today was a wednesday.

river's personal favorite day. he was always motivated and excited on wednesdays. he didn't know why it made him so giddy, but it made him feel good so it didn't really matter why. on wednesdays he got to stay after school with his music teacher and had private lessons, which river very much enjoyed.

it was third period when river's best friend, the leader of the bad boys, donny gray, asked him,"hey the guys and I are going downtown tonight. thought you might be interested." he said in a joyful voice,"there will be weed!" river procrastinated,"you know I'm busy, I have lessons and then I have to take care of my siblings afterwards." donny widened his eyes,"come on now riv, you're always free at night. be there, 9 o'clock sharp. oh and bring your skateboard."

the bell rang for lunch before river could say anything. it was final. he was forced to go. river had never taken drugs ever in his lifetime, only because he still had a little innocence left. that was his only reason that he was still sane, his innocence. all of his friends were going to be high tonight at 9 o'clock.
