Taehyung felt absolutely drained when he woke up and he rested his head against his arms after he sat up. Namjoon was dead. His loyal friend was gone, because of Jungkook. Slaughtered without mercy so Jungkook could keep his powers and Taehyung felt sick in his stomach. When he lifted his head and looked around with tired eyes, heavy bags under his eyes, he saw the group already awake.
No one has bothered to wake him up and they didn't even seem to notice his presence or that he was awake. It stung Taehyung more than he wanted to admit, plus he was now completely alone again. He has just went back to where he was before. All alone, stranded on an island together with a group who despised him the more time passed.
He sunk into himself by the hopeless feeling in his chest and tears slipped out of his eyes by the thought of Namjoon. Their last conversation was just about Jungkook and his actions, he didn't even have the chance to get to know Namjoon more. The purple haired man has been so friendly and generous, not creepy like Jungkook and he has been the only one Taehyung has come to trust.
Namjoon has developed into his saving anchor but he was gone now, leaving Taehyung in the middle of hungry predators that were just waiting for a mistake from his side so they could kick him out and ban him from their group. It was 'their' group now, because Taehyung had no one left by his side.
Jimin, his friend he has met on the cruise ship, has developed the same hatred for Taehyung and the little raven didn't even understand why they disliked him so bad, all he has done, was asking the strange island boy questions. Where was their common sense? Why were they so blindly listening to Jungkook and trusting him?

Sure, he has been on this island longer than all of them so he had all knowledge and experience but if he was so skilled, then why couldn't he be able to leave on his own? Why did he need a group to help him? And why was Taehyung the only one to know about Jungkook being not what he seemed to be? He has brutally murdered Namjoon with bare hands, he was capable of anything and therefore more dangerous than any wild animal on this island.
There were so many questions in Taehyung's head and not a single answer.
Someone suddenly nudged his shoulder roughly and Taehyung looked up with teary eyes, quickly wiping the suspicious tears away. No one would believe him on why he was crying and it would only make Jungkook suspicious and Taehyung didn't need that.
"Jungkook told me to wake you up", the male said, he must be around Taehyung's age with long black hair hiding his eyes and Taehyung quickly jumped onto his feet. He was taller than the male who had a pale skin complexion and wore a bored look on his face. "Your friend disappeared while you've been sleeping and Jungkook says we should go search for him before he disappears like the other two", the male monotonously informed Taehyung who flinched.
His eyes moved over to Jungkook who was talking to two elder men seeming in a conversation and waving towards the jungle while the others were in the mood of departure. Jungkook of course caught Taehyung's shy gaze and winked at him before focusing back to the conversation. The four females have caught the interaction and now glared at Taehyung.
", c'mon, we want to leave", Jimin shouted towards the pale man who turned around without sparing a second glance at Taehyung who was once again left alone and on his own to follow the leaving group.

They didn't spare him any glances when he joined them at the end of the line, walking next to an unknown woman while his former friend and the other, Yoongi were more up in the front, walking directly behind Jungkook who of course was surrounded by the four girls fighting for his attention. Taehyung glared at his broad back with sudden hatred.
This was all Jungkook's fault, he was at fault why Taehyung was an outsider and why Namjoon had to die. All because of Jungkook. Maybe he was responsible for the storm as well. But the same moment he had this thought, Taehyung shook his head. That was ridiculous. Jungkook wasn't the reason for all of his problems.
°°°
Taehyung has followed the group towards a larger lake situated in the middle of the island, all of them standing on a cliff and staring down to the water. They've been searching for Namjoon all day long and were tired. So Jungkook led them to this lake and announced a break.
The raven has actually ended up on Jungkook's side by accident and once he noticed it, he stiffened. Because the blonde was now way too close to him. Could he smell Taehyung's anxiety? Did he maybe really see him before and would now push him off the edge? Taehyung was anxious and tried shuffling away from the blonde.
There was a sudden weight on his body, an arm resting on his hip and then hot breath tickled his cheek, just like the night before. Taehyung completely froze, the others didn't notice the sudden close proximity in between the two males because they were talking loudly under each other.
"Careful, Beautiful. Standing so close on the edge, it'll be so easy to push you from this cliff. Don't wanna slip, right?", Jungkook's velvety voice was close to Taehyung's ear, a chest behind his back and pressing him against the warm body, making his breath hitch. Jungkook was behind him. He was so close, too close and just one movement and he could snap his neck.
Like he did to Namjoon.
"Let go off me", Taehyung hissed and pushed Jungkook away firmly. The action turned all of their attention to the two of them, Jungkook's eyes were a deep black while he stared wanting at Taehyung who was red from anger. "I don't need your fake pity, you asshole!", Taehyung screamed at Jungkook who quickly changed his expression into a surprised one because the attention of the others were now on them.
"Just fucking leave me alone", Taehyung hissed and attempted to leave.
"You should be fucking grateful that our leader is courting you", one female suddenly spat after Taehyung before throwing him a glare of pure hatred. The black haired male stared at her shocked and stopped in his tracks. "He's a great leader and the best thing on this island. You should consider yourself lucky he's interested in you", the woman went on heatedly with a gleam of admiration in her eyes.
An arm was flung around her shoulders. "She's right, little one, you should appreciate me", Jungkook smiled, nothing dark gleaming in his eyes like before but Taehyung still shivered. He didn't trust that guy at all, popping out of nowhere and immediately taking the lead.
But it seemed like Taehyung was the only one to not trust the newcomer.
~
Did Jungkook really threaten Tae or was him giving him a tip?
