martha interrupted,"come inside, river. I want to talk to you." river nodded his head as he walked inside and looked around,"it doesn't look much different than four years ago, where are your parents?" Martha raised her eyebrows,"oh right. they gave jude and I the house and they downsized. they pay for us to live here." river nodded,"you look beautiful. got any guys crawling on you?" martha laughed,"nah, to men, me having a son is not attractive to men my age." river cocked his head,"it sure is attractive to me." martha laughed again,"you have to say that, Jude is your son!"

martha put jude to bed and made tea for river and herself,"so, how have you been, aside from your record coming out?" river sighed,"I've got a lot on my mind, dear martha. finishing up school has been a big deal for me. it's a big accomplishment." martha nodded her head yes,"been with any girls?" river laughed,"nope, you are the only girl I have ever slept with." martha giggled,"and you have been the only boy I've ever slept with." river let out a sigh,"oh I missed you, mar." martha blushed,"you doing anything tonight?" river puckered his lips,"no ma'am." martha said cheerily,"would you wanna stay tonight?" river contemplated,"mar, it's been four years..." martha smiled,"we can be eighteen again."

river ended up sleeping with martha that night. there were no regrets.
