It was already August Fred, George, and Irena were at the shop early like always. Irena and Fred were walking when they heard Hermione say, "that really is extraordinary magic!" "For that, Hermione," said Fred, "you can have one for free." A beaming Fred stood before them, next to him was a six-month pregnant Irena.
Fred was wearing a set of magenta robes that clashed magnificently with his flaming hair. "What's happened to your eye, Hermione?" "Your punching telescope," she said ruefully. "Oh blimey, I forgot about those," said Fred. "Here" He pulled a tub out of his pocket and handed it to her; she unscrewed it gingerly to reveal a thick yellow paste. "Just dab it on, that bruise I'll be gone within the hour," said Fred.
"We had to find a decent bruise remover. Were testing most of our products on ourselves." With her finger, Hermione got a bit of paste and gently dab it on her eye. "Harry, you help yourself to anything you want, all right? No charge." "I cant do that!" said Harry, who had already pulled out his money bag to pay for the Decoy Detonators.
"You dont pay here," said Fred firmly, waving away Harrys gold. "You gave us our start-up loan; we havent forgotten," said George sternly. "Take anything you like, and just remember to tell people where you got it if they ask," George said with a smile.
"How much for this," asked Ron. "Thats three Galleons, nine Sickles, and a Knut," said Fred, examining the many boxes in Rons arms. "Cough up." "Im your brother!" "And thats our stuff youre nicking. Three Galleons, nine Sickles. Ill knock off the Knut." said Fred. "But I havent got three Galleons, nine Sickles!" "You better put it back then, and mind you put it on the right shelves." Irena smiled and shook her head.

Ron dropped several boxes, swore, and made a rude hand gesture at Fred that was unfortunately spotted by Mrs. Weasley, who had decided that moment to arrive. "If I see you do that again, I'll jinx your fingers together," she said sharply. "Come on, Harry, we want to show you something," said Fred.
Fred, George, Irena, and Harry made their way to the back. In the back, they had boxes filled with shield hats. "You wouldnt believe how many people, even people who work at the Ministry, cant do a decent Shield Charm," said George.
"The Ministry ordered five hundred for all its support staff! And were still getting huge orders!" "So weve developed into a variety of Shield Cloaks and Shield Gloves."
"I mean, they wouldnt help much against the Unforgivable Curses, but for minor to average hexes or jinxes."
A bit later, Harry found Irena "Irena." She turned around when she heard her name; Harry was in front of her. "Hi Harry, how can I help you," Irena said with a smile. "Here," he said in his palm, he had money. "Whats this for," Irena asked, looking at Harry curiously. "Well, Fred and George wont let me pay." "Neither would I. Harry, you help Fred and George with their dream job. Look how happy they are," she said, pointing at them.
Both of them were demonstrating one of their products. Kids around them were laughing and looking in awe at them. He looked back at her. "But you two needed more," he said, referring to the baby. "Thank you, Harry, but we can manage. Now go on, your friends are waiting," she said, pointing to where Ron and Hermione were waiting for him. Harry smiled at her "bye Irena." She waved at him as he was walking to the front of the store.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

8 136Awakening
A potent tale of self-discovery. Centuries ago, the prophetic Golden Age ended in war, and history spiraled into darkness... Now, only scholars retain the last portent of the mythic city A'lara, concealed in a distant glade for the advent of the dragon mage. At the edge of the Known World, the slave Larin escapes her new lord before she meets his dark masters. Deep in the mountains, the legendary elf Kingard awaits his call to battle. When young Darek flees imperial mages tasked to exterminate shape-shifters, he launches them all on a voyage to redeem their unsought destiny. United by fate and guided by prophesy, their growing band of fugitives journey for A'lara to fight the ancient evil infiltrating the capital. But looming over the gears of fate, their enemies follow the same prophesies. With the unknown close upon them, Kingard and his allies face a mortal quest to restore their infected empire. Praise for Awakening: If you love Anne McCaffrey, J.R.R. Tolkien and Tad Williams, then Awakening is a novel you will surely want to pick up. D.N.Frost is a consummate world-builder with a knack for creating characters that are complex and three-dimensional. Frost writes with graceful prose that is descriptive and well-edited. The plot is fast-paced and entertaining. What really sets this novel apart is the cartography, which is a spectacular accomplishment. Incredible world-building! - M.L. Spencer, author of The Rhenwars Saga ★★★★★ This novel was published in 2014, and it includes 19 antique watercolor maps! Check them out: Maps of Awakening: an atlas directory
8 140A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.
