《Son of the Council》Capture The Flag

I opened my eyes to the real world and took a deep breath. I tried to stand and get out of bed and realised I was the most tired I had been in my whole life. Training for 6 months straight obviously had taken a tole on my energy, but I needed to go and see my friends and tell them about how my father had been training me.
I stumbled down the stairs and reached the dining area of the cabin. My friends were all sat round a table, excitably chatting about capture the flag and how they should play, but then they saw me stumble in. "Percy," Silena asked, "you look terrible, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, just been training for 6 months." The confusion in my friends faces was evident. I sat down and explained what had happened during, what had seemed to me 6 months, but was in fact 8 hours. They saw my body had changed and there was no fat on me, just pure muscle. When they heard I had been in Tartarus for 6 months, they seemed to pity me until I told them that since Tartarus was my father, it felt like home. Eventually, after everyone understood what I was talking about, we heard a conch horn sound that signalled tht it was time to move the flags to their hiding places. We stood up and grinned at each other, thinking of the battle to come.
We walked towards the dining pavilion to collect our flag that one of the Athena campers had weaved, only to be met with smirks of superiority from the other campers. They were sure they had a guaranteed victory, however a few of the older Athena campers weren't so sure, however their pride would not let them admit so. Chiron explained the rules to everyone before sending us each to our own areas of the forest. As I was leaving I saw John being told what to do by Annabeth and, based on what I had been told by her for my first capture the flag, he would be down by the creek. And I knew exactly what I was going to do.
We hid our flag at the top of Zeus' fist and we huddled together to discuss the battle plan. "So, anyone got any cabins they wanna beat in particular?" I asked my friends.
"I wouldn't mind taking on the Aphrodite cabin," said Silena, "they are vain and horrible and I think they would hate being beaten by me."
"Fair enough Silena," I said, "anyone else take whichever cabins they want, but leave the Poseidon and Athena's to me." My friends all nodded in understanding before we all split off into different areas of the forest in preparation for the game.
The conch sounded 3 times, signalling the start of the game. I immediately sprinted forward towards the creek to see John stood alone and swinging his sword like he was trying to slash at an ice cream. His form was completely off and I felt bad even going for him, but then I remembered what sort of Arsehole he was and that was when I started to use my powers gifted to me by Tartarus. I summoned 3 hell hounds, the biggest ones I had ever seen, and told them to circle him and scare him. They understood what I wanted and started to stalk around him, howling and growling until John looked like he was gonna wet himself. That's when I heard the cracking of twigs that indicated a group of people sprinting towards us.

To my surprise, and unbelievable luck, it was the Athena cabin. They came and saw the three hounds surrounding John and the couple that held bows readied their arrows. I immediately sent the hounds back to Tartarus with an apologetic growl telling them they were going to be killed, and then I made my move. With a click of my fingers, a circle of blue hellfire surrounded the group of campers as confusion grew on their faces, slowly it morphed into panic. I stepped towards them as I transformed into my Hellhound form (it's the size of a large truck.) with my armour on. I walked towards them and as they saw me, I snarled and showed off my fangs as they all cowered away. "Oh Johnyyyyy," I shouted over in a sing song voice, "I thought you were brave, try to fight me now. Go on, I'll even let you get close." John just stared at me and collapsed. I walked over and rested a single paw on his chest. He groaned and tried to turn away, but his unconscious form couldn't manage it. "Pathetic."
I looked over at the Athena campers and saw each of them look up at me, my 8 foot tall form terrifying them. One of them threw a spear at me that I just slapped away with my giant paw. A couple of the oldest one plucked up enough courage to charge me with their swords. They tried to pierce my armour, sure that their celestial bronze swords would break through. But they bounced off. I gave a little chuckle that, in my hellhound form, sounded like a mix between a howl and a cough. "Foolish demigods, your swords aren't enough to break through my armour," I snarled at them, "not even your puny parents would be able to get through my armour." I batted them aside with one paw and prepared to pounce at them. Then I spotted a shimmer of air that seemed to be coming towards me. Annabeth. "Is the little daughter of Athena hiding from us, come out and play." I morphed back to my human form and stepped towards her, Hell Raiser appearing in my hand. "I think it's time for a fair fight wouldn't you say, Chase? Take off your childish cap and we can finally have some fun." She took off her cap, her eyes full of fury at what I had done to her brothers and sisters. She lunged at me with her knife and I parried her knife with the flat of my blade pushing back and making her off balance. I exploded forwards with heavy swings aimed at her chest and legs. She was surprised with the strength of my swings and tried to back away, but not before I had landed a few slashes on her torso and thighs. I turned Hell Raiser back into its pen form and ran towards her with my fists clenched. I landed a right hook to her jaw and a kick to her stomach, my reinforced boots from my armour causing a deep gash to appear there. She fell over and tried to crawl away but I stood over her and chuckled. "Poor little daughter of Athena," I spat, "underestimated me did you. Well I can safely say you won't do that again." She looked at me in fear of what I had done as I stepped away and slowly walked to wards the flag.
Only a few campers approached me and I took care of them in seconds. It amazed how we had survived 2 wars in my past life, these campers couldn't even fight me in my 12 and a half year old body. Wait aren't I 13 after spending that time with Dad last night? Either way, I had only used my powers against the Athena cabin but the rest were made short work of with my sword. I hadn't even felt the need to activate any of my other weapons yet. I arrived at the flag to see a half of the Apollo and Ares cabin watching and waiting for someone to appear.

