked up a necklace with his name on it.
"Oh, that'll look cute on you," Dream commented without thinking. George's face lit up red, "t-thank you."
He quickly walked away to the the cash register, and Dream face-palmed.
Why did I say that?
————
"Look at what I got," Karl held up a hoodie. They were standing at Dream's car, showing iff what they had gotten. Sapnap smiled, "that'll look good on you."
Karl blushed, turning away, "thank you."
Quackity held a bag full of candy in his arms, "I just got candy."
"We can see that," Dream giggled and the others joined in.
"I got a panda plushy," Sapnap held up the stuffed animal. "Ooo, that's cute," Karl poked it.
"George what'd you get?" Sapnap asked the brunette, who shyly held up his necklace.
"They had necklaces with names on them? And you didn't tell me?" Karl pouted, "I'm hurt."
"Sorry," George snickered, "Dream, what'd you get?"
"Oh... um... candy," Dream scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"Ew, who are you? Quackity?" George rolled his eyes playfully and Quackity, with candy in his mouth exclaimed, "there's nothing wrong with being me!"
"Okay, come on, get in the car everyone," Dream unlocked the car.
After everyone was in and buckled up, he began driving. George turned on the radio and soft music began to fill the car.
An hour later, Karl and Sapnap were passed out on each other, Quackity was looking out the window, and George was also sleeping.
Dream quickly glanced at George, he looked so peaceful and adorable while he was asleep.
About after another hour of driving, Dream reached Sapnap's place. He pulled in his driveway, and after stopping the car, he tapped his leg, and he woke up.
Quackity grabbed the panda plush, his candy, and Karl's hoodie, and got out of the car, Sapnap following him.
Sapnap walked around the car, opened Karl's door, and picked up the sleeping man.
He gently shut the door, and waved to Dream who pulled away.
Dream drove to his place, too tired to drive George home.
I'm sure he won't mind staying the night.

Spirit of the Gamer
Waking up in a new world with a odd Gaming power? Not the worst thing... Waking up in a world of hungy ghosts, genocidal reapers, and things not quite covered in manga? Well, that was a little harder to adapt to. Story is OC inserted into pre-canon Bleach. This story will be a massive derail from normal Bleach. Expect random ideas, extremly slow start up, and more focus on characters and trying to be a better person. I don't own Bleach. The who does is Tite Kubo, please support the offical Manga/Anime.

On the Road to Elspar (Book 1)
The year is 1329. The Huntress' War has entered its tenth year, inflaming competing nationalisms and pitting the Confederacy of Caldrein against one of the continent's superpowers, the Tenereian Union. Desperately outnumbered, the Confederacy has relied on the prowess of its famed Caldran mercenaries, with highly-trained and experienced warbands returning from foreign conflicts to the defense of their homeland, and it is on their backs that Caldrein has successfully mounted a valiant defense for a decade. But they are losing, and day by day, with all the grace of a sledgehammer, the vast Tenereian armies take one more bit of Caldran territory, one footstep at a time. Sixteen-year-old Neianne from the village of Caelon has submitted herself to Faulkren Academy, one of the centuries-old institutions established to train the next generation of Caldrein's elite soldiers of fortune, to learn the ways of wars for three years before embarking upon the defense of her country. Her dryad family once hailed from reclusive woodland communes isolated from Caldrein's complicated mainstream society, and her upbringing leaves the shy village girl unprepared to suddenly train alongside other apprentices from backgrounds as low as the dirty slums of Caldrein's cities and as high as the halls of aristocratic power. Yet the war is eroding the norms and traditions that the Caldran people have long considered part of their national mythos, and the tensions within the confederacy that have long simmered under the surface - race, class, community, identity - are slowly but surely dividing its people, and Neianne must grow and discover who she really is, even as the war that she is steadfastly training for comes to its inexorable end... On the Road to Elspar is a fantasy quest - a work of interactive fiction wherein readers get to vote on what happens next at critical junctures - that is the first entry in a story that follows Neianne of Caelon, which first began on July 20, 2016. Originally a three-part in medias res prologue to a larger story titled On the Elsparian Road, it was eventually decided that this section - which covers Neianne's three years at Faulkren Academy - become its own independent story due to length, structural, and accessibility reasons. Despite this being a reader interactive work of fiction, due to logistical and verification concerns, voting will only be counted on its thread on the forum Sufficient Velocity, where this story originally began. As such, the content here on Royal Road serves as a story-only archive. You are, of course, entirely welcome to enjoy On the Road to Elspar as a conventional work of fiction, just as you are welcome to comment, discuss, and provide critique. But if you would like to participate in the voting, then I would be honored to welcome you on Sufficient Velocity. To facilitate accessibility and to ensure the best reading experience, this story-only version of On the Road to Elspar will be updated at a periodic pace, even though further content exists, so as to not overwhelm new readers on Royal Road. If you enjoy this story, wish to binge it, and/or want to participate in voting immediately, you may of course read all additional content via the link provided above.
