'Me first?'
You curiously made your way towards the glass. After pausing right in front of it, you glanced at Wing for affirmation. He smiles warmly, sensing your slight hesitation and giving you an encouraging nod as well.
Nodding back, you look towards the glass once more with a slight frown. The water in it was completely still, along with the leaf on top, almost as if it was waiting for you to do something.
Taking a silent breath, you positioned your hands around the glass. 'Whatever happens to it will reveal your Nen type, huh?' You thought, remembering Wing's words while focusing on your aura and directing it to your hands.
Hatsu flowed from them almost immediately. Meanwhile, Alluka, who now had an excited and curious gaze, hurried closer to take a look. Killua moved closer as well, wanting to know what your aura is gonna do.
'If my suspicions are right, she's gotta be a Specialist.' Killua thought, resting a hand on his chin. 'But even if she is... there's no telling what's gonna happen to that glass...'
Everyone in the room stood in complete silence as they waited. A few seconds later, the slightest movement was seen from the leaf. Killua's brows knitted together in disbelief.
'Manipulator?! But with her abilities... there's no wa–'
His thoughts were cut off immediately as they came. Soon after the leaf's minuscule movement, it started to disappear slowly, starting from the tip then gradually moving to its stalk.
Alluka's eyes brightened with fascination. "Woah! That's so cool!" She exclaimed, watching the leaf intently.
Even Killua's eyes were glued to it. 'I spoke too soon... but a leaf that disappears... that's far-fetched, even for a Specialist.' He thought, taking note of every minor detail. 'Unless...'
As soon as it was done, you deactivated your Hatsu and slumped to the ground, panting in exhaustion. "I-It disappeared... What does that make me, Wing-san?" You look up at him with your dazed orbs.
Wing smiled. "You're a Specialist (Y/N)-chan. Usually, there are 5 results for Water Divination, but anything else that happens signifies that you're a Specialist."
"Oh, I see..." you mumble.
"Except that the leaf didn't really disappear," Killua spoke up, his voice crisp and clear.
"Huh? It didn't?" You ask, looking back at the glass, then at Killua with a questioning look. "But there's only water that's almost filled to the brim..."
"That's because the leaf turned into water." He steps closer. "Notice how there's slightly more of it than before?" Killua points out, crouching down to the glass' level.

Tilting your head in confusion, you brought your face closer to it. Sure enough, the water level was slightly higher. Your jaw dropped in shock at this.
"You're right! How did you figure it out?" Whipping your head to look at him, you asked Killua in awe.
"I had to look very closely," he replies, standing up once more and giving you a sidelong glance.
After listening to Killua's observations, Wing hummed in understanding. "I see. Very impressive." He paused for a while, as if deep in thought, before snapping out of it. "Oh yes, I must get a new leaf for Alluka. Wait here for a bit," he said, before stepping out of the room.
Soon after he left, you turned to Killua. "Hey, remember when you asked if I was a Specialist before?"
He nods. "Why?"
"What made you think I was one?"
He closes his eyes in thought. "Specialization is the vaguest out of the 6 categories. Being one means that you don't belong in any of the other 5." He opens his eyes once more, looking directly at you with his deep blue eyes.
"Enhancers strengthen objects or themselves. Transmuters, like me, change the qualities of their aura. Emitters detach aura from their bodies. Manipulators control objects or living beings, and Conjurers create objects using their aura..." He paused, giving you a small shrug. "When you showed me that ability back in the forest, it was unlike anything I've ever seen... that's why I thought you were a Specialist."
"I see... so were basically the odd ones out?"
Killua nods once more, his gaze softening as he watched you deep in thought.

After Wing got a new leaf, Alluka excitedly hurried to the glass, putting her hands around it and activating her Hatsu.
The room was thick with anticipation for the first few seconds. Then, you watched as the leaf moved slightly in the water, creating soft ripples around it.
"Woah...! Something's happening!" Alluka beamed, though she was visibly getting tired maintaining her aura.
The leaf continued to make small movements on the water before Alluka released her aura, slumping to the ground in exhaustion.
Wing smiled gently at her. "Since the leaf moved, that makes you a Manipulator, Alluka-chan!"
She gasped, returning that smile. "So that means I get to control objects, right?"
"That's right."
"Woah... that's so cool!" She looked at her hands. "But I kinda hoped I was the same with Onii-chan, though."

