"Can you drop me round Luke's?"
"Can't you walk?"
"Mum, it's your fault you booked my car in for a service the same day as Luke leaves. You can at least drop me round his"
"Fine" She agreed as I went outside and got into her car. Today was the day Luke was leaving to go to Brisbane. The recent months had been pretty normal. Nothing much had happened. We all graduated. Mia and Calum were still together and so obviously so were Luke and I.
"Let's go" I said as my mum got into the drivers seat.
"Luke's not going to leave without seeing you, sweetie" She said as we pulled out of the drive. Within five minutes we were outside Luke's house. He was just about to get into the car. He stopped and shut the door as I got out of the car. My mum went inside to see Luke's family.
"I was just going to come see you" He spoke.
"Sorry, I have no car today" He just nodded. "When are you leaving?"
"When I've said goodbye to you"
"Not goodbye, just see you soon"
"Cheesy but I like it"
"I love you, Luke. I really wish you weren't going. I know I shouldn't be selfish and I want you to live your dreams but I'm going to miss you so much"
"I know. I love you too. I shouldn't be selfish either but I wish you were coming with me"
"I'll come visit as much as I can" He nodded. "You better not replace me"
"Not possible"
"Luke, it's time to go" We turned to see Liz and Andy stood by the car. My mum walked over to Luke and hugged him.
"Enjoy Brisbane, sweetie. Don't forget about us here"
"I won't. Thanks for everything, you've been good to me since I was a kid"

"You're practically a son to me, Luke. Especially with you dating my daughter" He smiled and hugged her one last time. "I'll be in the car" She told me. Liz and Andy had already got into their car.
"I really don't want you to go"
"Babe, it'll all work out"
"I know. I just know I'll miss you loads" He hugged me before kissing me. I felt a tear roll down my cheeks.
"Don't cry, you'll set me off"
"Take it as a complement" He chuckled before hugging me again. He release me, keeping his hands on my arms.
"I love you, OK? Don't forget that"
"I love you too" He kissed my forehead.
"I'll see you soon"
"See you soon" I replied as he got into the car. I watched as they drove off. I got into my mum's car and immediately broke down.
"It'll be OK"
"I love him so much"
"I know, sweetie, I know"
