Early update cuz I'm really busy tomorrow.

Love you.

---

"Goodbye. I love you," I said, hugging Rose tight and rubbing her back.

"See you soon." She kissed my cheek. "I'll miss you."

"No you won't." I said. A frown covered her face. I wiggled my eyebrows and smirked. "I've heard a certain wizard decided to join this camp at the last minute."

Her face flushed red as she slapped my arm lightly.

"Amira Levi, stop with your made up stories. I don't care if he's going or not."

"Aww. Using government names, are we, Rosie Posie?" I pouted. "I'm scared. Really."

"Stop it, Levi." She grumbled. Actually grumbled.

"What has happened to you?" I mused with an amused grin on my face. "Josiah is in for a good lecture for how he's turned you completely around."

A good lecture just to scare Rose. He's actually in for a big hug when he returns.

Rose cried a little when he came to say goodbye this morning. They had to leave early. Jayden the bitch got a few punches to accompany him on his holiday and Josiah got a big hug and lots of kisses because I was gonna miss him.

I'm missing him already. We don't spend as much time together as him and Rose do. But I still miss his presence, walking around the house humming to a song, or him just being the sweet guy he is and saying sweet stuff to fill the house with more love.

Also, when I was expecting my twin to be her timid self and say something like, "please don't."

She went with a warning.

"Don't you dare scold Josiah. You're scary and I don't want anyone to face that." She shuddered, after her sweet voice said that.

My mouth hung open, with the smile making its way to my mouth simultaneously. I grinned like a cheshire cat for a moment before grabbing her upper arm and pulling her forward.

"Come here for more kisses, my love. You've just made the princess happy." I said, before placing gentle kisses all over my sister's face.

She giggled at the heavy exaggerated voice I used and attempted to pull away.

"I need to go, Levi. I'll miss the bus." She said. I chuckled and let go, blowing another kiss to her.

"I love you, Rose. Take care and remember to call me." I said, smiling sweetly when she nodded her head violently.

Heavy footsteps sounded from behind me and my heart dropped. I forgot Asher was leaving too.

I turned my head and saw that it was indeed Asher who was walking towards us, followed by another set of scary footsteps.

"Rose!" Damien called from the garage, just as Asher stopped beside me.

"Coming." Rose said, softly and turned to Asher with a smile.

Asher smiled and leaned down to place lots of kisses on her face and said.

"Enough love?"

Rose laughed and moved forward to wrap her arms around his middle. She buried her face in his chest.

"Now it's enough." Came her muffled reply.

"Have fun, sweetheart. I love you and I will miss you," he said. He leaned down to place another kiss on her head before she pulled away.

"Do you have everything you need?" Lucian asked. He stepped forward just when Asher took a step back.

"Yes." Rose nodded. She started listing all the stuff that was needed. "Clothes, shoes, warm clothes, more warm clothes, phone, portable charger, your card which won't be needed and some books."

"What about bestie stuff?" I asked. she thought for a moment before she lifted her hand. Snapping her fingers, she gave me a thumbs up.

"I have everything," She declared, looking up at both of the brothers. Lucian nodded and moved forward.

He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead.

"I'll miss you. See you in four days," he said, before placing a kiss on her head again. He attempted to pull away when he was stopped. Asher nudged him a little.

"I love you," Lucian added, before letting go. A warm smile graced my twin's face as she nodded.

"I love you too, Lucian and I'll miss you too," she said.

"Rose," Damien sang it this time. "Will the princess grace me with her presence already?"

I stifled a laugh as Rose rushed to grab her bags. Lucian was quick to reach them before her and gathered all the stuff. He started walking to the garage with Rose following close behind.

I watched them leave then turned to Asher.

"You really don't have to go," I mumbled as I teared up instantly. I'm still hell bent on changing his mind.

"Let's not discuss that, Bunny," Asher said. He bent down to my level and smiled. "I just want enough love to last for four days."

"But-" I stopped when I felt a sob rake through my chest.

'Pathetic.'

"But?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Don't go, please," I mumbled, looking away from his eyes. I sniffled, which sent him into a state of panic.

