《The Fallen Council》XIX

I made my way through The Main HQ's doors and saw a familiar crimson haired female with lapis eyes. She was wearing a light red cloak. She was just a little taller than me.
"Hey ᒲᒷᔑ!" I called out and she turned around to look at me smiling brightly.
"ᔑ⍑, ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ!" Meadow ran to hug me. "It's been so long!" She exclaimed.
"It's definitely been long! How are you?" I smiled to my little sister.
"I'm alright. But that Oneus bitch is really making me boil with anger!" The crimson haired female groaned.
"Yeah..," I muttered.
"Right, right! You should go see ᓭ⍑ᒷリ now!" She smiled and pushed me towards the medical center.
"Alright, alright, I'm going!" I chuckled as I entered the medical center.
I was welcomed by a familiar blonde nurse. She gave me a warm smile as I walked to her.
" ̇/ᒷꖎ, great to see that ᒲᒷᔑ can be actually useful!" Haylie chuckled.
"𝒜𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓉𝓇𝓎𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓈𝒶𝓎 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝐼'𝓂 𝓊𝓈𝑒𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈?" I heard the older Nether-born female say from behind me.
"𝒦𝒾𝓃𝒹𝒶, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒𝓃'𝓉 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓎 𝒹𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝓎𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓁𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓁𝓎!" Haylie smirked speaking The Nether's forgotten language with the original way.
"𝐼 𝓌𝑜𝓊𝓁𝒹 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝓇𝑒𝓂𝒾𝓃𝒹 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓌𝑒 𝓌𝑒𝓇𝑒𝓃'𝓉 𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝒹𝑜 𝒶𝓃𝓎𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒾𝓃 𝒶 𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓅𝓁𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝓂𝑜𝓃𝓉𝒽𝓈 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝓊𝓈 𝓌𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒷𝒾𝓉𝒸𝒽𝑒𝓈!" Meadow exclaimed.
"𝐿𝒶𝓃𝑔𝓊𝒶𝑔𝑒 𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹! 𝒴𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝒾𝓃 𝒶 𝒽𝑜𝓈𝓅𝒾𝓉𝒶𝓁!" Haylie pointed out.
"𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹?! 𝒲𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀?! 𝐼 𝒶𝓂 𝑜𝓁𝒹𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊!" The crimson haired female snapped.
"ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ꖎᒷᔑ↸ ∴ᔑℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑ᒷ∷ ⍑ᔑ||ꖎ╎ᒷ, ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ∷𝙹𝙹ꖌ╎ᒷ ᔑ↸ᒲ╎リ ᒲᒷᔑ↸𝙹∴!" I raised my voice and both of the females froze.
"ᒲ|| ᔑ!¡𝙹ꖎ𝙹⊣╎ᒷᓭ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ᒲᔑ╎リ ∴ᔑℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑ᒷ∷ ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ!" They both exclaimed at the same time bowing their heads.
"ᒲᒷᔑ↸𝙹∴, you go find ᒲᔑ𝙹 tell him to give you a mission," I spoke out with The Main Watchers' seriousness in my voice.
"||ᒷᓭ, ᒲᔑ╎リ ∴ᔑℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑ᒷ∷ ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ!" She nodded to me before turning around and running off.
"⍑ᔑ||ꖎ╎ᒷ, can I go see my mentor?" I faced the blonde nurse.
"𝙹⎓ ᓵ𝙹⚍∷ᓭᒷ!" She nodded and lead me to Sherenidy's bed opening the curtains letting me go to her.
I sat down on the chair next to her bed.
"It's great to see you ̇/ᒷꖎ," She greeted me with a smile and a nod.
"You too ᓭ⍑ᒷリ," I answered smiling to her.
"So, we have a problem called Kira Fang," Sherenidy groaned.
"She became a problem," I sighed.
"Exactly," Sherenidy nodded.
"What do you want me to do?" I asked with a cold tone in my voice.
"⊣ᒷℸ ̣ ᔑ !¡ᒷ∷ᒲ╎ᓭᓭ╎𝙹リ ⎓∷𝙹ᒲ ᔑꖎ↸ᒷリ, ᔑリ↸ ꖌ╎ꖎꖎ ⍑ᒷ∷," The female spoke out with seriousness.
I nodded and stood up.
I made my way through the curtains and nodded to Haylie as I left the medical center. I headed towards Alden's office.
This was the way we worked. If someone becomes a problem, we get rid of them and pretend like they were already dead when we found them. Everyone trusted us. That's all we needed, we only needed them to trust us and everything was alright. But then there were people like Oneus, who wanted to rule over our people! We could have easily killed him, but we didn't want to look suspicious, so we had to pretend like we were weaker than we actually were. We didn't want anything bad to happen to our people. We just wanted to rule them.

