《His Cheetah | Soulmate/Hybrid | Jimin x Reader✔》Chapter 5

A wide grin spread across your face.
Park Jimin was a hybrid.
Your soulmate was a hybrid.
Your soulmate.
This explained the double heartbeats from when you entered the building. It explained why you couldn't find the source of the heartbeats in the audience.
It was because he was never in the audience.
Jimin's eyes widened as he, too, noticed that his mate was different. All of his worries rushed away, just like that. He wouldn't have to hide from his mate, because they were the same. They were both hybrids.
Jimin's face slowly broke out in a grin. The look on his mate's face made him feel extremely happy.
Jimin lifted his hand up, looking at you with a soft gaze. He wanted you to copy him. You slowly led your hand up to his and pressed it against his palm. A sudden feeling coursed through you and you both gasped. It was quite a feeling; euphoric. You both couldn't get enough of it. It was the best feeling that you both had ever felt in your entire lives. You craved for more.
Jimin tore his gaze away from your hands and looked up at you.
"My hands are bigger than yours."
A giggle left your mouth and you covered it with your other hand.
He smiled lovingly at the sound of your laugh.
"She's beautiful," he thought.
Jimin intertwined both of your fingers together.
"You found me."
Those three words alone were enough for the tears to start spilling.
A worried look came across Jimin's handsome features.
"Why are you crying? Don't be sad."
"I-I just. . ." You sniffled and attempted to wipe away some of your tears. "I never thought I'd ever find my mate. Or if I did that they'd never accept me because. . ." You stopped and you could tell that Jimin understood exactly what you were trying to say.
You continued to silently cry until you felt someone wipe away your tears. You glanced up and saw Jimin retreating his hand away. Jimin gave you a soft smile.
"You won't have to worry about those things with me."
"I--"
"Hyung."
Jimin ignored the boys beside him and tried to encourage you to keep talking.

"Hyung!"
Jimin once again ignored them and looked at you expectantly. You opened your mouth to reply and--
"HYUNG!"
"What the hell do you want?!" Jimin said to Jungkook, annoyance written clearly on his face.
"We've been trying to get your attention for five minutes! You've spent to much time on this one fan and people are starting to get suspicious. Wrap it up before a fight breaks loose!" Jungkook whisper-shouted.
Your face immediately became red. Jimin sighed and turned to face you again.
"Give me your album. I'll right my number in there so we can continue to talk," he whispered.
You nod your head and do as he said. He writes it quickly, hiding it from a curious Taehyung that sat right beside him.
Jimin gave you back your album and quickly whispered, "Text me the second you leave the building." You quickly nod your head.
"I-I would give you a hug, if we weren't already being watched." You giggled softly.
"Goodbye. . ."
"Y/N," you answered. "My name is Y/N."
Jimin gives you another wide smile and waves you goodbye.
You pass the people in the crowd with a wide grin on your face. A lot of people were giving you the stank eye for exceeding your amount of time with Jimin, but honesty, did you even give a shit?
No.
You felt happier than you ever had in a long time. You never even thought of the possibility of your soulmate being a member of BTS, let alone a hybrid. It seems that Jimin is the only one of the group and that none of the other members know about him either. If they did, it wouldn't end well at all.
Jimin's behavior didn't go unnoticed to the rest of his band. He had a wide smile on his face for the rest of the event. He seemed to be completely out of it. He couldn't focus on anything that Namjoon or any of the other members were saying. All he could think about was you.
Y/N.
"What a beautiful name," he thought.
Once the event was officially over and the group were all backstage, all of the boys immediately surrounded Jimin.

"Jimin-ah! What the hell was that?!"
"Are you crazy?! What if Manager Sejin or BangPD-nim saw that?"
"You can't just give all of your time to one fan! The others will think you're showing favoritism!"
"That's exactly what I was doing."
All of the members stared at Jimin; dumbfounded.
"Excuse me?"
"I was showing favoritism."
Jimin turned around, walked to a nearby couch, and plopped himself down on it.
Namjoon put his fingers on the bridge of his nose.
"And what exactly gave you the bright idea to do that?"
Jimin suddenly had that dumb smile spread across his face again. The boys stepped back in confusion. Jimin was weird (maybe not Taehyung weird), but this was a whole new level, even for him.
Jimin fell back on the couch and sighed loudly.
"I met my soulmate," he sang.
All the member's eyes bugged out.
"What?!"
"That cute girl was your soulmate?" Taehyung laughed.
Jimin suddenly had a serious expression overcome his features. He stared seemingly right into Taehyung's soul.
"Back the hell off."
Taehyung blinked in surprise and stepped behind a frightened Jungkook.
"Sorry hyung. . ."
Namjoon sighed. He had no idea what to think of the new information. None of the other members had found their soulmates, and frankly, most of them didn't want to, at least not yet. However, Jimin was ecstatic to find his. He always felt that she would be the missing part in his life.
"Jimin. . ."
Jimin looked up at the leader with innocent eyes.
"I don't really think that we can--"
Namjoon's words are interrupted by Jimin's phone going off. Jimin squeals excitedly and checks his messages. His eyes sparkle as he looks from Namjoon to Jin, whom was almost as excited as he was.
"She texted me!"
Namjoon sighs. He looks at the other members and motions for them to follow him out of the room.
They sit there in silence until Yoongi decided to speak up.
"What are we going to do? We're to high up right now for some girl to bring us down."
"Well, we can't break Jimin's heart when he clearly wants to try being with her," defends Seokjin.
"She seems like a nice girl. She was very nice to me, at least," said Taehyung.
Hoseok suddenly smiled. "I think we should let them be. Did you see the way he gazed at her when they were talking? He completed ignored us and the security guard for way over the normal time!"
Everyone silently nodded except one person.
Jungkook.
"I don't know, hyungs. There was something off about her that I don't quite get what it is."
"I noticed that too," said Yoongi. "I didn't notice it until after she talked to Jimin though. . . But other than that, she seems like someone who'd be good for Jimin."
The other members continued thinking about Jimin and the mystery girl. Jungkook didn't really like her. There was something about her that he couldn't figure out, and he didn't like that. Normally he could figure out a person by just looking at them, but not with you. That fact made him feel uneasy.
Jungkook decided to keep this to himself, for now. He had already let the other members know of his suspicion; that was all he could do for now.
But that didn't mean that he wouldn't be watching closely from now on.

"Hello, Jimin? This is Y/N."
You looked at the text and pressed send.
Jimin took exactly two seconds before responding.
"Hello Y/N."
You smiled to yourself.
"I want to meet you again."
Your heart started beating abnormally fast. The faint presence of Jimin's heartbeat was still there, as you were only standing right outside the building. His heart rate was extremely fast, too. The feeling was still weird to you. It was different than the feeling after running around in your cheetah form. You weirdly felt more. . . alive than you ever had from running, all from being with him.
Park Jimin.
You blushed. You both were now bonded. Nothing would get in the way of you and him being trying to be together. You both wanted this. You were going to try and hard as you could to make your relationship work.
Even if one of you sacrifices more than the other.

Bye friends!!!~
