Sierra's pov

"Yeah just follow my car" Veronica said to Aaron. School just finished and we were all about to leave to go to her house. Once we got into her car we started singing Karoke to some of our favourite songs. After a few more minutes we pulled up in her driveway. Veronica is rich everyone knows that but she never shows it unlike Rachel. Her house was surrounded by three other houses which were massive just like hers. We got out of the car and made our way into her house.

"Should I order a pizza?" She asked. The boys like the hungry hippos they were all immediately agreed with her making me roll my eyes. While she ordered the pizza the rest of us lounged in her living room.

"So i've no idea when I should have told you guys but..." Justin started

"But what?" Steph asked

"I have a girlfriend" he blurted out

"Oh My God no way!" I screamed. I jumped up from seat and gave him a hug. "Who's the lucky girl?" I smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Well she doesn't go to our school. She goes to crestview high. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She's around the same height as Steph" he described

"So when do we get to meet her?" I asked

"Very soon" was he answer.

Veronica walked back into the room and flopped down onto the couch beside Josh. She snuggled into his side and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder "What did I miss?" She asked.

"Justin is finally in a relationship" Josh smirked

"Wait really? Who?" and then Justin began to reexplain to Veronica what she looks like.

"Sierra, Steph can you both come with me for a second please?" Veronica asked. I looked at Steph and then back at Veronica

"Why?" I asked

"No questions just follow me" she said "I'll be back in a few babe" and pecked Josh's lips.

The three of us followed her to wherever she was taking us leaving just the boys in the living room. I then realised she was taking us up to her room. Veronica's room has always been my dream room. When you open the door you immediately see her queen size bed on the opposite wall with a grey velvet headboard. Next to her bed was a door that led to her walk in closet. Opposite her bed was a door that led to a small balcony overlooking her front yard. Beside that was her vanity that had all her makeup and hair products.

"What do you need us for?" I asked

"Uhhh I need to ask you both a question" she said and jumped onto her bed. "But first Sierra I need you to get my jumper in closet. It's freezing in here"

"What? Why can't you do it" I groaned

"I'm already comfortable" she said pointing to her herself. I rolled my eyes and opened the door to her closet. Once I opened it I switched on the light so I could see better. I then realised I had no idea what jumper to get her.

"Hey Veronica which jumper do you want?" I shouted. No response. "Veronica!?" I shouted again. When I was met with silence I walked out but both Steph and Veronica were gone.

"What the hell?" I muttered. "Stop playing hide and seek with me!" I yelled. When nobody I answered I heaved a sigh "for fucks sake"

All of a sudden her door flung open and I saw Justin and Josh throw Aaron into the room making him land with a huge thud on the floor. "Son of a bitch" he growled.

What the hell is going on?

Before I even had time to react the door slammed shut. "Lock it before they open it" Steph gritted

"I'm trying" Veronica growled back. My eyes widened when I realised what was happening. I quickly ran to the door but I was too late. I heard the door click into place.

"LET US OUT NOW!" I screamed banging on the door.

"No! You and Aaron have been avoiding each other for the last week and it's making the group very uncomfortable. We will let you out once you guys sort things out and hunny trust me if it takes you all weekend to do so then so be it!" Veronica yelled back. I then heard them walk away from the door and down the stairs.

"Veronica! Guys! Get back here right now!" I screamed but all I could hear was the faint sound of their footsteps.

"There not going to come back until we make up" he said. His voice was rough. I turned around and watched as he picked himself off from the floor and and sat on the edge of Veronica's bed. I sighed in defeat and sat on the floor, pressing my back against the door. We sat in silence for a moment until he spoke. "How about we just talk this out. We both say what we have to say to each other ok?" He stared at me for an answer. I simply just nodded my head in agreement.

"I know what I did was unacceptable and wrong. There is no denying that. When I made that bet I didn't know I was going to fall for you. When I first met you I thought it would just be tutoring nothing less and nothing more. To be honest I'm not the type of a guy to place a bet on a girl. Ask anyone. Yeah I've fucked many of them but I've never put a bet on a girl and I really don't know why I did. I was stupid but If there's one thing I want you to get from all of this it's that once we got together I never once thought about that stupid bet. I wasn't thinking about that bet when I asked you out on a date. I wasn't thinking about that bet when I asked you to be my girlfriend. I wasn't thinking about that bet when I gave you that necklace and certainly not when I took your virginity. When you told me that Rachel knew something I did have a gut feeling it was because of the bet. I immediately texted the guys and they told me I should tell you and I was going to. You can look at my messages if you want if you don't believe me. The only reason I didn't want to tell you there and then was because it was the week before your birthday and I didn't want you to be upset. The following week Rachel beat me to it and told you instead. Listen I'm not trying to justify myself because I know what I did but everyone makes mistakes no matter how big and small they are and like I said I'm sorry"

My gaze fell from him to my shoes. "You're turn" he whispered. I needed air. I sighed and got up. I made my way over to her balcony and leaned over it. I think he got the hint because he followed after me and stood beside me. I let out a breath and looked up at the sky.

"I'm not mad at you because of the bet Aaron. Originally I was because I felt like you were only with me to prove to your friends you could get with anybody. I felt dumb and stupid. However I did realise it was before we even properly talked. I was mostly upset that you kept it away from me and that I had to find out from your ex girlfriend instead of you. I admit I never stopped loving you. How could I? But for me to get back together with you is a long shot but I'm willing to try again" I then turned to him. "I- I want-no I need to be able to trust you again so we are going to do this my way. We can take this slow until I feel ready"

He smiled at me and nodded. "I can live with that"

"Friends?" I said

"Friends" he repeated. "I promise I won't let you down" he smiled

"Ok well we should probably tell them then" I said pointing to inside Veronica's room. We walked in and Aaron started banging on the door.

"Yo open the door!" He yelled

We heard multiple footsteps pad towards the door. "Have you guys made up?" Josh asked

"Yes now open the door" Aaron said. After a few seconds we heard the door unlock and open.

We were about to step out when Justin stopped us. "Wait what if they're lying"

"Hmmm Yeah you're right" Veronica said squinting her eyes at us. "Hug" She said.

I turned to Aaron who was already looking at me. "Friends hug right?" He said

"Yeah it's normal" I shrugged. He took a step closer to me and wrapped his hands around my waist. I immediately placed my hands around the the back of his neck, enjoying his warm embrace. I buried my face in the crook of his neck making the smell of his aftershave hit my nose. His grip on my tightened and I instantly did the same.

"Ok we get it you're friends" Steph laughed. I was the first to break physical contact.

"Yeah just friends" He breathed but there was something distant in his voice
