"Alright. Here we are." Damien sang as he parked the car in front of the building.

"Wow." I extended the word as I ducked my head to look at the building through the windshield.

Damien rounded the car and came to my side to open my door. I exited the car, refusing to take my eyes off the studio.

It was simply pretty. The floors had glass walls, overlooking the wide road and the garden on the other side. The space behind the glass walls was lit with golden lights, giving it a warm touch. The entry had automatic glass sliding doors. It felt rich. Of course.

'Dex' was written in bold and beautiful cursive above the entrance.

But what caught my eye was the logo on top of his name. It was all neon signage. A Bunny face tilted to the right and a rose bud tilted to the left made up the logo of his studio.

I blinked and turned my head to look at Damien who I found staring back at me. He looked nervous and he scanned my face for something.

"So?" He asked, when he found nothing in my expressions. "Is it good enough? I mean, do you like it?"

My mouth closed and my lips fell into a smile. I nodded my head violently.

"It's really pretty," I said.

He smiled too and I saw worry fade away from his face.

"Let's go inside then." He extended his hand towards me.

I looked at his hand and slowly put mine in it. His hand enclosed mine, his thumb rubbing the back of my hand slightly. He started walking towards the entrance.

I looked around while holding onto his hand tight.

The excitement was killing me. I still wanted to get an ear piercing and I'll have to work hard for it but I was still going to enjoy this tour to the fullest.

"Ow!" I exclaimed, when Damien slowed down. My body tugged back and my arm almost got seperated from my shoulder. "Why'd you slow down?"

"First, you're bouncing like an actual Bunny and second, I didn't slow down, you started jogging." With a simple twitch of his arm, I was back by his side.

"Ow!" I whined again. "You hurt my shoulder."

Damien rolled his eyes.

"What a baby." He poked my forehead twice and started moving without giving me enough time to hit him back.

I bounced beside him again, looking around with wide enthusiastic eyes and a wide grin.

The doors opened as we approached and the guards nodded their head slightly. It felt like total royal treatment.

The inside was a lot warmer than the outside. The lobby had white tiled floor, high ceiling and again golden lights, making it all look warm. There was a waiting area with couches and a huge TV. The receptionist stood up when she saw Damien enter.

"Good Morning, Mr. Mazzanti," she said with a small professional smile on her face. She tore her gaze away from Damien and looked at me.

Her smile grew a little wider.

"Miss Mazzanti," She acknowledged.

Wow. Feels good.

"Good Morning, Miss..." I trailed off.

"Luna Jackson." She bowed her head a little.

"Hi Luna." I smiled. She was actually really sweet unlike her boss who was the grumpiest little shit I had ever met.

"Now that the meet and greet is over," Damien started. "Can I know if we got more designs?"

"Yes. We got about ten more from the new appointed artists, sir," she replied. She disappeared behind the counter for some time as she bent down to get something.

Luna came into view again as she stood straight again with the same smile. She handed a bunch of papers to Damien.

"These are the selected ones," she said.

My gaze stopped at her hand. It was covered with tattoos that were cute and cool at the same time.

"Alright. Come on, Bunny," Damien said. He started tugging me along while he walked towards the elevator. I tried to pull away because I wanted to ask many questions about her tattoos and see them up close.

"Can I design stuff too?" I asked, looking up at him. He looked at me for a moment then looked back ahead.

"Sure," he said. I gasped and grabbed his hand with my other hand too. I shook it violently to make him look at my excited and happy self.

"Have I ever mentioned that I love you with about ten percent of my heart?" I asked.

He looked at me with a scowl.

"Why just ten percent?"

"Because you fight with me a lot and you refused to let me have a tattoo," I said. Damien scoffed lightly and rolled his eyes.

Reaching the second floor, I resisted the urge to run and watch from closer. There were about ten seats on both sides, and pictures of tattoos hanging from the wall.

From the looks of it, Damien had appointed very good people to design tattoos for his 'brand'. The work was great. The pictures praised the designers and the way the artists were doing stuff with that needle stuffy looked so precise and calculated.

