《The Fallen Council》XIII

I was really nervous as I looked Sherenidy leave the room. I wasn't used to this. It was always someone else of The Mains who was in charge. I didn't mind being in charge, but it made me really nervous. I didn't want to make huge mistakes or make Sherenidy disappointed.
I sighed and moved my glare back to the book on the table. I had to focus.
Xavier spoke out for the first time in a while.
'Look at that! You're still alive!' I joked.
'But in all seriousness. Can you actually help me?' I inquired.
He answered.
'That would help a lot. Thank you Xavier!'
He answered sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes playfully and turned around as I heard a knock on the door. I was about to call the person in before realizing that the doors were still locket because of the spell that had been casted around the building. I walked to the door placing my my hand on the cold door handle. As I opened the door I saw Hypixel standing there with a couple of books in his hands. I let him into the room and he placed the books on the table.
"I explored the room that Xenex called public library and found these books about spells," He said showing me the books he had brought.
"Thank you. That's really useful information for us," I said smiling.
"Yep, is there something else you need me to do?" He asked tilting his head.
"Hmm, not really," I said thinking. Then I remembered something. "I almost forgot!" I exclaimed and quickly sprinted out of the door, Hypixel followed right after me.
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"I need to go get my dual blades! I seriously almost forgot about them!" I sighed.
We made it to the 'Weapons' door quickly. Hypixel looked confused as I opened the door and faced the metal's smell that blew to our faces. I stepped into the room full of weapons and different things that were meant for their fixing. I looked around and quickly found my own weapons.
I laid my eyes on Peacekeeper and Silencer that were laying on the table. I picked them up and examined them. Hypixel stared at them with wide eyes. He seemed amazed.
"Are those Void-weapons?" He whisperer in amaze.
"Yes, they are," I nodded.
"That's actually really cool," Hypixel was still really amazed by the fact that he had just seen real void-weapons.
There was knock on the door and we turned around to see Sherenidy leaning against the doorframe.
"Clad to see that you haven't totally forgotten about your weapons," She smirked.
"I actually had forgotten about them," I admitted with a little embarrassment.
Sherenidy let out a laugh before walking into the room and to one of the walls. There were a lot of weapons on the walls. Sherenidy stopped in front of two really familiar ones. I recognized them as her dual swords, Reaper and Nightcrack. She carefully picked them up and examined them before connecting them to her belt.

"Did all of the Mains have Void-weapons?" Hypixel asked tilting his head.
"Mmh, all of the Mains and a couple of the Leads," Sherenidy answered giving him a smile.
I knew that Jaylee, Dexter, Xenex, Ned and Reed were the only Leads with Void-weapons. I wasn't exactly sure why only they had them, but it didn't really bother me.
"What's the next thing on the list?" Hypixel quickly looking at his watch.
"We should start going through the spell books that you found," I decided and he nodded in agreement.
"I think that there might be some more in our bedrooms. Should I go check through everyone's room?" Sherenidy inquired tilting her head.
It was too weird for me to see her asking me if she should do something. Usually it was me asking from her. I quickly shook it off my mind and tried to focus.
"That is actually a really good idea. I think that you should go do that," I spoke out giving her a smile.
"Alright, I'll be back as soon as I've managed to go through everyone's messy rooms," She sighed dramatically before giving me a smirk and walking away.
I motioned Hypixel to follow me as I started walking towards the office, now having my two dual swords with me. We made it to the room in no time and started going through the books. Some of them were in Galactic, but that wasn't a problem since I could easily read that. Pixel in the other hand couldn't understand Galactic, but he could at least read the books that were in English.
We found a couple of interesting facts that we had to keep in mind. 1. The spell was going to take a lot of energy and might cause some temporary side effects. 2. You had to practice with easier spells before you do a huge spell, otherwise it might fail miserably. 3. You had to know everything possible about the spell and how it's done. 4. If you're using a huge spell, you have to make sure the potions that are required are made perfectly and without any mistakes. 5. You have to know if the spell is black magic spell or not. 6. If it is, you have to prepare yourself with a demonical item. 7. If you have a victim, you have to prepare them too or something horrible might happen.
I looked at the list I had written down. Hypixel was still reading the last book and Sherenidy had just gotten back with a couple of new books. Now she stood behind me reading the list.
"Oh, yeah, the 7th part is something you don't want to miss," She said looking away trying to look innocent.
"Was that the mistake you made when you accidentally summoned ᒷ∷∷𝙹∷?" I smirked to her.
Nowadays it was easier for us to speak and even joke about Error and the whole incident. We had left it in the past.
"Maaaayybe," She gave me a innocent smirk.
"Alright then, I'll keep that in mind," I nodded.

