Aaron's pov (Christmas day)
It was finally Christmas Day, my favourite time of year. It was only 10 o'clock and I could already head my mom cooking in the kitchen. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and started texting Sierra.
Me- Merry Christmas beautiful
My girl- Merry Christmas baby. I can't wait to come over later
Me- I can't wait to see your fine ass too
My girl- Jokes on you I was talking about meeting your dad
Me- you don't want to see me😥
My girl- ok fine I want to see you too. You can stop crying now you big baby
Me- You're wrong I'm not a big baby, but I am big somewhere else😉
My girl- and that's my queue to leave. I'll see you later
I laughed and threw my phone on my bed. Sierra and her family won't be coming over until around one pm so I had time to get ready.
Usually my showers don't take long but due to my injuries they have been extra long as it is hard to move, especially with a cast on. After my shower I got dressed in a white button up and black jeans. I made my way downstairs to find my mom baking cookies and my dad was somewhat trying to help her.
I watched as my mom was laughing at my dad who got some of the chocolate mixture all over his shirt. This is what my parents were like before but ever since my dad got a job in New York we never see him as much.
"Merry Christmas" I said walking over to the counter where there was bacon on a plate.
"Oh you're up and Merry Christmas too darling. Do you mind setting the table and after put on some Christmas music? Sierra and her parents will be here in less than hour" my mom asked attempting to wipe the chocolate stain of my dads shirt
"Yeah sure and dad you're as clumsy as you were before you left for New York" I laughed

"Baking is not really my forte"
"Anything to do with ingredients isn't your forte, Charles" my mom commented
I laughed shaking my head and left them to their own thing. I set the table and after I turned on some Christmas music.
I decided to wait in the living room and passed time by watching tv. After 45 minutes I heard a soft knock at the door. I immediately knew who it was.
"I'll get it!" I shouted. I made my way towards the door but before opening it I quickly straightened out my shirt and ran my hands through my hair because I knew Sierra loved it on me. I opened the door and she instantly caught my eyes. She was wearing a red, off the shoulder dress which came up to her mid thing. It looked great against her tan skin. Her hair was perfectly curled and was wearing the right amount of makeup. She looked stunning to say the least. In her left hand were a bunch of gift bags.
"Hey Merry Christmas" she smiled leaning up to give me a hug. Her vanilla scent immediately filled my nose.
"God you get more and more beautiful each day" I whispered in her ear making her giggle. She pulled away and stood beside me.
"Merry Christmas Mrs Davis" I greeted politely.
"Same to you and please Call me Catherine" she said. At that moment my parents came out from the kitchen and welcomed Sierras mom. We all gathered in the living room where music was softly playing in the background.
My parents and Sierras mom sat on the couch while me and Sierra sat on the love seat which was next to the fire.
"Mr Lee it nice to finally meet you" Sierra said.
"It's nice to meet you too. I hope Aaron is treating you well" my dad replied taking a sip of his wine.
"Don't worry mr Lee, your son is the best boyfriend I've ever had" she smiled taking my hand in hers.
"You must be a special one. Now that I think about it Aaron has never brought a girl home for me to meet" my dad pointed out.

"She's the first girl I've actually seen a future with" I say looking down at her. I watched her eyes widen with surprise at my remark.
"Wait really?!" She asked surprised
"Ok lovebirds how about we open some presents?" My mom asked. We all agreed and gathered by the Christmas tree.
10 minutes later
"Ok my turn" Sierra said. She handed my mom a rectangular shaped present wrapped in gold.
"Oh dear you didn't have to" my mom smiled. She opened the gift and gasped.
"I remember you telling me how much you love Gordon Ramsay's cooking so I thought why not get you one of his cookbooks" Sierra said.
"I love it thank you dear" my mom thanked. She also got her mom a voucher for a spa treatment.
"Last but certainly not least" she smiled turning to me. "Here" She handed me a white envelope with my name written in her neat handwriting. I had to do a double take when I saw what was enclosed in it.
"Holy shit Sierra!" I yelled.
"What is it?" I heard my mom ask
"She got me ice hockey tickets to the game in New York" I said in disbelief
"Do you like it?" She asked nervously
"Like it? I love it and you even got me front row seats. These are expensive how did you-" I started saying but was cut off.
"That doesn't matter. I got you two tickets so you and your dad could see it together so consider it my gift to you too Mr Lee" she explained
"Thank you Sierra and call me Charles"
"Yeah thank you. I love it" I said and gently kissed her on the lips. "I guess I should give you you're present too" I said. I got and rounded the tree to grab her present. I walked back over to her and handed it over.
She smiled as she began opening the box.
"Oh my God" she whispered. She pulled the necklace out of the box and dangled it in front of her face. I got her a love heart shaped necklace with the first letters of names engraved.
"Turn it over" I said. On the back was the date of when we started dating.
"Oh Aaron I love it" she smiled. "Help me put it on?" She asked. I took the necklace out from her hands. She lifted her long locks of hair, giving me access to her neck. After I clipped it on she turned around and wrapped her arms around my neck.
"Remember when we were like that?" my mom asked my dad smiling at us like crazy
"Sure do" he smiled back
"The necklace is a two set. It actually comes with a keychain" I said. I took out my keys which had the keychain I was talking about on it. It also had our initials and the date on it.
"This is literally the cutest thing ever! Thank you"
We continued talking and eating for the remainder of the day just enjoying Christmas. Our parents were talking about something they head on the news the other day
"Wanna go upstairs?" I asked her. "Yeah I can't stand this boring talk" she laughed.
"Don't close the door fully!" I heard my mom call out after us as we walked up the stairs. She took off her shoes and then jumped into my bed. She has definitely become way to comfortable around me then before and I loved that.
"Hey Sierra on a serious note, how come you're dad never came?" I asked. I was confused when it was only herself and her mom that showed up. I didn't want to ask anything just yet but now that it was only the two of us I thought why not. I watched as her gaze lowered.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have-"I started
"My dad is dead" she blurted out