Damien kept a tight hold on my hand, preventing me from running away. He was reminding me of the 'no tattoos or peircings' rule after every ten minutes while we stayed there.

Soft music was playing in the background and the people seemed to be having fun. There was laughter echoing around as some customers experimented with their own designs.

"Your workplace is a vibe," I said, as Damien now led me back to the car.

"Is it?" He chuckled, while opening the door for me. "I'm glad you're interested but you know-"

I cut him off.

"No tattoos and piercings because they hurt," I said, rolling my eyes. "I get it, Damien."

"Dex," he corrected. I stopped and turned to face him, one foot inside the car and one on the ground.

"You should start calling me that," he said. He shrugged when I gave him a weird look.

That name is cool. That's exactly why I don't want to call him that.

Not fair when they pretend to not know the cool part of my name and instead call me Bunny, a name too cute for me.

I nodded nonetheless and got into my seat. He stood in the door, while I fumbled with the seatbelt. For some reason, I couldn't do it at the time.

Big hands clasped around the belt and my wrist, pulling my hand away from it. Damien did the belt, again with a soft smile on his face. He closed my door and got into his side.

He did his belt and drove out of the parking lot without another word.

After a few minutes of saying nothing, I decided to break the silence.

"That reminds me," I started. "Today, I got to know that you were the one who named me Bunny."

His eyes widened a fraction. I saw him blink and avoid my eyes as I turned my head to look at him.

"Don't tell me Lucian told you that," he said.

"He did." I narrowed my eyes. "How do you feel giving a human baby the name 'bunny' and now that human baby is suffering because that nickname is cuter than her whole existence?"

"Now that is a lie." He scowled. "You make that name cuter, not the other way around."

I rolled my eyes and faced forward. It really was impossible to get through their thick heads.

"If only you stopped being an annoying hardass, you'd actually see how adorable you act all the time." He nudged me with his elbow lightly. I let out a snort, refusing to believe any of the bullshit he spewed out.

That's not true.

Gaping at the scene before me, I lost my footing as I swooned. Damien, I mean Dex, caught me quickly and poked my forehead.

"If you get hurt, we're both dead," he said.

I looked at him with a questioning look.

"I will kill you then Lucian will kill me," he clarified. I ignored him and turned to gape at the scene again.

"What is this?" I pushed myself up. Damien took a step to stand beside me.

"This, my dear," He stuffed his hands in his pockets and titled his head up proudly."is the cool people carnival."

The wow I was about to let out stopped in my throat when I heard the distant sound of wheels rolling against friction. The sound of brakes being applied.

"All the cool people from various places come here to enjoy with similar people. There are games, prizes, events and rides, just not childish.

My mouth fell open so I had an open-mouthed grin on my face. I turned my head to face my brother with twinkling eyes.

"But you told me there'd be music, dance and games like a normal carnival," I said.

"Surprise!" He exaggerated. He pointed at my face. "That look is priceless. I wanted that."

"And why do you sound like you're advertising it?" I asked. He explained it like it was a TV advertisement.

He let out a soft chuckle.

"You'll see, sweetheart."

I bounced beside him as he started walking again. This really looks so cool.

"Is that a sugar high baby?" Damien mocked in a baby voice, when I wouldn't slow down. I was pulling him with me, too excited to get in. I ignored his statement, not wanting to start another fight and waste time.

As I approached the entry, my speed started decreasing. There was a long line on one side of the golden railing and just two people on the other side. I stopped abruptly.

The two people were on the VIP side of the line. I looked at Damien questioningly.

I believe he counts as a VIP due to our family's wealth.

Damien understood the question and stepped forward, so I was being pulled now. He stopped behind the two people in the line, who were showing their golden ticket to the guard.

The guard looked up at Damien and his eyes widened. He ushered the couple in front to the side and bowed his head.

"Hello, Mr. Mazzanti," he greeted. With a curt nod, Damien stepped forward.