"Hmm... Maybe Nen types have nothing to do with family relations?" You suggested.
"It does actually. In my family at least," Killua explains. "Any silver-haired Zoldyck, like me, is guaranteed to be a Transmuter. Those who aren't, like Alluka, tend to be Manipulators like my mother."
"...What? That's so weird..." You frowned slightly. "Your family is so weird, Killua."
"Yeah... I know," He sighs, pausing for a while. Suddenly, he gave you an urgent look. "But that's beside the point, did you even register for the 200s yet? Before you got here?"
You perked up, "Oh right! I wanted to tell you guys first though..."
"It's fine, you have until midnight to register, and it's only afternoon," Wing speaks up. "But before I dismiss you, I have some homework!"
"What?" You and Alluka say in unison.
"That's right, I want you to practice your Hatsu so that the effects of Water Divination will be more pronounced. And starting tomorrow, we will start training on advanced techniques."
Alluka slumped her shoulders. "More homework..."
You couldn't help but chuckle at her actions before getting up and making your way to the door. "Well, I guess I should go and register now before I forget–"
"Wait, (Y/N). Come with me first," Killua stops you. He beckons you over to him with his head.
"Huh? Alright." You follow him out into another room, while Wing and Alluka exchange a few glances.
Once you two are alone, you look at him curiously. "Are we gonna train?"
"No, your physical strength should be enough to win you matches in the 200s...but–" Killua paused, giving you a serious look. "Remember, everyone can use Nen and weapons at that level. My training shouldn't be the only thing you should rely on anymore."
"Right... I almost forgot..." You paused, "Oh, don't they stop giving you prize money in the 200s?"
"That's right. People there only fight for glory. Some will do whatever it takes to become Floor Masters, so be careful," he says sternly, narrowing his eyes slightly.
You chuckle fondly. "I get it, I get it. You can stop worrying over me now, Killua."
Killua's cheeks reddened significantly as he heard this. "Wha– I wasn't worried! Wait, I mean, of course I am, you're my friend! ...Idiot..." He stammers, averting his gaze from you all of a sudden.
Taken aback, you went silent as well. 'Friend, huh... It's been a while since he called me that,' You thought, a contented smile unknowingly making its way to your face.
He sighs exasperatedly. "Just remember everything I told you, and you'll be fine."
You smile fondly at him. "Yup! I'll be sure to do just that."
"You better, now go and register while it's still early," he says, regaining his composure. "See ya." Looking at you through the corner of his eye, he gives you a small, encouraging smile, before leaving the room.
"Yeah, see ya," you say back, even though a part of you still wanted to stay with him.
_ _ _
You were able to reach the 200th floor by late afternoon. After walking through an ominously dark hallway, you finally made it to the receptionist.
"Welcome to the 200th floor!" She beams at you. You smile back, handing her the slip of paper the referee gave you earlier.
After processing it, she hands you some papers. "Please fill out the forms here!"
You oblige, taking the papers and filling out all the info. While you did so, she continues speaking in that fake cheerful tone, "Once you have participated in a fight, you have another 90 days to prepare. Once you've won 10 matches, you get the right to challenge a Floor Master!" She exclaims, looking expectantly at you for your response.
Even though you've heard her loud and clear, you continued filling out the papers, not even bothering to glance up at her. She sweatdropped, looking a little taken aback by your lack of reaction, but continued anyway.
"However, If you've lost 4 matches, you're disqualified from the 200s, so pick your matches wisely~" She warns, raising a finger.
Finally, you look up at her, handing her the papers. "Thanks, but I already know all that." You say gently, giving her somewhat of an apologetic smile.
"Oh, uh... that's fine!" She falters, before giving you a more genuine smile. Then, she began processing your papers. "So you're ready to go anytime, (Y/N)-san?"
"Yup!"
"Well, that's perfect!" A voice said from behind.
You curiously looked back at the source of the voice. There, a man stood right behind you. "Why don't we fight then?" He speaks up again, a cocky smirk playing at his lips.
You smirk back at him, your usual demeanor suddenly disappearing. "Sure, why not?" You spoke, giving him a challenging look.
'I wonder how strong I've gotten now.'
