"You alright?" I turned around to see Luke. I nodded. "How come you're out here so early then?"
"Couldn't sleep so thought I'd get some fresh air. What about you?"
"I wondered where you'd gone"
"Cute"
"Shut up"
"Why don't you?" He rolled his eyes and sat down next to me, crossing his legs as I'd also done. I'd decided to sit by the lake behind the house.
"What's on your mind? You look deep in thought"
"Not much. Just nice to have some alone time, reflect on what we've done so far. I could say the same for you though"
"What's on my mind? A lot of stuff"
"Care to share?"
"Not with you"
"And I thought we were friends"
"Ouch, I just go friendzoned" I rolled my eyes. "But seriously, it's stuff I need to talk to the guys about"
"Would I not understand?"
"You would. I just need to think things through and get some advice first"
"Um, OK?"
"Don't question it. I promise I'll explain eventually"
"I believe you promised to buy me ice cream at some point as well"
"It'll happen. I keep my promises"
"You better"
"I will"
"As long as you're not making promises you can't keep" I said before shivering.
"You cold?"
"Little bit"
"Come here" He stretched his legs out as I moved closer and he pulled me into his lap before wrapping his arms around my waist. I rested my head against his chest as I sat sideways on his lap. "I like how close we are now"
"Me too"
"I like doing this" He referred to how we were sat. "And this" He hugged me properly. "And, finally, this" He pulled back before connecting our lips.
"You guys up too?" He pulled away and turned to see Ashton walking out the back door. Luke's grip didn't budge at all. "Wait, were you two kissi-"

"Yes" Luke quickly cut him off. "Only Mia knows because she caught us so shut up"
"OK" He said, smirking, before turning around and going back into the house.
"He's going to tell Mikey and Cal" Luke said.
"And you aren't rushing after him to stop him?" He shrugged.
"I'm not that bothered"
"You told him to shut up"
"Sometimes he listens, most of the time he doesn't" He said before kissing me gently.
"See and you guys didn't believe me" We pulled away again to see Ash stood with Mia, Cal and Michael.
"I'm so confused" Michael said.
"Don't be" Luke said as I stood up and pulled him up too.
"So what's happening?"
"I wish we could explain ourselves" I said.
"It's a go with the flow thing" Luke said.
"Friends with benefits?" Calum questioned.
"Without the sex"
"When did this all happen?"
"Don't leave us alone and make us share a bed. We all know you wanted us to get on"
"Yeah but there's getting on and getting on"
"I'm so happy for you guys" Mia squealed.
"We're not properly together"
"Doesn't matter" Mia said before disappearing into the house.
** Luke's POV
"So" Calum said as I walked into Ashton and Michael's room where they all were minus Mia and Maddie.
"So what?" I asked.
"You and Maddie"
"What about us?"
"You like her?"
"I don't know. She's cool"
"A week ago you loathed her"
"I didn't loathe her. I slightly disliked her"
"Still. A lot's happened in a week"
"It's not like we haven't known her for years"
"But still"
"How'd it start?"
"I was going on about how she used to lead us all on to the point where she almost kissed me one time and then she got pissed and asked if I wanted to kiss her then since I brought it up then she just kissed me"

"You guys have the weirdest relationship"
"Do you think you'll end up together properly?"
"I don't know. I guess we're just getting to know each other still but maybe I'll take her out"
"Awh, Lukey's growing up"
"Shut up"
"Come on, let's go find them other two" Michael said and we followed out of the room and into the kitchen/lounge area where they were. I walked over to Maddie and wrapped an arm around her waist, pecking her lips before taking her drink out of her hand and taking a sip. She hit my arm before taking the cup back.
"This is weird" Calum said and we turned to see them all watching us.
"We're not fucking monkeys in a zoo. Find something else to watch" Maddie said and they looked away. "I don't like them knowing"
"Me neither"
"At least we still get our bedroom to ourselves"
"Definitely" I said before connecting our lips once again.

The apocalypse happened and it was named- The system’s advent
The world either ended or it began when the system came online. People can now be immortal and the laws of reality are intertwined with what the people of earth know as RPG game systems. All of this and yet it is only the begining. What is in store for humanity when everything they thought was just smoke and mirrors turns out to be as real as they are and far more deadly. One man went back in time because of an event that shouldn't be possible to a place he had forgotten. For him it was a chance at redemption for a life he is ashamed of. It was a chance to make things right with the people he couldn't face before it was too late to say sorry. A changed man will attempt to defy logic that he doesn't even realize exists. He tried to be the dashing rogue and failed, he tried for the overbearing shield bearer and was worse than useless, he tried to be the rightous paladin and not even the dark gods would accept him. The only path left was the 'weakest' of them all. Ok so alot of you probably reading this are people who have read my previous works and I can only say 'thank you for your incredible patience' so much before it gets awkward but for those you who don't know this is my third story and no I haven't dropped the other two it's just that tragedy struck when I was writing them and I haven't been able to get my motivation for them back yet so I'm trying this as essentially a jump start to get back into the fight so to speak. I'm really hopefull that I can pull this story off the way I want it to be but only time will tell so here's to hoping, now let's get this show started.

The Waterborne - Blasphemous Series
Gamelit / LITRPG Elements are common in this novel. Some say a single action can't change anything. But what if you add another action? And another one? At one point, you would have to agree that a single action can change a person's life. When a young woman is plagued by a mental illness, only a benevolent god can give her a deal worth taking. Living again in another world where underwater monsters, rebellious factions and ancient artefacts are common place, we will have to see, just how much a single action can change things. Updated M - W - S (During the editing / rewriting process, updates are postponed.) This novel is a part of the Blasphemous Series, which can be read in any order, I recommend new readers start with this novel.

Cosanta
Attie, a young boy who has from a young age not been able to speak or utter much of any sounds, and his exploration of the world using his gift of spiritual sight as the anchor of his power. It will be slow going, but power is granted suddenly and viciously, the story will be centered around a world gradually being exposed to supernatural powers and entities and how these changes affect mankind and individual people. Multiple main characters, some with stories that intertwine and others entirely separate and distinct. Heavily character focused. --- Any critique about anything at all is greatly appreciated.

The Sagas of Mortaholme
There is only one god and his name is Elduin, Dwarves are stories, magic isn’t real and the northern kingdoms are made up of raiders and the unfaithful. For two thousand years this has been the truth for the people of Alturine, the holy southern empire. For two thousand years, tradition has been leeched away to form a vicious cycle where the rich stay rich and the poor beget more poverty. Only now, when the southern realms of men are at their lowest does darkness leak back to stake its claim. Marius was raised in the northernmost reaches of Alturine under the trees of the Black Forest where remnants of the old kingdoms still linger. He never believed the stories of short mountain men, nor the old fables about mages and dragons. Yet the darkness cares little for belief and faith. He watched as wargs tore his mother and sister asunder, as the undead carried his father into their ranks and as his town was put to the torch and drowned in blood. Rage fuelled and vengeful Marius struck out against the architect of his misery only to be outmatched and left for dead.
