"jahsehs in trouble" I said jumping up "how do you know?" Stokeley said "my instincts" I said opening the door and running downstairs with stokeley following behind me where is he? Hes at the motorcycle shop 10 minutes away. What's the fastest route to get there? "Downloading now" Me and stokeley got in the car and I raced down the back road to get to the shop.
"Please jahseh, please be ok" stokeley mumbled under his breath "he's gonna be just fine I know he is" I grabbed his hand reassuringly

"We got out of the car and ran inside
"Excuse me was this boy here?" I asked showing the man a picture "yes, he just left actually" he said pointing to jahs car we pushed the door open and sprinted to jahs car "JAHSEH" I yelled "JAH" stokeley yelled jah opened his door "why are y'all niggas runnin?" Jah said coming out of his car "NO DUCK GET BACK IN" i yelled stokeley and I ran into his car, and Stokeley put a shield around it.
Bullets we're flying from every angle. "Jersey how the fuck did you know?" Stokeley asked "I I don't know" "maybe it's a new ability" I said "new ability? What the fuck are yall niggas talkin bout?" Jah asked freaking out "nothing" we both said quickly "ok stokeley I'm gonna go take care of these bastards keep the shield up around jahs car ok" "don't le-" "I have to stop them stokeley" I said kissing his lips "I love you" "I love you too" he said. I got out of the car and made a shield around me.
"Who the hell is this chick?" Someone yelled still shooting stokeley release a sonic wave BUT CONTROL IT so you don't kill jah or break his car windows "message sent" "aight" he said. I covered my ears while he let it out. "What the fuck is that" one of them yelled falling. There were 6 of them I ran to one of them and kicked him in his chest, and he stumbled backwards.

He swung, but I ducked and shattered his knee. He groaned in agony and tried to swing again, so I did the same to his other knee. "The next 3 came up to me at the same time and huddled around me I used my telekinesis to push them all back, and they flew into the windshield of people's cars. "Jeez ever heard of personal space" I said popping my back. 2 of them got up and tried running away, but I picked up one of their guns and shot one of them in the head, and the other in the leg.
I started walking up to him and he tried scooting away with his arm "hey where you goin man "I just wanna talk" I said smiling evilly "get away from me" he said moving away "I'm good" I said towering over him "who sent you" I asked "I'd rather die then tell you shit" he said. I shot him in his other leg.
He yelled loudly "speak now or the next ones going in your stomach" I pointed it at his stomach. "Ok ok I'll talk" he said "his name is Ryan" "RYAN WHAT" I yelled "Ryan Higgins" "IM SORRY HE SAID HE WAS GONNA KILL MY KIDS" he said covering his face. "Im so sorry" I said dropping the gun. "I'll kill him for you ok trust me that" I said he moved his hand and slowly nodded. I looked up and noticed that people were recording us so I ran looking only at the ground.
"Who are you" a random person asked taking pictures of me. "GET THAT MAN TO THE HOSPITAL" i said shoving the camera man away. I covered my face there was paparazzi everywhere I couldn't take it all the lights, all the people. I raised up my hand toward a reporter to use my power against them but when I did, stokeley grabbed my hand "No Jersey" he said "IS THAT SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD?" "Shit" he mumbled "let's go" he said pulling me to jahs car "meet us back at the house vro" stokeley said to jah "alright" they dapped each other up and he drove off.

Stokeley and I ran to the car we made it in just in time. They surround my car banging on the window. I started breathing heavily and putting my hands on my head "Jersey it's ok calm down" he said grabbing my hand "I'm gonna run these bitches over stokeley" I said putting my hand in the stick shift and reversing "be careful Jersey" he said. I got out of the parking lot and sped off into the street.

When the first derelict alien spacecraft fell to Earth, humanity took what was found in it and propelled themselves to new heights. In their new Golden Age, humanity developed technology that they had only dreamed about. The following years saw hundreds more ships crash into the planet, spurring even greater technological leaps. An unassuming spacecraft, one of the dozens that fell yearly, descended on Siberia in 2021. The world took no particular notice of it. However, this one contained something beyond the miraculous technology that had made humans so prosperous. Three years later, in a top-secret underground facility in eastern Colorado, the automated construction of an army of Paladin Mobile Infantry Suits was underway. With this new, state-of-the-art weaponry, the military would turn the tide against the alien incursion that was consuming the planet. Humanity fell before that could happen. Sam was an engineer responsible for overseeing the facility. Now alone, he lives in utter boredom and near insanity, his only company the base’s pseudo AI and an army of empty Paladins. With the world gone to hell around him, and the things that caused it still living above, he decides that he is much better off staying exactly where he is. Unfortunately for him, that is no longer an option. This is the first novel I've written. The first fifteen or so chapters are going to be a little slower. I want there to be time to get to know the characters before they start blowing stuff up. Also, though the MC will be strong relative to the world, he won't be OP, and won't win every fight. Not every fight will be physical either. Currently, I'm aiming for something like 5 fairly short chapters a week, after the introduction part is done, but we'll see how that goes. A city filled with many people and buildings that even the streets can't fit a car is where Aki, our main protagonist, and his unit, will start their adventure to save the remaining people from a crisis.

However, when Soletus’s resolve to help starts to waiver, Mien does something unexpected and Soletus decides that the boy deserves a second chance not as an act of duty but as a friend. Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it. Now she has to figure out her future in ways she never thought she would. I'm going for a Tues and Thurs day schedule for the re-upload. I may or may not stick in extra days.