"Bunny." He crouched down before me, putting both of his hands on the sides of my face. He entered my blurry vision and I couldn't stop anymore. A sob was heard and the next second, I found myself being held in his embrace, trapped tightly in his arms.

"What if I don't see you again?" I cried out, clutching his shirt in my fists tightly. The words flowed out on their own, so did the tears. I tried to stop both of them but couldn't.

"Hey. None of that sweetheart. I told you I'm going to return. To take my heart, if not for anything else," He repeated, kissing my head again and again.

"While I'm gone, my heart will stay here to give you both love and comfort. I'm going to miss my little hearts so much." Dad bent down to place kisses on our foreheads. I sniffled.

"But that's too long!" I whined.

"Two days, little heart," he said, booping my nose. He smiled reassuringly, but the tears in his eyes said it all.

"That's still too long," Rose mumbled from beside me. I nodded my head.

"Can we go too, please?" I begged clutching his shirt sleeve. Looking at him desperately, my fourteen year old childish self refused to let go.

"Dad has a very important work, sweetheart." He crouched down. "I don't like staying away from my little hearts either, but I have to go do this work."

I hiccuped and tugged at his shirt sleeve.

"Please." That's all I said, before my throat closed.

He sighed and pulled us into a hug. Turning his head to kiss my cheek, he tightened his hold. Doing the same to Rose, he sighed again.

"I really do have to go, babies," he said, pulling us closer. "I would've stayed if it was an option."

I just buried my head in his neck and sobbed, now clutching the hem of his hoodie, that I was wearing.

"I promise I will bring back lots of kisses."

He still owes me those kisses.

"Please Asher. I won't ask for anything else," I begged, pulling away to look up at him. "I swear, I will change and-"

I was shushed when he shook his head.

"There is a very important work in Russia, as I've told you before. Either Lucian goes or I do. I really have to go, sweetheart."

I sniffled and bit my lip to hold the sobs back.

There's no way out of this. He will have to go, because apparently Lucian has to stay home for us to bond.

I wiped my tears away harshly and pouted. He leaned forward to kiss my temple, while I kept staring at the floor.

"I really don't want to be away from you for so long either. But I have to." His voice started shaking as he reached the end. My gaze snapped up immediately. His eyes held a little moisture from the tears he was holding back.

He cleared his throat and spoke in a much steadier voice.

"But I promise I will call you every hour or two. I love you so much, Bunny. Please don't let this chance go to waste. Keep Lucian in line for me, so you two can be friends at least."

I nodded my head slowly and moved forward to wrap my arms around him again.

Burying my face into his chest, I took in a deep breath. His cologne, which calms my nerves usually, spiked them this time.

That dread settled in and the worry of never hugging him again, clawed at me from the inside.

But I kept it inside. There was nothing that could change his mind and I didn't have any control right now, just like most of the things happening after the last incident with Lucas.

"Did you find Bunny Junior?" He asked. His hand didn't stop its movement on my head, moving along my hair then back up.

"No," I mumbled. "I'll find him soon."

I'll have to if I want any comfort in Asher's absence.

"Alright. I hope he isn't too mad." He chuckled.

"Can I punch his smug face if he is?" I asked, shifting my head to look up, so my chin rested on his chest.

He furrowed his eyebrows.

"He isn't as smug as you think he is," he said.

"He is!" I exclaimed. "I got tickle punishment because of him and I had to share-"

I stopped before I embarrassed myself. Burying my face in his chest again, I cursed myself mentally.

"Share what?" Asher nudged me.

"Nothing," I said.

"Come on," He whined. "I can't live through the suspense."

I looked to find him pouting but a teasing look in his eyes. I narrowed my eyes.

He knows what I'm talking about.

"You know."

"No, I don't," He stated plainly, letting the smirk he was hiding before, come into full view. "If you tell me, I will bring lots of gifts back from this trip."

I perked up.

"Oh?" I asked. "What kind of gifts?"

"Clothes, shoes, anything," he said. Before I could say something, he added. "And stuffies. Ones that are not smug. Lots of them. You can ask for anything other than the stuffies."

I thought for a moment.

"Matching bracelets for all of us?" I asked. "And special ones for me and you and another pair for me and Rose."

A smile spread across his face and his expressions became warmer.