I was expecting him to pull out his ticket, which must be more valuable than the couple ahead of us but he simply stepped inside the huge door, dragging a surprised Bunny with him.

I blinked and closed my mouth.

"You didn't show him the ticket."

Damien chuckled. When he was done, his lips twitched up from one side. He kept his gaze forward, while I craned my neck to look up at him.

"I'm the organizer, Honey." He let out another chuckle. "I'm everyone's boss here."

"That's so cool!" I exclaimed. Dex stifled a laugh.

"I'm happy you like it already," he said. He looked at me finally.

The golden hue illuminated in his silver eyes was something that made my heart flutter. There was so much warmth and softness in his eyes, it honestly surprised me. It made me happy that he looked up to my opinion on stuff. That he cared if I like it or not.

His usual annoyed expressions were nowhere to be seen. Rather his features were completely relaxed and and a satisfied smile rested on his face.

"I was afraid it'd be too much for you. The crowd and all."

It didn't bother me, surprisingly. I didn't particularly like crowds, but the fact that he was so eager to take me on a date and spend some quality time was enough to make me overlook that. Besides, I was too excited about the carnival to pay attention to the people here.

"It's great," I said. A smile rested on my face as well.

Dex nodded slightly before clearing his throat.

"Alright. Let's go," he said. He faced forward and started walking. I looked around while keeping up with his pace.

"You have a thing for gold," I noted. Everything was gold themed paired with some other color, much like his studio.

"I love it," he said.

"Rose likes gold too," I said. "I like silver more."

Silver had a different grace for me. It looked prettier than anything golden did.

"Yeah. You, Lucian and Asher have a similarity there. Jayden is a bit on both sides but Josiah loves gold stuff," he said.

"You don't wear gold accessories though."

Josiah has a gold watch, a ring and a chain. Lucian and Asher have silver watches and silver rings. That's all I've seen at least.

"I like wearing black. But gold catches my eyes. That's why, anything I don't wear is gold most of the time." He smiled as he looked around at the pretty lighting all around the huge area.

He stopped abruptly after a while.

"Wanna play that game?" He asked, pointing to something on my other side.

I turned my head and saw an entrance. 'Arcade' was written in bold neon above the doors. Before I could respond, he pulled me towards the huge doors.

A few minutes later.

"That was good," Damien commented. He was seated on a chair, his right ankle resting on his left knee and his arms crossed over his chest.

"It didn't even hit the board." I scowled.

"At least, you can shoot," he said. "People get injured due to the recoil."

He had spent ten minutes, telling me how to do it. He had held my shoulder with one hand while keeping his other hand over my hand that held the gun.

When he was satisfied enough with how I took the recoil and was sure I learnt how to handle the gun, he sat back to see.

"Alright then. Thanks," I said, turning back towards the target. I shot once more and it barely hit the corner of the target.

I gasped loudly and turned to Damien.

"Did you see how close that was?" I exclaimed. He chuckled and nodded.

"I did. That was really good," he said.

I turned back towards the target with newfound motivation. I narrowed my eyes slightly and focused on the centre.

The gunshot that echoed was barely audible as I had earmuffs on. Dex forced me to put them on while he dumped his as soon as he was handed the earmuffs. Pretty hypocrite in my opinion.

"Now that was great," Damien said. He stood up and walked over to have a closer look. "That's pretty good."

I grinned from ear to ear staring at the hole in the third region on the circular board.

"Feels so cool!" I exclaimed. I didn't want to take my eyes off the board but I had to when Damien grabbed the gun from my hand.

"I think that's enough. We have a whole carnival to see," he said, putting the gun on the counter.

With his arm wrapped around my shoulder, he led me out. The earmuffs swung from my other hand and I handed them back to the person outside the door, thanking him quickly. Damien started walking faster, dragging me along.

We were walking peacefully until he started being mean again.

"Chocolate!" I whined. I had my free hand curled around his arm that was holding my other hand, trying to pull him back. I dug my heels into the ground but he pulled me along easily.

"That's liquor chocolates. I already told you that," he gritted, pulling me along with ease. "We'll get some from the other place ahead."

