David Bowie POV.
"Margo, can you try and call her again please?" I stutter. I had cancelled so many shows, once again I was struggling to function without my little rebel.
Margo raises the phone to her ear. "No answer again David." She sighs.
"Try it again." I instruct her.
"David-" Margo tries.
"Do it." I hiss at Margo.
She puts the phone to her ear again and once again, no answer...
"David, it's been 3 days, give her time to cool down. Anyway, you still need to sort things out with Angie..." Margo mutters calmly.
"Oh yeah, that'll go down well... "Hi honey, I slept with an 18 year old girl who was once a fan." Angie will me for that one."
"You did ?!"
"Good lord Margo..." I breathe angrily. "Yes, we slept together! It was one night... One night she probably regrets..." I say sadly.
"You don't though." Margo smirks to me and I blush. "Do you." She makes it sound like it wasn't even a question.
"No, I don't..." I smile at the memory. "What do I do about Ros then?"
"Write her a letter."
And so I did, I wrote a letter to her everyday, after 2 weeks of letters no no replies I knew it was time to take a trip back to Brixton...

"Mr Bowie, welcome back to the UK and Gatwick airport. Your car is awaiting you outside... Along with the press." The man mutters at the end to me.
"Well that is the sort of welcome I expect when I come home... One hundred or some cameras flashing in my face, asking why I'm here, where my wife and child are..." I start to babble. "But uh - yes. It's lovely to be back for awhile."

As expected, cameras were capturing my face that Ros continued to love and thankfully I had my square glasses covered. "Brixton please." I tell my driver and settle in the seat.
I'm nervous... actually. My heart beats heavily, thoughts running wild with fear.
I tell the driver to head to my street and I look I see if the spare key is under the doormat... Pleasantly surprised, it's not...! With a grin I open the door and take a look inside.
I had never seen the place so bare and
"Ros?" I call, I wait a minute. No answer.
I start walking around the house, still calling for her until a little scrap note catches my eye.
The scrap note was folded and had my name written on the front... It was clearly Ros, I recognised the beautiful squiggles of handwriting from anywhere...!
I unfold it quickly, a little excited and read it once... Twice...
I puzzle of it. The note has
I almost wonder if this is a joke, that she'll jump out and surprise me and say everything's okay. But this was a very long and twisted joke.
She isn't here... So that means...
Without a disguise on, I quickly start walking to her house. As I'm walking, I pass our local pub...
The pub was once again, very quiet. Just the normal punters, some people look up a little surprise I just walk in, that includes Larry.
"Da-" he starts but I stop him.
"Has Ros been in here recently? Last few hours? Days?" I ask worriedly.
"My God, Ros hasn't been in here for quite some weeks! She came to see me when she came back from New York. Cried her eyes out on that stool." He points to her usual seat. "She was devastated to leave, and she regretted leaving so suddenly."

"Then why didn't she call?" I mutter sadly. "Thanks Larry, I'll see you soon." With that I rush out and sprint to her house.
I was desperate, I had to see my darling rebel! She had left me for a month, but that month felt so long and lonely... Full of arguments and wars against Angie...
Breathing heavily, I arrive at her front door. I raise my hand to knock on the door but behind it I hear shouting...
"Just tell me where you're going?! Running off to New York again?!"
"Jesus Christ Kevin! I'm going to the pub!" I hear Ros's voice strain.
I hear a loud slap and Ros yelp loudly. "David Bowie won't save you now!" Kevin shouts at her aggressively.
I jiggle the handle and it finally opens. Kevin is leaning over Ros dangerously. Ros's face, still beautiful, not a scratch on her face but I dare think of where they might be. She was to see me. She smiles, and let's out a huge sigh of happiness.
"Actually, I am here to save her. So if you'd be so kind and get off of her before I call the police." I say calmly but firmly.
"No way..." Kevin whispers. "She's my
"Bet she
Kevin gets off Ros and storms over to me, he grabs my new coat and pushes me to a wall. "Listen mate-"
"Shut up." I tell him. "Get off of me."
"Or what?" Kevin says smugly.
I roll my eyes and sigh annoyed. I look at Kevin and punch him hard around his face. He stumbles back a few feet and looks horrified at me. "Who the hell do you think you are!?" Kevin roars at me.
"David Bowie. The hero, and lover of your I pick crippled Ros off of the floor and carry her out like she was the most precious thing on this earth...
"Kevin will come after us..." She whispers with her eyes closed.
"Shh my darling, I'll keep you safe." I mutter relaxed to her.
I walked her back to my house, more people realised who I was the more I walked down the streets... I didn't care if the paparazzi took a photo of me, I was saving her life again.
****
"David?" She mutters after a sleep.
"My darling, I'm right here." I say desperately and kiss her hand.
"Oh my Brixton Boy..." She smiles with her bright red lipstick.
"Why didn't you ever call me? Or write to me?" I ask calmly.
"I thought that I was in the way... And I thought you needed to move on from me, so I could pretend that everything was alright and I'd marry Kevin... But he got mad when I came home, he found out from El that I had gone to New York for you..." She looks deeply saddened that her told Kevin about where she was.
"Ros-" I linger.
"David I actually have something important to tell you... It's also another reason why I haven't contacted you..." Her voice is shaky, whatever this was she seemed
"What is it?"
She pauses, gulps, which makes me worry more, then drops her mouth slightly. She looks up to me with longing eyes, grabs my hand and let's out a small tear.
