One year later

Taehyung was still unable to flee and unable to leave Jungkook's side. It felt weird for the little raven to be blocked away from civilization for so long, over one year and still counting, the days slipping through Taehyung's fingers. He was living on the island most of the time, of course trying to hide or escape Jungkook's grip but the blonde island boy always found him again.

He also has tried over fifteen times to build a float so he could escape Jungkook but the floats has always ended up destroyed, either by Jungkook's fury, the sharks or the island itself, sending storms over Taehyung's built float and making it sink before the little raven could step a foot onto the wood.

So Jungkook had no other choice but to keep Taehyung close the entire time, not that he minded, he loved to be around the gorgeous raven after all but this also grew into a problem once the island demanded new powers Jungkook would have to give it.

Because he couldn't keep Taehyung with him when new survivors arrived as the other male would for sure try to reveal his dark plans so Jungkook had to keep Taehyung away. A really inconvenience at first for the tall blonde but he soon found a solution and dragged the screaming and crying male into an underwater cave.

It also was the place Taehyung was now staying the most at. The blonde has begged Jungkook with tears in his eyes to not leave him underwater but the man has been merciless and only kissed Taehyung's forehead before apologizing. Taehyung has been furious and attempted to first kill Jungkook, then attacked the sharks who were now all transformed into sharks, their human power sucked out of their bodies completely.

The sharks of course gently held Taehyung back since he was Jungkook's precious baby and they weren't allowed to harm the beautiful boy. Jungkook was understanding, he has been confused and miserable the first months too and he made sure Taehyung had everything he was asking for.

The underwater cave was beautiful, Taehyung has secretly admitted and he was even able to appreciate the attempts of Jungkook to make him feel homey. It was filled with goods from the sunken ships and Jungkook even managed to find a few of Taehyung's belongings since he had amazing smelling and would always pick up his Baby's scent.

Whatever Taehyung might want, he got into his cave so he had everything he needed and craved for. A luxurious cage under water.

He might be terrified of the half human half sea monster but Taehyung could see that Jungkook genuinely liked him as he never tried harming him and was also so brutally honest about his love confessions. The cave was filled with Jungkook's presents, from small pretty sea shells he has collected for Taehyung to the goods he has collected from the ships.

Sure, Jungkook was forcing himself sometimes on Taehyung but he never went further than kisses and touches which Taehyung was grateful for. Jungkook has timidly confessed to him that he wanted to wait until Taehyung would be loving him. It wasn't like Taehyung was going to leave anytime soon. The island itself was against Taehyung's leave, the sea controlled by Jungkook so Taehyung had no real escape.

With Jungkook being bounded to the island, Taehyung couldn't swim or run away. Inside the water were the sharks, the old passengers turned into Jungkook's mindless slaves and who were also bounded to the island. Taehyung liked to imagine two of them were Yoongi and Jimin.

And god, has Taehyung tried to escape, so many tries but all of them without success. Jungkook frequently visited him since he has been brought to the cave, only let out when the island was empty again. Taehyung has experienced the process multiple times now, all of them ending with him crying his eyes out when he felt the storm through the water or saw blood tinting the water red.

He couldn't believe Jungkook was so nonchalant about this, a cold hearted killer and no matter how hard Jungkook tried to erase that picture in Taehyung's head, it will forever stay.

But Taehyung's behavior has completely changed, he felt hopeless and has become incredibly shy and retracted into himself, only during the times of the new ships arriving he became his old self again.

Taehyung was reading a book, saved somehow from the newest sinking ship which surprised him but he didn't question it. He was happy that he had any kind of distraction here, the beach and jungle already having grown familiar as well as Jungkook's camp since he has explored every inch of the island.

His black hair has faded into a shade of golden brown which looked beautiful, long hair framing his tanned face, his entire body now glowing a beautiful gold which Jungkook immensely loved as he was always admiring how beautiful Taehyung looked.

The blonde was sitting behind Taehyung, leaning against a palm behind him and enjoying the peaceful illusion, mindlessly playing with Taehyung's hair and braiding it. Taehyung was sitting in between his legs, elbows resting on Jungkook's knees. He of course has faintly protested but didn't speak up further as it was useless anyways.

Jungkook was humming a happy song, a long forgotten melody he has heard ages ago but it was somehow still stuck in his head. His long fingers were carefully tossing with Taehyung's hair, admiring the beautiful dark brown locks he was able to caress. He accidentally pulled a little bit too hard on one strand and Taehyung mewled in response.

"Jungkookie, could you please stop tugging so hard on my hair?", Taehyung quietly spoke up. Yes, he did call Jungkook a nickname, the blonde asking him to a little bit of three months ago and Jungkook has been so innocently happy that Taehyung forgot about the horrible things the man has done to secure his survival.

When Jungkook was like this, he was just an excited boy who wanted to be loved, craved for it so badly that he forgot everything around the one he loved. Who apparently was Taehyung.

"Sure sure, sorry Taehyungie", Jungkook was quick to apologize and kissed the crown of Taehyung's hair before braiding his hair more gently and Taehyung sighed. These were the moments he has come to love and store in his heart. Moments where he could pretend nothing of the past things have happened.

But even those moments were just the calm before a storm.