Because that's why we exist.
I stopped in front of Alden's office and knocked on the door. It got opened by the brunette Main Watcher, who smirked to me and let me to the room.
"Here to see ᔑꖎ↸ᒷリ?" Kasen tilted his head.
"Mmh, ᓭ⍑ᒷリ sent me here," I nodded.
"Alright then," Kasen nodded and wrote something to his notebook. "You can go see him," He smiled to me.
I quickly thanked him and made my way to another door in the room knocking on it.
"Come on in ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ," The Main Leader's voice called me through the door.
I put my gloved hand on the metallic door handle and opened the door.
The dirty blonde Main Watcher stepped into the room and walked to The Main Leader who was standing in front of one of the numerous bookcases that were in the room.
"I assume that リ╎↸|| sent you here," The raven haired Main Leader tilted his head.
"Yes, she said that it's time to get rid of Kira Fang," The dirty blonde nodded.
"I see and I have to admit that I completely agree with her," The Main Leader spoke out. "We have to get rid of Kira Fang," He finished.
"Do you give me permission to set her free from her pain?" The dirty blonde asked.
"Yes," The Main Leader nodded.
That was all the dirty blonde needed. He quickly bowed before he stormed out of the door and made his way to the prison cells.
He was met by the ruby eyes that were full of tears and pain. The female looked extremely scared.
"What is it now.?" She whispered.
"Kira Fang, your journey in this cruel world has now come to an end," The dirty blonde let the words fell from his mouth as he stepped closer to the prisoner.
Her eyes went wide and she started screaming her lungs out. She tried to get away from the Watcher, who was slowly moving closer to her.
"PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!" She screamed in total panic, she was more scared than she had ever been in her whole short life.
The Watcher stopped right in front of her and slid his cold fingers under her chin. He looked into the ruby eyes one last time.
Then he pressed his lips against the female's letting the poison fell into her mouth letting her have a quick, but painful death.
She took the last breath before felling asleep knowing she wouldn't wake up every again. The dirty blonde was the last person she ever saw, but for some reason she felt safe in his arms.

Her lips formed a smile for the last time in her life. Her eyes slowly closed and everything turned dark. She wasn't afraid of the dark anymore. Her body fell limp on the dirty blonde's arms and she left the world without any fear or regrets.
The dirty blonde stood up and tossed the body to the corner. He snapped his fingers and soon the body was on fire.

He raised his glare and faced a brunette admin. The admin had his arms crossed and he was leaning against the doorframe.
"She was so pathetic," The brunette groaned.
"You're right," The dirty blonde sighed.
"Let's get out of here and you definitely need to take a shower and change your clothes," The brunette smirked as he looked at the dirty blonde, who was covered in blood and poison.
"I guess that your right," The dirty blonde sighed.
The duo made their way out of the room locking the door behind them.
No one had to know.
I glared at the crimson haired female. Xelqua had sent her here, but what was I supposed to do with her? I made eye contact with the raven haired admin next to me. At least she seemed to have a plan.
"We have to go through these books and write down everything useful about The Watchers Academy," The weaponsmith spoke out. "You are from the Original Nether, aren't you?" She continued holding out a book written in The Nether's forgotten language.
"Yep, I am," The crimson haired answered.
"Can you read these books then?" The weaponsmith asked calmly.
"Sure," The another nodded.
"Great, that's going to help us a lot," I smiled to the younger female.
"Mmh," She hummed smiling and took the books.
"Sorry, it's just a bit hard to give you orders right now since we're not exactly finished with The Rookies new rules and such," I apologized.
"Nah, it's alright," She smiled.
I had to admit that it was great to have the old Rookies back. They were really useful and we needed all the help we could possibly get.
My eyes moved to The Lead Admin next to me. Jaylee had been one of Alden's closest friends ever since they had been young. She was really helpful now since Sherenidy wasn't allowed to work. Jaylee was always helping me and Shen if one of us was unconscious. She was the 12th oldest, but everyone treated her like the oldest sister of our 'little' family.
The library's door was opened and Blake walked in with a lavender haired female Watcher, Topaz.
"I found us a Watcher helper," Blake smirked and ruffled the younger's hair.
"Did you bring the Watcher books too?" I gave him an incredulous look.
"No," He admitted mumbling.
"Why did I see that this was coming?" I sighed.
"Alright, I'll go get them!" The red eyed admin exclaimed and stormed out of the room.
I sighed and slammed my head on the table muttering, "This is a mess."
I was sitting on Sahara glaring outside of the window. Soon we would be able to open Sahara and hopefully start making some diamonds too. Also the Sahara street build off was going well, I was no longer struggling with the design ideas.
I ran my hand through my dirty blonde hair and moved my glare to the papers in front of me. We had a meeting coming in a week since we had to announce the new members of The Council. I wasn't still allowed to work in a couple of weeks, says Haylie, but who said I have to listen to her?
"Hey G? You there?" I covered the papers and turned around to look at the direction I heard Mumbo's voice come from.
"Hey Mumbo! What is it?" I smiled to my taller friend.
"Me and Iskall are almost done with the redstone, Sahara is almost done," Mumbo announced as he walked to meeting rooms door.
"That's amazing! How long until we can have the grand opening?" I asked clapping my hands.
"Maybe three or four days. Can you decorate the interior so it would be ready when we have the grand opening?" The taller English man asked running a hand through his hair.
"Mmh, I can do that," I nodded.
"Great! Do you have some kind of plan for the decorations?" Mumbo asked curiously.
"Yep! I think that you and Iskall might also like it!" I smirked.
"I can't wait to see what have you come up with!" Mumbo smiled. "But now I'll go help Iskall before he gets annoyed with waiting," Mumbo sighed and waved before walking away.
I watched as the English man disappeared from my sight and turned around to look outside. I collected my papers and put them away. Then I made my way to the broken window and jumped out of it spreading my elytras right before hitting the ground.
I flied to Sahara's lobby and pulled out a couple of shulker boxes from my inventory. I took some materials and started working on the decorations. I wanted to make the lobby look good.
I had been working for a couple of hours when I got a message. I pulled out my communicator. My heart dropped as I read the message.

Journey West 5000
With her parents murdered and her brother abducted, a trainee Monk of the Gun pursues the one responsible, the Bull Demon King, undefeated Warlord of the Crimson Army.Struggling to track down her enemy while braving the dangers of the wilds, she enlists the help of Sun Wukong, but 500 years under a mountain have taken its toll. Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.