"That's sweet."

He forgot about the telling him part.

He kissed my forehead and attempted to pull away but I held him tight.

"I'm getting late, don't you think, sweetheart?"

"Maybe you will miss the flight," I mumbled, clutching onto him tighter.

"Too bad we have private jets," he said, in a mocking tone.

Rich people shit.

Forcefully pushing me away, he huffed slightly. When I attempted to curl back into his embrace, he clicked his tongue and held me back by his hands on my shoulders.

I pouted, watching him match my expressions.

"Listen to me very clearly, sweetheart," he began. "I really have to go. You will behave and try on your part. Lucian will behave and try on his part. I will return to two actual siblings and I will bring lots of candies, chocolates, stuffies, anything you want basically and the bracelets."

He listed everything slowly, making sure I was listening.

"I will be in contact throughout the day so I will know if any of you misbehaves." He raised an eyebrow. "Am I going to hear of anything other than 'we're doing as we're told'?"

I shook my head.

"I'll try my best," I said. I lifted my hand and showed my pinky finger to him. The hard expression in his eyes wavered and reduced to nothing as he stared at my finger.

He lifted his hand from my shoulder and wrapped his pinky finger around mine.

"The last point." I groaned when he said that.

Give me my sweet, warm, loving brother already!

"I love you with all my heart and I will miss you a lot." He put up his hand and started putting up one finger as he counted. "I want a goodbye hug, a goodbye kiss, at least two actually and a promise that you won't worry about me."

"I love you too and I won't worry," I said, quickly. Eager to get to the hugs and kisses part, I rushed that out and moved forward.

Wrapping my arms around him again, I hugged him tightly.

"I can't get enough of your hugs," he muttered, kissing my head. I picked my head up from his chest and leaned up to kiss his cheeks.

Ignoring the moisture in my eyes, I pulled away. I pouted as he stood up. Helping me stand he bent down to my level.

"I love you," he said again.

"I love you too," I mumbled, resisting the urge to hug him again. He won't be able to go if we keep hugging.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I moved forward but stopped when I felt his finger poking my forehead. Asher clicked his tongue.

"Nuh uh. I won't be able to leave if you keep doing this."

I stepped back again. Dang. It shouldn't have failed.

Asher stood up straight and adjusted his coat. He grabbed his bag from where he dumped it when he first came downstairs.

I shook my head as the dread increased with every step he took towards the door. He opened the door and turned to face me.

Waving his hand once he threw a flying kiss towards me, before stepping out and closing the door softly.

I released a breath and wiped my tears at my shirt sleeve.

I don't feel good.

"You have a date with Damien." I turned around abruptly when the scary voice cut through the silence.

"I do?" I asked, turning around. Lucian frowned as he looked down at my face.

He nodded.

"Yes. The cool date he was talking about," he clarified.

My eyes widened.

"Did Asher give permission?"

I closed my mouth quickly and gulped when Lucian's eyebrow twitched at the question.

I don't think Asher will like it if I go with Damien instead of spending time with Lucian as he asked me to do.

Lucian let out a long sigh.

"Yes," he said. There was a slight annoyance in his voice as he spoke. "Asher himself asked Damien to take you to that date before he leaves for work tomorrow."

I could tell he was trying hard not to grit his teeth as he spoke that, clearly annoyed at the lack of authority he must be feeling.

"Okay," I said, quietly. I lowered my gaze and tried to skip away from there.

Surprisingly I was successful in the task. Walking past Lucian, I started rushing up the stairs to go get ready quickly.

This new-found information had lifted my mood considerably. I was really really excited for this date. If it is as cool as Damien says it is, he might as well earn some love by the end of this day.

With my hands on my hips, I stood inside the closet. My eyes flicked from one thing to another as I contemplated what to wear.

"Something cool for a cool date?" I mumbled, looking around the closet.

I started picking out stuff from my side of the closet, but nothing seemed to be attracting to me.

I really need Rose right now. She'd take less than a moment to pick out an outfit.

I sighed and slid against the wall with a pout on my lips. Should I call her?

I shook my head quickly. I can't keep bothering her with things so small. I should make a decision as I've been doing.