She gave me thumps up before taking a book from the new pile and hopping on the ladder leaning against the bookcase. There was a knock on the door. Sherenidy didn't even raise her glare from the book when she snapped her finger to open the door. I rolled my eyes and then looked at Nelle and Teni, who had just walked in through the door Sherenidy had opened.
"We found some ingredients from one of the stockrooms. There were a lot of them," Teni spoke out putting a box on the table between the two couches.
I stood up from my chair and walked to the box to see what they had gotten.
"I can smell gunpowder all the way from there," Sherenidy muttered from the ladders.
"This is great. There's a lot of things that we'll need," I said smiling.
"Don't we have a room for potions and spells?" I asked moving my glare to the orange haired female.
She nodded. "Yep, next to the 'Watcher magics' one," She answered not raising her glare from the book.
"Alright. Teni, Nelle, can you come with me? And we should take that box too," I spoke out.
They both nodded and Teni picked up the box. I started leading them through the hallway to the right door. It was easy to find since I knew the place so well. I opened the door letting the two others inside the room.
Teni placed the box on an empty table and turned to look around. I let my glare wander through the room analyzing what there was. The room was definitely full of ingredients and even a lot of books.
"Can you two do some researches here?" I asked moving my glare to the other two.
"Yep, we can do that," Teni nodded.
"That's right," Nelle nodded smiling.
I smiled to them before walking out of the room. Looked like Nelle and Teni were starting to get along pretty well, which was amazing. If the admins could become friends with the Watchers, the situation would get a lot better.
I made my way back to the office to help Hypixel and Sherenidy. I opened the door and picked up a book as I made my way to the table. The book was apparently written in Galactic. I took a seat and started reading through the old pages. The book was about old spells and their use, which was actually pretty important information since the spell was many centuries old.
"How can you prepare someone for a spell of they're stuck deep in the void?" Hypixel asked raising his glare from the book.
"That's actually a really good question," I answered with confusion in my voice.
"The void has a really dark energy, which makes the people that are there already prepared for dark spells," Sherenidy spoke out still not raising her glare from the book.
"Ah, I see. It actually makes much more sense now," Hypixel mumble nodding before he continued reading the book.
I moved my glare back to the book too continuing to read it. I wanted to find out as much as I can as fast as I can. I really wanted to free my siblings from the void and continue the life like it used to be before Oneus and his stupid trick.
'Notice what?' I raised my eyebrow.
I focused on the barrier around the world. There was definitely something strange. I stood up and walked to the window to see if there was something strange that's visible.
"Is something wrong?" Sherenidy was now glaring at me. She had raised her guard up.
"There's something weird about the barrier," I spoke out looking into her eyes.
"Someone's trying to break in. Oneuses people, I assume," Sherenidy said with seriousness in her voice.
Hypixel looked a bit confused. Sherenidy turned to give him a node, telling that it was nothing serious. She then turned back to me.
"I'll go check out if they're visible and make sure the barrier is strong enough," She spoke out.
I nodded and watched her open the window. She jumped out of it spreading her dark purple wings just before she hit the ground and flying high up to the sky.
"Woah, I forgot that the Watchers have wings!" Hypixel spoke out amazed.
"In The Council all of The Mains and The Leads have wings, even admins," I mentioned.
"That's seriously cool," Pixel let out an amazed sigh.
"Wings are pretty cool. But there's a small problem with them. If they broke, it's an absolute nightmare. They'll heal, but it's so painful," I grinned as I remember the pain. "But if they get cut off, they won't heal without a really strong spell. Like Teni has lost their wings," I explained.
"That's horrible," Pixel spoke out with wide eyes.
"It definitely is. Luckily one of The Leads can heal wings that have been cut off. She's really good at nursing that's why she's our nurse," I smiled.
"I see, that's good then," Pixel smiled back to me.
Then Sherenidy appeared back from the window. She looked kinda annoyed but also serious.
"Did you find anything?" I asked tilting my head.
"Nothing, except an item," She sighed and pulled out something.
The item was a necklace with a red stone hanging from it.
"Do you know what that is?" Pixel asked.
"Yes, and I also know whose this is," She groaned with discussion in her voice.
I gritted my teeth. I had a bad feeling about this after seeing how she acted about the necklace.
"It's a controlling stone. If you wear this, the owner will have full control of your," She spoke out and crushed the stone with her metallic-hand.
"Who is the owner of that.?" I asked carefully even though I already knew the answer.
"Zanax..."

She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
