"Wakey wakey~" A scratchy tone whispered in my ear.
Their hot breath tickled my ear, sending shivers under my black fur.
I purred out in resistance. Refusing to open my eyes.
"Tomorrow I want you to sneak into the principals office and steal a paper for me." He whispered, stroking my fur. He laid behind me, nudging his face into the back of my neck.
"This paper will be a vital piece of our plan. But whatever happens I don't want you to make it too obvious that your working with the league." He purred into my ear.
"Just in case things go south."
With that he got up, I felt his warmth leave me.
Then his scent disappeared from the room.
I didn't think much of it and fell back into my deep slumber.
'Beep Beep Beep Beep!'
The sound of my alarm went off. I rolled over and smashed the button on the clock.
I rolled off the mattress and forced myself up off the floor. I changed forms and looked at the bed.
Black fur covered the sheets.
I shed like crazy...
I showered and changed clothes. I wasn't up as early as I was yesterday but I still had an hour.
I left my dorm, a few of the other girls were also leaving theirs'. The were walking toward me. I quickly fumbled with the lock trying to hurry and lock it before taking off.
But I was too late.
As soon as I pulled the key from the door:
"Oh hey! Bokkusu want to walk to breakfast with us?" A pink skinned girl flagged me down.
My mind went blank.
Food. Sizzling, crunchy bacon. Seasoned hard boiled eggs.
I felt myself starting to drool.
I quickly brought my hand up, wiping saliva from my lip. I pulled my key out and turned to them smiling.

"Of course!" I clasped my hands together.
"Let's go!" The pink girl said.
She looped my arm with hers and the brown haired girl, Uraraka.
"My name is Mina Ashido, but just call me Mina." She introduced her self as we slipped down the hall towards the school building.
After a few turns we arrived at the cafeteria. We all got trays and made our way to the line of people.
"So Bokkusu, you were really good during the battle training yesterday."
I looked at her in a daze. The only thing I could think of was food. I don't think I've actually eaten in a while.
That could be another reason I was so drained yesterday.
My head has been in the clouds lately.
We eventually got our food and found a table to sit at.
I looked hungrily at my food before me. The smell was more intoxicating than alcohol. More additive than Xanax.
I took my time. Slowly biting into and chewing my food. Savoring every bite.
I was lost in the flavor of the greasy food. I purred in pure enjoyment. My tail swung furiously.
"Wow. You must really like Lunch Rush's food." Mina laughed.
I gave her a glance and returned to my food.
Before I realized it, my plate was clean.
I finally gave my surroundings my attention.
I looked at the seats around me and realized multiple people had joined.
The electric boy, rock boy, and Midoryia had joined us.
I sat there thinking furiously about when they could've possibly joined us.
"Hey Izu~" I grabbed Midoryia's attention. He blushed a the nickname. "When did you all get here?"
His hand reached behind his head, rubbing it gently.
"We got here a while ago, it's actually almost time for class. We just didn't want to bother you because you looked like you were really enjoying your food." He explained.

My mouth formed an "o". But my eyebrows furrowed, we got here an hour early and it's already time for class.
"You looked so cute how you awed over your food!" Mina exclaimed.
My expression dropped a little. Not even just the fact that what she just said was creepy but that she just annoyed me.
I stood up from the table and wiped my mouth with a napkin.
"Hey, Izuku-Chan." I spoke.
"Yea?" He stuttered.
"Will you," I stuttered a bit, "walk me to class."
Everyone looked at me with stupid expressions. I quickly tried to cover up my sweetness with a reason.
"I forgot what hallway to take." I turned my face away, adding to the embarrassment.
"Sure." He replied, a bit flustered himself.
It's just part of my plan to get information...
"All right. Be quiet!" The Pro yelled. "We're going to pick class representative."
Everyone began swirling into chaos. People shouted names and just random things.
Eventually Azawia seemed to have enough and silenced the class.
"We are going to vote in an orderly fashion."
When the votes got counted up, the winners were Midoryia and Yaoyorozu.
Yaoyorozu seemed humbly excited about being chosen. Midoryia on the other hand seemed nervous.
The beginning of the day went on, business as usual until lunch time rolled around.
"Izuku." I sang his name as it rolled off my tongue.
He was talking to Uraraka by a few desk.
I clung onto his back, my arms hung loosely around his shoulders. I breathed out onto his neck. I felt his goosebumps travel across his skin.
"Want to walk with me to lunch?" I whisper in his ear.
"Sure.." he stuttered out.
I looped my arm with his and pulled him through the door.
It was then that loud sirens sounded. Alerting everyone in the viscidity that there was a breech at the gate.
It was loud and hurt my ears. They flattened against my head in pain.
A large horde of people crowded the hallway. Pushing and shoving in all different directions. Midoryia was pushed away from me.
The crowd gave me anxiety and a fearful demeanor.
But then I remembered the voice that came to me in my sleep.
Hurry.

The Granddaughter of Time
Teresa Hargrove was okay with giving up. She knew the Earth was doomed and there was nothing to be done about it. What she was not okay with was the Future, an enigmatic woman nearly fanatical in her devotion to making a difference, dragging her along — seemingly, to prove her wrong. It turns out though that the Future is very hard to understand. This story contains heavy themes, including mental illness, existential crisis and death. However, I still tried to eventually convey a message of hope. Several mythical and metaphorical beings in the shape of humans will appear in most chapters. However, they are not meant to be of a specific ethnicity or social background and are instead perceived differently by people around them. For your reading pleasure, feel free to imagine them any way you’d like, even if your imagination contradicts descriptions from the story. Enjoy!~