Now, I thought to myself, might be a good time to try out something to scare them. How about a Drakon. And with that I changed into my Drakon form. During my time training with my father, we had discovered my Drakon had taken the form of Malagus, the God of Drakons. He was a faded son of Tartarus and I guess his form had somehow manifested itself in me. So I was basically a super large indestructible Drakon with the powers of a God. Awesome. I charged at the campers and they all screamed as they saw my form. My head was 20 feet long and my vicious fangs were 5ft long each. My incisors had been replaced by needle like fangs that injected poison designed to either cause incredible pain or fade any living being. If they were mortal or immortal, there would be no underworld or reforming in Tartarus. They would simply cease to exist.
The campers fled from the flag in an attempt to escape me. I decided to let them leave, they weren't important but I could get them another day. For now I couldn't wait to see the work my friends had done.
I walked across the creek, flag in hand and heard the sound of a conch signalling the end of the game. I walked over to where Chiron was standing, he was awestruck at our victory but also rushing around and tending to the injured campers. I saw that about 70% of the camp was on the floor. The rest of the camp was starting to help them to the infirmary. John hobbled over from behind a tree, obviously having spent his time hiding from the fight. I walked up to him and laughed. The boy who had caused so much trouble for me in my past life had hidden behind a tree while one cabin defeated the whole camp. He glared at me and charged towards me as soon as I turned my back to walk away. I activated my shield with a tap to my watch and John bounced away as his sword smashed against my shield. He landed in the creek and bits of shrapnel hit him and scraped his face.
I watched him, expecting the water to answer to his anger, and yet the weak splashes he could create stopped before the hit me, almost as if it recognised an old friend. I guess it was me being Pontus' son that made the water stop.
All of a sudden, the few remaining campers and Chiron gasped as a green light appeared above Johns head, signalling he had finally been claimed by Poseidon. "All Hail John Jackson, Son of Poseidon. God of the seas and Earthquakes, the Earth Shaker." They all bowed besides the people in my cabin and me. We all looked at John as his face grew a smirk. "Look at that Percy, my dad is important and powerful. Looks like you should start respecting me now." I merely laughed at him and summoned a particularly large Death Sleep Scorpion (A/N: I will be making up my own monsters sometimes for convenience) and it scuttled towards him. He back away in fear but it stung him in the leg, immediately knocking him out for the next 5 days. I turned around and walked away towards the cabins, my friends following me.
Once we got back, we all sat down on the sofas and cheered at our victory. We had managed to beat an entire camp by ourselves and each of us had single-handedly defeated at least one cabin. We swapped stories about what happens and I was amazed at how easily my friends had beaten the camp, especially Silena. I had always thought of her as more of a pacifist and the first time I had seen her fight in my past life was during the battle of Manhattan. But she told us how she defeated both the Aphrodite and joined Luke in beating half the Hermes cabin. We were all impressed with one another but my friends were all tired. I told them to go to bed as we didn't need to worrying about missing food at the dining pavilion. I headed to my room and sat on my carpet and began talking to my parents. They had watched the battle and were very impressed with how quickly I had perfected the skills I learnt from my good old Papa Tartarus and the man himself had a large smile on his face. I was enjoying talking to them as they asked me what I wanted to do for the next few days and who I wanted to be trained by next. I was about to answer when I heard a knock on the door and Luke entered. "Hey Perce, can I talk to you about, him." Realising he was talking about Kronos I called him in. Luke told me how after he had tried to sleep Kronos had attacked his mind and tried to torture him. With every word he said, my anger grew. My eyes started to glow as I sent Luke away and promised him I would sort Kronos out.
After consulting my parents and finding out how I could destroy Kronos from my room, I began to meditate and focused on the pit to Tartarus. I descended into the pit and saw the ghostly body of Kronos, his power slowly collecting and reforming his body. I transformed into my Drakon form and wrapped my huge body around Kronos, constricting him. The reforming titan's consciousness had enough power to 'wake up' and panic as he saw me look down at him. "Hello Cousin, or is it Half Brother? Either way, this will be the last time we meet. You should have learnt that messing with the wrong people dosent go well for you, but you messed with Luke. My friend. And now you will pay." I bared my fangs and bit down into his torso. The screams of a millennia old being being faded was deafening, his pain was unbearable as my poison was designed to inflict as much torture as possible in the few seconds before the victim ceased to exist. Kronos looked into my angry glowing eyes as he disintegrated into a golden dust. He must have thought he would eventually reform, but then the golden dust started to turn black as ash. He begged me to free him but I didn't let go. I stared at him until he completely disappeared. It was only then that I opened my eyes, stopping my meditation in my room before going to rest, happy that Kronos could not attack my friends ever again.
