I wake up at six am like I do every morning, I slip out of the bed leaving Spencer sleep in for another while.
I slip on my fluffy white slippers and walk out to the kitchen. It was cold and I was in a long sleeved shirt and pyjama pants. Joey was still asleep in his bed in the living room. I make some coffee and go sit at the kitchen table.
God it was going to be a long day, I rub my face with my hands to wake myself up some more some the coffee hadn't kicked in yet.
I drink my coffee and go back into my room and quietly look for an outfit in my closet trying not to wake Spencer.
I picked out my fluffy white hoodie and some blue jeans and my white air forces to go with it.
I go to the bathroom and change, I leave my hair down so I just brushed it.
I clean my face and go back out to the kitchen. I sit down and pull my laptop out of my bag and go through some stuff for a while.
A little while later I close my laptop and stand up and walk over to the fridge, I open the fridge and look for something to make Spencer for her breakfast.
I decided to make her toast with Nutella and strawberries on top.
While the bread is in the toaster I go over to my bedroom and peep my head in the door.
"Spencer. Wakey Wakey." I call to her.
I hear her mumble something and pull the covers over her head.
"Oh do not start this." I huff.
"Five more minutes." She mutters.
".....Fine. Only five minutes and I mean it your up or I'll drag you out of that bed." I huff and close the door and go back to the kitchen.

I take the toast out and spread the Nutella out and put strawberries on top.
I put it on the table and go back to my room to call Spencer again.
"Come on it's been five minutes." I tell her.
"Shush." She says.
"Spencer come on." I huff again and open the curtains. I grab the blanket and pull it off her and she screams.
"Julie! It's cold!" She sits up and looks at me with a mad but adorable look on her face.
"Then get up and change into warmer clothes, your breakfast is done hurry." I tell her and she smiles.
"You made me breakfast?" She says hopping across the room to her suitcase.
"Mmhm." I mess up her hair as she sits down on the floor picking out an outfit.
I walk out of the room and leave her to get changed.
I check the time and it's 7:30, Spencer was getting a lift to school off her friends so I could leave at my normal time which is now.
"Spencer! I'm gonna head to school, the key is on the table lock the door!" I shout so she could hear me.
"Okay bye!" She shouts back and I smile dropping the key on the table.
I go to leave and stop, I run over to joeys bed and kiss his head and run out the door again closing it.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.
8 182Chains of Dominion
If Jake wins the local Fantasy Tactics Online tournament, he’ll have everything he’s ever dreamed of — a ticket out of town and the attention of a beautiful woman. However, this woman has more planned for him than a bus ride to the local metropolis. She teleports him back to her Realm and declares him her Master… and says it’s up to him to save the world. No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army. Warning: The heroes have intense tactical battles, wild kinky sex, and near-constant flirtation. The villains are disturbing and cruel. If the idea of villains doing bad things bothers you, please do not read books ever, but especially don’t read this one.
8 258The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