I nodded to myself and was about to stand up when a voice cut through the silence.

'Pathetic little bitch.'

I froze and slumped back against the drawers behind me.

'Can't even make a decision so small? Weren't you the entitled decision maker some days ago? Or have you become the pet dog now?'

I closed my eyes and shook my head. Ignore it.

'Doesn't it feel lonely? With no one around. No one wants you around.'

It's for my own good.

'Taking a break from a pathetic bitch is good for them.'

Maybe.

'Maybe they want you to not exist for some days or maybe forever.'

That's not true.

'Who wants bad luck? You killed Dad. They know it. The balcony is pretty high.'

I shook my head violently, trying to shake it off. My hand moved on their own and slid into the pocket of my sweatpants.

Taking my phone out with a shaky hand, I let out a sniffle. My thumb hovered over Asher's contact.

I shook my head and wiped my shirt sleeve on my cheeks. I can't call him so soon. He'll get stressed.

Nico?

I put the phone to my ear. My heart rate picked up as I waited for him to pick up the call.

"Hey, love."

I released a breath and cleared my throat.

I really wanted to just make small talk and hang up. But at the same time, I wanted to tell everything.

"Hey Muffin," I said, after a while of silence.

Silence followed which made me anxious.

"Are you okay, Bunny?" Beau asked. His voice had a little bit of worry in it.

"Is Nico around?" I asked.

"The littlest puppy is throwing a tantrum. He's gone to check on him," he said. "That's why I picked up. Is it urgent?"

"No. It's not," I mumbled, tracing patterns on my leg with the tip of my index finger.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, softly.

"I don't know," I said. I teared up again but managed to keep my voice from shaking. "It's not serious."

He sighed audibly, before he started speaking in an even softer voice.

"Sharing the weight is easier. If something is weighing down on your heart, you need to tell it to somebody so its easier to remove that weight."

"It's telling me stuff," I mumbled. I bit my lip when a sob threatened to escape my mouth.

"What did it say?" He asked.

"That they're avoiding me," I said, quietly.

"We both know that's not true." He said.

"What if it is?" I asked. "I keep stressing them out. Who wants to handle that extra burden?"

I sniffled and wiped the tears with my shaky hands again.

"No you don't." He said. "You're our sister, Bunny. How can you be a burden? Family isn't burden."

Before I could respond, I heard him murmuring something.

"Muffin?" I asked.

"Nico is here, Honey. I'm passing the phone to him," he said.

I waited for a moment before Nico spoke. No greetings, nothing. He dived into his rant right away.

"This little puppy brat is in severe need of discipline. I scolded him for stealing my cookies again and he had the audacity to throw a tantrum. He refused to eat anything that was not cookies," he said. "Should I put him in timeout or take away his toys?"

"Don't you dare, stinky," I gritted. "Don't even think about putting the baby through that torture."

"And what if I do?" He mocked.

"Then I will-" I stopped. What will I even do to this man?

"I will kidnap all of the puppies and tell Lucian you were being a meanie," I said.

"Aww," he said. His tone screamed that he was pouting. "I'm going to put a timeout box in their playroom."

"Do that. I dare you," I mumbled. Why is he being so mean to the babies?

He just chuckled in response, annoying me further.

"Listen, stinky butt. If you can't handle the pups, say it. I'm more than happy to sneak them into my home and go through whatever sentence my guardian announces after."

Another chuckle rang though the phone, making me want to throw it at a wall.

"The puppies love you too," he spoke softly. "They can't wait to meet you again."

"Are you having mood swings?" I asked. He went from annoying to sweet real fast.

"That's a therapist's way, Bunny," he said, before making his voice high pitched to make it sound like a baby voice. "Little babies like you won't get this smart stuff."

"I'm your sister." I deadpanned. "Tell me!"

My voice grew whiny and demanding while saying the last two words.

"Oh dang. Now I'll have to tell you," he said. I stayed silent, waiting for the answer.

"I just got a little of your frustration out," he said, softly. "And got your mind out of that overwhelmed state so you can think more clearly and understand the situation from your point of view, not from that bitch's point of view."

That caused a rush of thoughts into my mind, reminding me of why I called in the first place.
