"Is this... a scar?"
You took a closer look at your right arm, no longer wrapped in bandages just like the rest of your body. It was strange. The rest of your injuries healed without much issue for the past week, but for some reason, this wasn't the case for your right forearm.
"(Y/N)?" Killua poked his head from behind the doorway. "How're your injuries?"
You turned to the door, watching as Killua curiously approached. "I'm all healed, thankfully, but..." you furrow your brows at your right arm. Now that you think about it, this scar looks oddly familiar...
Killua follows your gaze to your arm, narrowing his eyes at it. "Can I?" He looks up, waiting for your nod of approval before holding your arm for him to inspect. "These marks..." he mumbles, running a finger down your forearm to trace the jagged scar.
Though it wasn't exactly the same, the scar looks very similar to the one Sanguis has.
"It's fine, really. I don't mind!" You managed a smile and a thumbs up.
Killua raises a brow. "You sure?"
"Yeah!" You chuckle, pulling your arm away and running towards the door. "Anyways, let's go meet up with the others!"
Killua watches you, before sighing and shaking his head. "Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" He walks over, holding your hand and interlacing his fingers with yours.
"Yeah, yeah." You smiled, gripping his hand back as you leave the room with him.
' I guess my time with my brother won't ever be forgotten.'

Alluka scans her eyes across the city streets for the millionth time. "When are Onii-chan and Onee-chan coming?" she sighs, slumping her shoulders in impatience.
Ryu sighs. "They should be on their way by now," he replies, though he discreetly searched the streets the same way Alluka did.
"Okay..."
Gon chuckles. "It's okay, Alluka! I'm starting to get impatient, too!" he cheers. As he looked ahead, though, he spotted the figures of two very familiar people. "Ah! There they are!" His eyes shone as he pointed in the distance.

Ryu squints his eyes, having difficulty finding where the both of you were from the crowd of people walking. "Uh... where...?"
"Over there!" Gon stretches his pointed finger even more. Eventually, he started waving his hand high in the air. "(Y/N)! Killua! Over here!!"
It took Ryu a while, but eventually, he spotted you and Killua so far back, looking like blurred dots that barely resembled a human form. He raises a brow, wondering how Gon was able to distinguish the both of you from such a far distance.
'Either my eyesight is going bad, or this boy isn't human.' Ryu thought.
Gon started running through the crowd, followed by an excited Alluka. "Hey, wait up!" Ryu called, chasing after both of them.
Eventually, you and Killua came into clearer view as they got closer. "Killua! (Y/N)!" The spiky-haired boy continued waving high in the air.
Killua waved back, sweatdropping at his enthusiasm. "How did you manage to spot us back there?" He asks, before dropping his hand and narrowing his eyes. "Actually, never mind."
"ONEE-CHAN!!!" Alluka zoomed past Gon, going straight for you and enveloping you in a big hug.
You nearly fell backward from the impact, much to Killua's horror. Thankfully, you managed to regain balance and return the hug. "Hi, Alluka! It's rare for you to hug me first!"
Alluka nods vigorously. "You're more important right now than Onii-chan!"
"Huh?! What's that supposed to mean?!" Killua whirled around to face his sister in disbelief.
You smiled sheepishly, mouthing a brief "Sorry!" to him as you pat Alluka on the back.
"Too bad, Killua. You've been replaced," Ryu teases, a small smirk tugging at his lips.
An irk mark pops out of Killua's forehead as he takes a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself. "Anyways–" he subtly glares at Ryu. "How's the situation with Sanguis?"
"Heh," Ryu snickers. "Rotting away in prison. As he should."
Your eyes widen at the mention of Sanguis. "Where?" you ask, pulling away from Alluka to approach the Hunter.

Ryu glances at at you, pausing in hesitation. "...A real secluded place called Trick Tower."
Gon and Killua share a look.
"Why? Do you wanna see him?" Ryu asks, frowning at the thought. "It's... a bit difficult, but I can arrange for a meeting," he continues, lips pursed into a thin line.
"Oh, uh..." You avert your eyes. 'Do I wanna see him...?'
You look to Killua, who shot you a worried glance.
"It's fine if you don't want to. It's better if you don't, actually," Ryu says, though he mumbled the last part.
"No, you're right." You smile. "I don't think I should see him right now..." you say, subconsciously touching the scar on your right arm.
Though you didn't notice, everyone else quietly sighed in relief.
"Though, if there is someone I wanna see..." you continue, putting on a more serious face. "I want to see Senka. I mean her grave... at least..." you mumble, looking down at your feet.
The chatter of the numerous people around grew louder in your ears as you watch Ryu fall silent. He looks down, the ghost of a bitter smile resting on his face. "I'd like you to, but..." he sighs softly. "Not this time, (Y/N). Sorry."
Your eyes widen in panic. "No, no, it's completely understandable!" you exclaim, frantically waving your hands in front of you. "Sorry to ask you about it all of a sudden!"
"It's fine. Stop apologizing already. It's getting old." Ryu chuckles, patting you briefly on the head before walking past to where the others are. "Anyways, if there's nothing else to take care of, this is where I take my leave," he continues, shoving his hands inside the pockets of his hoodie.
"Eh? Already?" Alluka looks up at Ryu with wide eyes. Everyone else wore the same expression as they look at him expectantly.
"Yeah." Ryu walks up to Alluka, giving her a generous pat on the head. "I'll miss you too, don't worry."
Alluka pouts as tears pool in her eyes.
"Wh- Don't cry!"
"Thank you for everything, Ryu!" Alluka exclaims, wiping away her tears with her sleeve. "I'm sure I'll see you again, so I won't cry!"
Ryu sighs. "You almost did, though..." he mumbles.
After you all say your goodbyes, Ryu turns his heel, about to walk in the opposite direction. "Oh, and (Y/N)?"
You look up at him, seeing a soft smile resting on his face.
"When it's time, I'll see you in Meteor City," he says, waving his hand briefly and continuing on his way.
Your eyes widened, but by the time you processed what he said, he's already walked a good distance.
"(Y/N)," Killua calls from behind, taking your hand in his. "Let's go?"
You face him with a smile, gripping his hand back. "Okay!"
"Huh? You guys are holding hands?" Gon blinked in confusion, pointing to your interlaced fingers.
Killua narrows his eyes at him. "Yeah, and so?"
"Wait, wait... does this mean...?" Gon looked up in deep thought, drowning in his own confusion as Alluka giggles.
"Finally!" she exclaims, running to your side and jumping around in excitement.
"F-Finally...?" you gaze at her in shock, looking to Killua for answers. However, he wouldn't even make eye contact with you.
"A-Anyways..." Killua clears his throat. "Gon, mind if we visit your place? It's been a while since I saw Mito-San."
"Oh!" Gon immediately perked up at the invitation, completely forgetting his confusion from earlier. "Of course! I'll send Mito-San a letter to let her know!"
"Ooh, who's Mito-San?" Alluka leans over in curiosity.
Gon laughs. "You'll see! Let's get going!" he yells, racing ahead of the group. Alluka follows closely behind.
Killua sighs hopelessly as the two ran, yet you caught the corners of his lips tugging upwards in a smile. You chuckle, pulling yourself closer to him.
This time around, you'll be the one to follow Killua in his adventures.
