《SWEATER WEATHER | dylan sprayberry [✓]》70; he's alive

"Dylan, you ok? You've been opening and closing your mouth for like a minute." Ellie chuckled, playing with the back of his shirt's collar. She was smiling at him.

It took him a while to realize he hadn't said that. But it was so real – he practically saw himself admitting her he's in love with everything about her. It didn't happen; he just ended up being an idiot. Everything seemed weird, because things felt too damn weird.

He bit her lip, sending the blonde a small smile. It was the time – postponing this won't change his nor her feelings. "Ellie...there's something I have to tell you."

"Oh my god, no, don't – don't say that, please, Dylan, I beg you, please, please, please don't say that!" Her hands left his neck, covering her mouth. The shocked look on her face confused Dylan, as much as her taking two steps back. She suddenly went pale – paler than usual, that is.

Does she know? She does. And she doesn't like me back. Great. Isn't this lovely? I have one fucking chance and of course, I have to ruin it. Why can't things just be...like Allison and Scott? They were practically meant to be. Why can't Ellie and I be like that? Why does she have to not like me? What did I do wrong? She freaking doesn't even want me to like her. Oh my god, I'm such an idiot. Of course this wouldn't work out, of course.

Dylan's brain was working way too hard, and he felt his palm starting to sweat. Things were far out of control, and frankly, his mind was empty. He didn't know what to say, how to react, anything. All he could do was stand there and stare blankly at Ellie.

"Say what?" he finally managed to mutter, trying to hide the disappointed on his face. He wanted to deny, but a part of him had actually thought she might like him back. It felt like he had been hit by a bus, or something even worse – there was no actual way to describe what he was feeling.

But what was hard to comprehend, was the shock and fright on Ellie's face. She looked absolutely freaked out – he wasn't that much of a bad person, was he? If there's anything that can completely destroy your self esteem, it's seeing the person you care about so much being devastated because of your feelings towards them.

Right then and right there, Dylan Sprayberry, an actor from Teen Wolf, was feeling like crap.

"I don't want Liam to die!" Ellie screamed, clutching the edges of her dress tightly, on the verge of tears. "I don't want to go through everything I went through with Allison, not again! He's just like –"

And then he realized – she actually thought he was going to spoil season four to her and tell her that Liam dies – which, he does not. He felt the urge to laugh at the coincidence and the sudden rush of relaxation that ran through his body, but held it back since Ellie was about to have a break down – or maybe kill him. At this point, he wasn't even sure anymore.

"Ellie, he—"

"Don't!" yelled the blonde. She pointed her index finger at Dylan, pressing her lips into a thin line – yep, she was more likely to kill him than start crying. "You don't even understand how I felt when Allison died. You didn't get attached to her and cried for twenty minutes because of her death. You can't make something so perfectly and ruin it, telling me my second favourite character on the show is going to die! You can't!"

"He doesn't—"

"Shut up! You ruined everything, Dylan! Now all I'm going to do whenever I watch the new episode will be wait for him to die, you asshole! I just –"

"Ellie, he doesn't die." The words left his lips before Ellie even managed to open her mouth to stop him. "He survives. He does have some problem, but in the end, he's alright. That's not what I wanted to tell you."

It was obvious Ellie wanted to hold grudge, but she failed – the corners of her lips curved up, and she crossed her arms on her chest. "You asshole."

Dylan only shook his head, sighing in relief – she was more of a fangirl than he thought at first. But it wasn't like it mattered, really – it just made her even more adorable. Goodness' sakes, Dylan, can you think about Ellie without words cute or adorable?

"So...what did you want to tell me then?" Ellie asked, stepping towards him with a shy smile on her face. Her cheeks were still red – it seemed as if she was embarrassed of her behaviour. She didn't have to be, though. "I promise I'm not going to say something stupid again, or jump to conclusions. Or maybe I will, but I'll keep them in my mind. Silent. You know, not saying anything. Mouth closed. Lips locked – ugh, no, that's not what I meant."

He needed all his self control to not burst out laughing right there and then, because Ellie being confused and rambling about something neither of them understood was one of the cutest things he had ever experienced in his entire life – he just couldn't believe someone like her existed, someone who could make your day without even trying to, by just being themselves. She didn't even know how special she was to him and how much she had changed his life.

Simply put, there was so many things he wanted to tell her – from how magnificently her blonde hair shone on the sun to the way she made him feel ten thousand emotions in one single moment. But there was no way to tell that – he just couldn't, the words didn't want to leave his throat.

So when he finally opened his mouth, he wasn't even thinking about his words. "Ellie, I think I'm really, really in love with you."
