I whined as Izuku trailed behind me slowly.
"We're going to miss the ending, I'm actually supposed to be up there!"
"I'm coming, I'm coming." He huffed, rushing to catch up with me, though I was semi-jogging.
I had already changed clothing, curtsy of RecoveryGirl. Although it was just a standardized school uniform: white button up and a green skirt.
I finally got to the podium. I was late and All Might had already started his speech. Maybe know one noticed.
I got to the podium and it was nearly as tall as me. I jumped high enough to get my chest above it but my arms were bent, angled in a way I couldn't really move them to force me up. I fell back to the ground. I landed on my bum. Todoroki noticed my struggles and looked down at me.
He looked smug. So smug I wanted to beat the Tartarus out of him.
I backed up a few steps then sprinted forward. I jumped up the side and landed on my knees at the edge of the platform.
I stood up quickly as All Might got up on the platform with ease.
"Young Bokkusu, you did well to end up in third. You would've been joined by young Iida if he did not have to leave. Congratulations! Try not to be late next time." He slipped a bronze metal over my head and around my neck.
Back in class, Professor Azawia announces we had two days off, and we would be allowed out of the dorms.
I went to my dorm and grabbed my back pack, I packed it with a few items, clothes, cat food, a cat.
I made sure Salem was comfortable and safe in my bag and rushed out of the campus.

I rushed into the bar, and down stairs to my room. I didn't bother stopping for even a second to see or speak to them. I needed to put Salem up. They would probably kill or tell me to get rid of him if they saw I brought home a pet.
After situating Salem, I hurried back to the bar.
Once I stepped in, I was pressed against the wall, a sharpened blade to my neck.
Suddenly, I couldn't move my body in any way. It was like sleep paralysis. And my demon was this no nosed weirdo.
"Um... who are you?" I stuttered.
"So you associate with these fake hero want to be's." He spat.
"I'm not a-"
"She works for us, she has infiltrated the UA high school."
He begrudgingly backed away from me, leaving me frozen against the wall.
With that he left.
Eventually Tomura got off the floor. Then Kurogiri started moving again.
"Umm?" I hinted at me not being able to move.
"Just wait." Kurogiri instructed.
Eventually, it wore off. I felt relieved.
"So, I've got internships this weekend..." I started.
"I know," Kurogiri said, "I signed off on the permission slip. Which offer will you be taking?"
I chuckled to myself, he was acting like a dad and that this was totally normal.
"I guess the one with Best Jeanist." I rolled my eyes while saying. "Why do I have to go?"
"It would seem suspicious if you didn't. Plus, there are things you can learn from this experience."
I huffed at the thought of learning.
"Everyone be seated. You have to pick out hero names before leaving for your internships. I'm no good at this so Midnight will come in here and have final say over your choice." With that, he was consumed by a yellow sleeping bag.

Midnight entered the room.
"What your hero name projects will have a great effect on where you will end up in the future. Now you will have 15 minutes to decide and then you will come up here and announce it. I will have final say over all."
A hero name? Despite having a few day to think about it before, I feel like this has just been thrusted upon us without warning. I feel like a regular kid trying not to embarrass themself. All of these other people probably thought of thousands of different names that perfect represent who they want to be. All I've thought about is surviving the night.
For the first time I'm thinking past tomorrow. And I'm not staying a 'hero' for long, it's just for this weekend, but if my name is announced, it may be what I'm referred to for the rest of my life.
Master named me Pandora Bokkusu, after the first woman in Greek Mythology.
Modeled from clay by Hephaestus and given a variety of blessings by various gods and goddesses.
Before being sent to fulfill her duties, she was given a box that would be her dowry for Epimetheus, her future husband. They were instructed to never open the box.
After a few years, Pandora's curiosity grew about the contents of the box. Eventually she gave in, opening the box.
A swarm of hideous, buzzing things were released into the world. Sickness, death, and sin. But once all these things entered the world, there was something left.
Frail but it endured, something truly beautiful. At the bottom of the box, mixed with all the anguish and fear, was hope.
After learning the legend surround my name it made a lot of sense. He always had this planned. I would was in the prestigious, UA High, learning their secrets, weaknesses. And I would release havoc upon them when it was time. But where was the hope? Would I end up turning good, like some cliché and become everyone's hope? Only to feed all the League's secrets to the pros. Then I would be the public's hope. But if I don't, and I give UA's secrets to the League, or even what I'm doing now, I'm the hope for villains.
Either way, I'm destroying one for the other's ideals and benefits.

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday
