Hey, I'm Billie, I'm almost eighteen and I just moved to Florida from LA. I guess I should introduce myself so that's that. Here's a catch, I haven't dated or been around many boys since I was fifteen. We'll get into that later though.

Honestly, I already feel that so much has been taken from me and it has traumatized me to the point that I am afraid of everything and everyone besides my mother and father.

My mom comes in behind me with a few more boxes full of kitchen supplies, "That should be the last of it besides what's on the moving truck for your room, I think that should get here on Monday."

I nod keeping my eyes on her, "When do I have to start online again?"

"I believe only every other Wednesday, they're just check ins," She mentions, "I made sure it'd be okay with the school first too."

"Thank you m-" Before I could finish my sentence I heard a knock at the door and I look at my mom.

"Do you mind getting it while I start dinner?" She looks at me.

"No not a-at all." I go over to the door and open it revealing a man, he pointed towards our driveway.

"That's your car right? The trunk is open, I thought as a neighbor I'd let you know," He pauses for a moment looking at me. "I'm Stokeley by the way, some call me Ski."

I look at him hesitantly, "Thank you for telling me, I'll shut it,"

He tilts his head in a curious way, he seemed interested in me speaking but I had cut the conversation short. "I mean I don't mind closing it if it saves you any trouble?"

"Yeah, right, if it isn't an issue I don't mind," I look down from him, "I appreciate that."

"I'll see you around then?" He looks in my eyes for a second.

"See you," I shut the door slowly.

"Billie? Who was it?" My mom questions from the kitchen.
