Jade POV

"Is there any way, any way at all to not make me and Jack a pair?" I asked frustratedly, hoping that Tooth will say yes.

"When the Moon determined your fate, you can't change it," She looked at me meaningfully. I groaned and pulled my hair in stress. I just don't want to have this feeling anymore! Its annoying! When Jack hugged me I felt nothing but happiness, and I wanted to kiss him so bad, that made me feel so... intimidating.

I'd come to Tooth for help, and I was glad she's not as busy as I think she is. She said she will be alot busier after Christmas; Where children eat candy canes and cake too much they'll lose a tooth. I came to her specifically because she's a girl, and she'll definitely understand me more than North, Bunny or Sandman. Or Jack. Certainly not Jack!

I can't keep him out of my head since we touched. I have no idea what's he's doing to me and I want him to stop it immediately before I go crazy. But I just don't want to face him anymore... He's too dazzling and attractive for my liking. The feeling I have everytime I look at him was nothing like I've ever felt before...

I somehow felt... humanly.

The way he held me... I've enough self control to hold myself from burning him... It was a bad idea for me to touch him... because if I do, I couldn't stop.

"Please Man in Moon, I don't want to feel this," I pleaded absently, burrying my face in my arms. Tooth patted my head softly. "What you're feeling towards Jack... Is rare among us. North, Bunny, Sandy and myself never felt it." I grunted.

"Why? Why me?" I retorted childishly.

I lifted my face and found myself face to face with a most serious looking Tooth.

"You never knew why you're like," She gestured my body. "This all these time, do you? Jade, Jack is meant for you; And you are meant for him! Jack is the reason you're still here!" She concluded.

"But we're so..." I struggled for words.

"Different." I say at last.

"Exactly." Tooth smiled at me.

I scoffed and buried my face in my arms again.

"I don't want to fall inlove with Jack," I argued yet again.

"What?" A sexy yet familiar voice barged from behind me;

I turned around and found myself face to face with Jack Frost and Bunnymund. Jack had his mouth in a wide 'O' but at the same time he looked... damn. He still looked attractive.

I got lost for words and then I realized the whole room got awkwardly silent. Tooth cleared her throat and excused herself silently, going out of the room with Bunny. I still can't move my gaze from his pale face even after Tooth and Bunny were gone. So we stayed like that, looking at each other for seconds... minutes...

Until he finally moved. He shook his head and his bluish white hair shook along lusciously. I want to touch that hair...

I mentally punched myself. The feeling came again. I forced my eyes to not look at him, and forcefully turned half of my body away from his sight to keep my eyes from contacting his beautiful ones; And make me bedazzled again.

"You fell inlove with me?" He said atlast. Somehow I sensed enthusiasm in his voice. What is he doing to me?!

"No." I lied, trying to keep my voice straight. He rushed to Tooth's seat and his action made us sit opposite from each other. Ironically, I had to look down to keep myself from drooling due to his attractiveness. He dropped his staff to the floor -which I don't know if its accidental or not.- and he suddenly grabbed my face in his hands, forcing me to look at his face.

I had to stop my flame from the inside to avoid Jack getting hurt.

"Why won't you look at me?! Why did you lie to me?! Why do you have to lie to your future mate?!" He shouted at my face. I forced his hand off my face and shouted back.

"I never lied to you!" I growled loudly. Jack scoffed and smiled painfully.

"You lied to me alright," He grabbed my shoulders and jerked my body towards him. Our body had no distance after that. We were so close I could feel his breath fanning my face. "You lied to me about your memories! Now you lied to me about your feelings towards me!" He growled back, tightening the hold on my shoulders.

His blue eyes were fierce, and I had no words to argue back at him. So I tried to challenge him.

"You know nothing about my past," I tried to make my voice deadly. "NOTHING!" I yelled, making him wince. I smirked mentally.

He suddenly pushed me to the room's wall, locking me there. He then neared his face to mine, and his breath was sweet and minty.

"You were Dunbroch's princess. You had a family. King Magnus, Queen Aurabella and Prince Raoul. You finished your archery training with you brother on your father's birthday. You died saving your brother when bandits invaded the castle and set in on fire, and you were sixteen that time," He drew a sharp breath. "You were royalty." He emphasized, as he looked into my eyes, paralyzing my heartbeat for a second.

Wow. Pass.

My breath got faster and Jack realised that; So he let me loose but not breaking contact with my skin. I crumpled to the floor, burying my face in my hands.

I was supposed to die... And I died in a terrible and horrific way.

Jack knelt infront of me and cupped my right cheek as a tear fell down from my eyes.

Ever since I realised the truth, I couldn't forget it. I couldn't imagine how the rest of my family lived through my death. How they accept the fact that I was burnt to ashes...

"I died..."

I repeated over and over again. Jack moved his thumb so that he was carressing my cheek.

Hell, he's doing it again!

"Stop!" I screeched at Jack and slapped his hand away from my face. I then relived the fire inside of me.

"Jade," He whispered, I could see the pain on his face. He shuffled closer to me, but I knew how he's hurting right now. And I think he deserved this for no reason.

I'm masochistic.

I avoided him, now my tears boil everytime I drop one. I'm too hot for Jack Frost; He doesn't deserve to live with someone who's hurting him.

"Stay away from me!" I screeched again, he might think of me as his hater, but I'm doing this for his good.

"I can't!" He argued back, and I could see his lips quiver.

Wait. Is he about to cry?

"I can't stay away from you. You've grown on me," he whispered, looking into my eyes.

"Stay. Away. Its for the best," I stated shakily, I just don't want to hurt him. He's a Guardian and I'm... nothing. "And we've only met for a day, one day, Jack Frost. It shouldn't be this easy," One tear fell from my eye and I could hear the sizzling sound as it boiled and evaporated.

"Like I said, I can't stay away from you!" He growled at me.

"I fell inlove with you, I can't bear a second without you!" He hissed truthfully.

We looked at each other blankly. Then I stood up and went to the room's window, not bothering to look down at the height. Jack was halfway from me when I was ready to dive down and looked at me meaningfully.

"I can." I lied and jumped to the cold air.

Sooo . I'd updated pretty fast for today :D Good for me , and I really like this chapter , to be honest with you ( Yeah , you ! ) .

Aaand to be honest , I cried when I wrote this chapter aaaaand I thought the readers would too ! I hope you cried ! ( LOL )

I don't know if this chapter is short or long because I'm using my phone. And when I write on my phone I can't apply italic and bold to my the words , sadly . Explains why there are no styles in my book .