"I know you're lying!" I whined.

He stopped abruptly and turned to me with a glare. I glared up at him defiantly.

I don't know how this happened but it did. I really want to throw a tantrum and I believe he's saying that so he doesn't have to buy me chocolates.

"Stop throwing a tantrum, Bunny, before I decide you don't need any chocolates for the rest of the day," he warned. He was bent down to my level as he said that with a pointed look on his face.

I crossed my arms and scowled.

"I will buy from Lucian's card."

"We'll see if you even get to the shop," he said. His eyebrow rose as he set me with a challenging glare. "Now be a good kid and get back to your sweet self."

My lips turned into a pout against my will. I tried to stop all of this from happening. The whining, the childish behaviour but it didn't have an effect and my inner will won.

"Fine," I grumbled and started walking.

"I didn't mean get back to being a hardass," Dex said, from behind my annoyed self.

"Did I take my medication today?" I asked, out of nowhere.

"Yes." Damien confirmed. "Why?"

I don't know why I'm acting this way.

"Nothing," I said.

No matter how much she was oblivious to it, Damien could see that glimmer in Amira's eyes that had never appeared. He had never seen her so excited.

Asher leaving had too much effect on her. She was emotionally unstable already and this parting had affected her too much.

Being away from the only person who had tugged at her locked away heart. The only person after her Dad who had held that place, so much importance that she couldn't go hours without him.

Her brothers had all been helping but what Asher had done for her was something none of them could do. He had reached out to her locked away heart and forced it to flutter again. To feel the love that was snatched from her but given to her again.

For that, all of the Mazzanti brothers were grateful for him. For taking it upon himself to help his sister and forcing them all to change. Asher took charge and changed everything.

She was in a delicate condition. She had had too much stress for the past two years, but with her condition it got worse.

Nico had been worried about the hard shell she was building around her. The more she stayed alone with her thoughts, the more prone she was to fall deeper into the trap.

Now looking at her, anyone could tell she wasn't her 'hardass' self, as Damien defined it. She was more vibrant, more expressive, more stress free.

More childish.

That couldn't be mistaken, considering this was a huge contrast to what she was like normally.

"Dex?"

"Yes?" He asked, turning his gaze downwards, to look at his sister. She was looking up at him with curious eyes and he resisted the urge to melt and give her all the things she wanted.

"What is happening there?" She asked, pointing somewhere without taking her eyes off his face.

He turned his head ever so slightly to look into the direction she was pointing towards.

"Oh," he said. A smile made its way to his face and he looked back at her. "Let's see."

She jumped and started waddling towards the area. Damien barely held back the aww he was going to let out, as he let her pull him along.

She stopped when she saw the crowd and turned to Damien, as if asking if they were not VIP enough to avoid the crowd.

Damien smirked again and started leading the way silently. He entered a small building on the side that had just two floors.

Amira clutched his hand tightly as he led her through the dark hall to the stairs. The darkness scared her a little but the hand holding hers gave her enough courage to not shrink more into Damien.

Damien stopped once they had climbed two sets of stairs and opened the door. Light crept into the creepy staircase. Amira took some time adjusting to the light but what came into view made her gasp slightly.

She stepped into the balcony type room overlooking the arena and the crowd around it. Everything was visible clearly from here and she was more excited to see what exactly this event held.

And what she saw made her happy yet again. Happy at her brother, grateful even for offering this date.

Damien took a seat at the comfy couch and watched her sit beside him. Amira refused to take her eyes off the arena as she sat beside Damien absentmindedly.

Shining sports cars of different colors and designs were parked in the arena.

"This is like a runway of cars. They show off the cool cars and do stuff," Damien explained. "Jayden loves this part. That's why I made him beg way more than I planned to."

Both of the siblings chuckled at that. They had this in common. No matter what Jayden did, he was always funny and annoying to them and they couldn't leave any chance to mess with him.

Amira watched with wide curious eyes when the show started. She didn't want to blink and miss even one second. Damien, however, thought otherwise.
