Taehyung has been hiding in the jungle for two days now, his survival kit the only thing left from civilization and he stared at it defeated. He didn't dare to step one foot back on the beach and whenever a passenger was striping through the jungle to get a few more supplies for god knows what, he hid further in the jungle.
Nothing could get him back to this horrible group and their terrifying leader. Jungkook was scaring Taehyung beyond belief, not only did he kill the only friend he now had on this island, he also confessed his love to him before forcing himself onto the raven, brutally and without mercy and not even caring for Taehyung's helpless cries.
This type of love wasn't something Taehyung has ever imagined to get. He wanted the romantic type of love with falling head over heels for someone, protecting each other and always being there for the other, loving them unconditionally without never wanting to be apart from his significant other.
Not this toxic love Jungkook tried forcing onto him. Still the thought of Jungkook watching and most importantly touching him without his notice, waiting until he would fall asleep made Taehyung want to throw up because he was so disgusted. All this time he has thought that something was fishy about Jungkook, Taehyung has thought he could maybe be a cannibal, a creep but that he was stalking Taehyung so intensely like this was just horrifying.
The raven has believed that Jungkook had a secret, he did clearly after killing Namjoon so brutally but hid it behind the idyll of the island and his innocent looks, made everyone believe him instead of Taehyung so that the poor male was even questioning his own sanity. Taehyung was sure Jungkook would kill him for spilling one of his dangerous secrets.

But Taehyung would've never thought that Jungkook was obsessed with him in that way, he didn't even know the blonde that good. He has always questioned Jungkook yet Jungkook must've taken that as some twisted sign of interest. And therefore approached him.
Taehyung shivered, bringing his knees closer to his chest while staying close to the little lake he has found before, staring into space because he didn't know what to do. He wanted to flee from this horrible island but he couldn't get onto the beach part of the group, he knew that they'd either scare him away or hurt him for rejecting their leader. Or Jungkook manipulated them to force him to stay or kill him himself for rejecting him.
All these horrible scenarios played in Taehyung's head that he didn't realize how someone got closer to his hiding spot. When he did, his head shot up, large terrified eyes staring at the person and he scrambled away with a scream. "Hey, wait! I didn't come this entire way for you to fucking run away!", the pale man named Yoongi called out for the terrified male who timidly stopped in his tracks.
"Geez, puppy eyes, I have a message for you", Yoongi snarled with clear distaste for the raven who clutched onto his little bag, staring suspiciously at the other male, already prepared to run away since it could all be a trap. A trap of Jungkook trying to capture him and force him back to the group.
Taehyung couldn't calculate Jungkook's actions, he thought he could but he never did. Because the blonde island boy kept surprising him and Taehyung didn't want to play Sherlock anymore, not after losing his friend and almost his innocence to the maniacally blonde. "From who? Don't you mistrust me?", Taehyung asked suspiciously, looking around in the fear of others appearing next to him to trap him.

"I'm alone. Y'know, it's funny how you think we care for you when we clearly don't. We want to leave while you stay behind cowardly", Yoongi clicked his tongue while staring at the other male. Taehyung didn't say anything, shuffling in his spot and avoiding Yoongi's eyes. "Stop looking like a kicked puppy and listen", the passenger said and Taehyung nodded curtly.
"Jungkook sends me to inform you that we've almost finished building the float. He says to leave you alone so you can think about his offer to join us. I think it's very generous from him when you always push him away. Jungkook told us that he genuinely likes you, which I don't understand. You're only hurting him with your accusations yet he still likes you. So try to be less of a dick, you get me? Unlike your thinking, the world doesn't resolve around you", Yoongi spat and Taehyung clearly flinched.
"Why are you hating me so much? I don't even know you yet you call me these horrible things when I only want to protect all of you from him... I don't mean any harm", Taehyung whispered out, sounding incredibly hurt but was only met by an unforgiving stare. "We're stranded here if you haven't realized. We're stuck here and have to work together to leave. Jungkook's a great help while all you do is whining, you're not a child anymore, get over it and stop trying to find someone at fault for your little problems", Yoongi hissed back furiously, the sudden anger startling Taehyung.
Whenever he started speaking bad of Jungkook, all of them snapped at him and bared their teeth at him like some sort of animals. They behaved differently then, usually accepting his presence in their middle but once it came to Jungkook, they completely changed their demeanor.
It was scary.
"You don't deserve to be saved. Not when you're trying to take the best thing away from us", Yoongi then hissed before throwing one final glare at Taehyung. "Stay away from our camp. Jungkook's the only one to talk good from you by now", were his final words before he stalked away.
Taehyung crouched down next to the lake and threw up the bile collected in his throat, trembling and crying over the mess he made before burying his head in his hands while sobbing loudly. They were going to get into a tragedy, his heart knew that.
Jungkook seemed so close to win whatever he was aiming for and it terrified Taehyung beyond belief. He was all alone, left and isolated from the rest of them. It must be so easy for Jungkook to find him now and have him like he has promised Taehyung after he ran away.
The dark promise was still stuck Taehyung's head. Allowing him to have a glimpse on the fate that was awaiting him when he wouldn't stop Jungkook. Not to talk about the unknown fate awaiting the rest of the passengers.
But could Taehyung even stop Jungkook when he had everyone on his side and would possibly leave by the end of the week? Taehyung didn't know the answer.
So he buried his head in his hands and cried.
