Little sobs and gasps left Taehyung's lips while he stayed in embryonic position, sobbing to himself because he was so done with the situation, he was tired and disgusted with himself for not being able to take care of himself properly. He was completely exposed to Jungkook and there was no place to hide from him.
Once he recovered slowly from his panic attack, he sat up and rested his head in between his knees, inhaling and exhaling deeply for a few moments before finally calming down. "Think, where could you hide from him...", Taehyung mumbled to himself before a thought crossed his mind.
"Maybe I can build another float without his knowledge...", Taehyung suddenly thought and smiled secretly before his smile fell as soon as it came. "The sharks would stop me", he huffed, feeling defeated once again before his eyes fell on a certain peaceful looking little bay. "The dolphin bay!", he cheered and felt hope blossoming in between the darkness already surrounding his heart.
"This could work! The dolphin bay! They're always nice", Taehyung mumbled before getting up abruptly to run towards the dolphin bay, legs feeling wobbly and throat still burning. So Taehyung decided to quickly make a trip to the little fountain to soothe the burning in his throat. There wasn't any mirror for him to look into in order to examine his injuries but he was pretty sure his entire throat was purple by now.
But Taehyung was still curious and gently touched his swollen neck to feel the wounds. It was pounding underneath his fingertips so Taehyung quickly stopped touching his throat. He didn't need to cause more damage than there already was. These wounds would already take forever to heal.
He quickly let go of the wounds before making his way slowly to the dolphin bay, hoping to see his dear friends again and he also hoped that they would be able to help him. His thoughts wandered away, back to the words Jungkook has told him. Taehyung all this time has thought of the sharks as something pure, something that couldn't even Jungkook mess up, only to find out that they were all sacrifices Jungkook has made to the island so he could stay and have his water powers.

It was so scary to know that these poor animals have once been human. Also the thought of the island demanding sacrifices and gifts Jungkook would offer the water and the island so he could stay. Gifts which were the humans invading the peace of the island. Then why did Jungkook decide to keep Taehyung unharmed? Was he really that lonely to ask for another inhabitant?
"Why did it have to be me?", Taehyung whispered while staring towards the idyllic facade of the island, feeling nostalgic out of the sudden. If he could've know from the start, he would've preferred to die in the water or in the ship rather than stranding here. It was at least a better death than to be the obsession of a maniac island boy with some weird water powers.
"Poor Hoseok Hyung... I bet he's already sick from worry... I wish I could talk to him one last time", Taehyung said to himself but his eyes hardened. "No. I won't think this way. I'll find a way out of here and I'm gonna see my friends again. And my family", Taehyung spoke confidently before starting to run towards the water, already calling out for his dolphin friends.
He only realized his mistake when he was in the water up to his knees. Because fins slashed through the water surface, grey and majestic.
But it weren't the fins of dolphins.
The sharks moved close to Taehyung, sharp teeth on display when one lifted its snout out of the water to glare at Taehyung and the little raven stumbled back out of the sudden. He was forced backwards because the sharks kept coming closer and if Taehyung was being honest with himself, he was fearing for his skin because he has seen how the once peaceful sharks turned into murderous creatures feasting on human flesh and blood.
And Taehyung really didn't want to end up as dinner for the sharks. So he had no other choice but to stumble back onto the warm sand on the beach. And only then, the sharks moved back into the depths of the sea, clearly guarding the dolphin bay. Taehyung panicked because the dolphins were nowhere to be found.

"Please don't be dead", he whimpered, running along the beach to look for his friends until he has rounded the entire island and returned to the same spot, panting loudly. He rested his hands on his knees and coughed loudly. "Oh god, this is all my fault", he sobbed out.
Only to finally hear the familiar clicking of the dolphins. They were literally caged in one part of the dolphin bay, guarded by sharks so they wouldn't be able to come and help Taehyung. 'TaeTae!', they yelled out for his attention and Taehyung was relieved to see them, far away but at least alive. 'They hold us away but they can't kill us!', one dolphin clicked and Taehyung exhaled relieved.
Finally some good news.
But he also got suspicious about their weird dynamics, sharks and dolphins seeming to hate each other but both seemed unable to hurt one another. Which made Taehyung wonder what they meant to each other.
Maybe these dolphins were also victims of Jungkook's cruel actions. They indeed were, the ones slaughtered by Jungkook with his bare hands, their innocent lives taken and turned into dolphins rather than sharks as they always were the ones to question Jungkook. One of them was Namjoon. But Taehyung didn't know about that truth which was also why the dolphins were so fond of him. And why that large dolphin has always stuck to his side.
Taehyung threw another glare into the direction of the sharks before deciding it was best for him to rather hide in the jungle than try to escape in the water as Jungkook held all the power there. maybe he could find the place the dolphins have talked about where he could hide.
His steps carried him back to the end of the beach and he just wanted to enter the jungle. But before he could reach it to hide inside the depths of the jungle, someone suddenly appeared behind him. "I told you to stay on the beach!", an angry voice boomed behind him and Taehyung brutally was dragged back.
A strangled cry left his abused throat when he was thrown to the ground. Jungkook stared down to his captured Baby who inched away from him with wide scared eyes. But the blonde quickly stopped Taehyung from escaping again, bringing him closer to his body once again.
"You really want me to be mad, huh", Jungkook growled out furiously, grabbing Taehyung by his hair and bringing their faces closer. His eyes wandered down to Taehyung's lips and before the smaller could react, Jungkook was already kissing him roughly before letting go of him after a few seconds.
"I thought I made myself clear when I told you that you cannot leave me ever again. But seems like I have to be mean to you so you realize it", the blonde grumbled in a bad mood while Taehyung stared up to him scared, not daring to utter a word.
"Leaves me no choice then, pretty boy", Jungkook commented and just like that, Taehyung was out like a light the next second. Dropping into Jungkook's arms and wondering what just happened before his mind darkened and his vision turned black.

Glass Cannon
Mortal Coil is the best VRMMO in the market with millions of people playing it! In this game, two best friends made a bet with each other. Whoever becomes the #1 ranked would win. Such a simple bet, but to them, it was like a declaration of war. Being two of the most stubborn individuals on the planet that saw loss as a personal offense, they made this last bet before cutting off their friendship due to some... complicated matters(Don't worry It'll get explained in the book). The problem was, that one was super talented at the game, and the other was super shit. This story revolves around that player. No, not the talented one, the shit one. Hated by many for his rather "uncouth" strategies (one of which included hitting a guy in the back of the head with a wooden board, stealing all his stuff and leaving him stark naked in the middle of the woods), his name is Jack. Oh, and did I mention he's a min-Maxed for health which drives people insane? Unfortunately, as luck would have it, he stumbles upon the worst possible hidden class for him. Warrior of Glass. A class with insanely high attack power... and insanely low HP. He's also given a quest to retrieve a sword in the middle of the Ashen Forest (lovingly nicknamed "Suicide Woods" by the players) and another quest to kill 7 insanely powerful demon lords that roam the lands so he can fulfill his predecessor's legacy. Now, armed only with a veeery high damage output, an unbendable will of steel and his almost nonexistent sense of guilt (emphasis on almost), he still aims to become the #1 player. This time, with some serious handicaps.
