《Flame & Frost | Rise of the Guardians Fanfiction》All I've Ever Needed

Say, oh just say forever. Stay, if you stay forever. Hey, we can stay forever young
The pop music blasted to my ears, and I tapped my foot to the beat as the song hit it's chorus. The bluish white-haired boy beside me was bobbing his head along to the song, and I can't help but thought :
This is so normal.
Me and Jack were listening to some songs on my iPod, sitting together in the cosy living room. We shared an earphone, just like the human couples do when they listen to music together. Infront of us was the warmly lit fireplace, and believe me. I'd told Jack to stay away from it, but he didn't make any effort to do so.
He said its fine, considering that I might need more heat due to the cold night breeze in the pole.
Is that categorized in 'gentlemen-ness'?
Anyhow. We were joined by Ben and Breeze, who immediately beamed as soon as they caught the sight of me. Breeze gave me a thumbs up and a "Glad you came out of your room for a change." before sitting on another couch next to me and Jack's.
Our conversation didn't last long as me and Jack were too immersed arguing about which song is better, Radioactive or Clarity. I said Clarity, but Jack had said Radioactive.
Long story short, in the end, Jack chose to let me win. In exchange for his loss, he demanded me to give him a kiss. I agreed to it, what's the wrong in that, anyway?
Now Jack's singing along to the 'Here's To Never Growing Up' song. His deep voice was so low, but I could still hear him sing. It was so beautiful -- the way he could sing. I grinned to Ben and Breeze as they heard Jack sing.
Breeze mouthed, "He can sing!" to me, to which I replied with a proud smile. It was until the song ends after Jack realised he'd sang too loud -- and that the rest of us had been listening.
"Uhm." He blushed slighty, slumping deeper into the couch as I gave him a knowing smile. The next song that played was All I've Ever Needed, the song that gave me chills everytime I listen to it.

I closed my eyes as the song played and all the images of me and Jack together slided through my mind.
"I love you, more than I knew, than I could ever love someone. What you got was so deep, I could barely even breathe, I needed a shelter from the storm.
Baby, you're all... baby, you're all... baby, you're all I've ever needed.
You're all I've ever needed,"
I can't help the smile that crept to my face as Jack whispered the song to my ear, resting his head on my shoulder and playing with my hair. I still had my eyes closed and my mouth smiling as Jack sang the rest of the song to me lowly.
"You're all I've ever needed," Jack finished the song, where I immediately open my eyes. Jack was still leaning his head to my shoulder, his bluish white hair tickling my neck.
"Hey," I nudged at him softly. He raised his head and soon our face was less than an inch away, I could hear him breathing.
I opened my mouth to say something but he cut me off.
"You really are all that I've ever needed. I wouldn't know what to do without you in my life... You've finally gave me a purpose to stay and protect this world. I just want to say--"
I planted my lips on his, pretty sure I got him startled. I wrapped my hand around his neck and pulled him closer. Not less than 3 seconds he had his hand around my waist, and somehow I could feel him smile through the kiss.
**
"Dig in!" North chortled and then the sounds of clattering forks and spoons could be heard. I nudged the fried chicken meat on my plate, not feeling hungry at all.
I propped up my head on my arm, whilst my other hand nudge the rest of the food on my plate. The peas rolled over the chicken meat, and collided with the fries.
I lazily stare at the sparkling grape juice in the glass, and sighed slowly.
Why am I feeling like crap?
Jack kicked my foot under the table, enough to wake me out of my empty train of thoughts. I raised my sight to his face.

He looked confused. He gave me a questioning nod, and I replied with a quick head shake. I sat straighter and picked up the fork, ready to stab the chicken meat.
Yet again, the meat looks unappealing to me. Thinking about me eating the meat, made me nauseous. I could feel a clump raise up in my throat as the nauseous feeling overpowered me.
I drew a sharp gasp and the fork fell onto my late, clattering noisily. Everyone instantly paid attention to me. Bunny, Sandy, Tooth, Cupid, North and the elementors paused at whatever they were doing.
"Sorry," I croaked weakly, and right at that moment I tought my sight was getting blurry and dimmer. Closing my eyes, I blindly recovered my fork that fell on the china plate.
Everyone resumed eating and chatting, paying no mind at my interruption earlier. The nauseous feeling came again and I put down the fork instantly -- but properly. I gripped the glass of sparkling juice and gulped it down, sighing deeply as I placed it back on the table.
It only had gotten worse.
The nauseous feeling came yet again, and this time bringing along a painful headache. I leant back on the dining chair and gripped my head, my thumbs massaging my temples and hoping that it would stop.
"Baby, are you okay?" Jack spoke lowly to my ear, his cold hand placed itself on my arm in worry. I drew a sharp breath as the headache worsened, and I clamped my eyes shut.
My breathing became shallower and faster, and that time I knew I had to leave from the room. I knew what was going to come.
Ignoring Jack, I stood up quickly and ran out of the room without even giving an excuse. The floor made a soft thumping sound as I ran straight to the nearest bathroom.
I gripped the sides of the sink weakly as I threw up violently, emptying my stomach. I finally stopped throwing up when my body realised I had no other contents to bring out, just air and sobs.
"Jade?" I heard Jack run towards the bathroom as I fell on my knees on the floor, coughing.
Jack appeared on the open bathroom door, concern and confusion crossed his feautures. Seeing me, he walked up to me but stopped rigid as he saw what was in the sink.
"Have you been throwing up?" He asked, not leaving his sight out of the vomit inside the sink.
"Ugh. Flush it out. Its just a tummy trouble." I waved him out.
"Are you sick?" His voice got more urgent. I shook my head as I started to get up and feel a bit wobbly -- and sick.
"YOU FUCKING THREW UP BLOOD!" He gripped my arms and helped me up hurriedly, giving me a super worried and an I-need-an-explanation look.
"No, I did no--" I froze and stared at the big red blotches mixed with my vomit. The blood was more in amount than other contents.I felt sick to my stomach again. Worry surged through me as I thought out loud :
"What's wrong with me?" I said shakily.
"Tell me you're feeling okay," Jack said rigidly as he turned on the sink tap to let the water flow. As the vomit was drained down, Jack bellowed for North, loud.
"NORTH!" Jack bellowed again, this time, shakily. His shaky hands wrapped around me as I suddenly coughed violently to his chest.
"What's wrong?" I heard North ask worriedly. I could hear Jack's heartbeat pulse wildly, and he drew a shaky breath.
"Jade, she's--" Jack pulled me away from him but stoped talking as my case was self-explanatory. More bood was matted on his chest in blotches.
My blood.
I realise now that surrounded the bathroom was not only me, Jack and North. But also the dinner attendants.
They all froze simultaneously as they saw the blood on Jack's sweater. I wiped my mouth, and evidently, blood smeared on my hand.
"Ohh... no baby, no..." Jack gripped my hand that was smeared with blood. He was shaking.
"NO!"
