“Lex! You ready?!”

“Comming!” I call running out of my room after grabbing something to cover my bare arms and shoulders to keep me warm and hurry towards the stairs where my brothers are waiting...

“Move your arse or we’ll go without ya!” That was Evan shouting up the stairs....

“I’m coming! Keep your wig on!” I shout back running down the stairs getting nearer and I hear a light chuckle in return to what I said...

“AH! Finally!”

I roll my eyes as I appear at the top of the stairs, my brothers gathered at the bottom all waiting....oops...didn’t realise I was the last one....

Shrugging on my cardigan, yes I’m wearing a cardigan, which I didn’t even know I had...but it will do, over a white top with a black heart on the front with a pair of black skinny jeans and some white converses.....why am I the last one? Because I didn’t know what to wear...which is strange because I normally don’t really care and throw on the first thing that I find...but today....it seems different....

“Come on baby girl! We’re getting old here!” Blake calls and I crack a small smile and giggle, hurrying down the stairs...

“I’m here...” I smile up at them, pushing my arm through the sleeve of the cardigan as I reach the last steps...

“Great! Come on let’s go!” Chris pulls open the door, being the first one out...

I chuckle lightly and Blake wraps an arm over my shoulder, turning me towards the door.....

“LEXXIIII!”

I freeze, and a smile coming to my face as I hear the voice of my little brother....

Turning around I see the four year old charging down the hall way towards me...

Smiling I couch down to his level, just in time to catch him in my arms as he runs into them, giggling a little as I swing him around standing back up, lifting him up with me

“Hey there trouble...” I chuckle, blowing a kiss on his cheek, causing him to giggle again, muzzling his head into my shoulder and holding onto me.....

“Where you gowin?” He mumbles into my shoulder, and I smile sadly, knowing he knows where I’m going and that he wants to come...

“Oh hun you know where I’m going...” I smile lightly turning my head down to his “But don’t worry Tom, I’m taking you tomorrow...” I place a kiss on his forehead and see his eyes lighten up and he lifts his head up from my shoulder...

“Rweally?!”

I chuckle nodding my head “Yup...” I bend down, placing him back on the floor by stay at his level “Me, you, the twins, mommy and whoever else wants to come, are going tomorrow” I smile at his beaming face and he grins...

I ruffle his hair, seeing my mom appear at the kitchen doorway, I smile “I’ll see you tomorrow Tommy” I give him a quick kiss on the cheek before standing back up and mom walks forward.

“Yeah, see you later buddy!” Blake smiles, ruffling Tom’s hair as well, before mom comes up standing behind him...

Feeling a tug on my arm, I give my mom a smile “Bye mom!” I manage to say before I’m pulled towards the door, the other boys shouting out their bye’s aswell...

“Be careful!...look after Lexi!” I hear my mother call after us and I roll my eyes ....typical...

“Of course mom!...see you!”

And with another wave and seeing the sad look on my baby brother’s face....we all cram into the car’s....heading towards town...

Because we are about to head to this fair, that’s in town...and all that I’m expecting really are some fun fair rides and stalls.....but I’m excited to see for myself....

And with the boys, it’s bound to be fun.

Wow...

Is the first thought coming to mind as my eyes take in the whole scene and atmosphere as we finally reach the centre of town, the whole place lit up with bright colourful lights covering the darkening sky, the sounds of people’s enjoyment echoing through the air aswell as the thudding beat of fair ground music....

A smile tugs at my lips and I excitedly tug on Blake’s hand......yeah, maybe feeling a little like a little kid...but eek!....I haven’t been to something like this...

I hear Blake chuckle lightly, but I ignore him continuing to gawk around at my surroundings, with everywhere you look there’s people, walking around or stood in groups, all of which seem to be mostly around are age, obviously this is the time to come I guess.....

“Ooh...Lexi! I’m defiantly getting you on that!” Chris suddenly shouts out, smirking and pouting towards something, which I follow to see the top of a very high ride...

I smirk “You betcha!” I glance to him and he winks at me...even though not knowing exactly what ride it is, only knowing it’s high, but I will go on it, from the look Chris is giving me, I’ll go on anything to beat him, and to get that smug looking expression of his face...gosh! Always competitive...

“Come on, come on! Let’s goo!” I chuckle at Evan’s childlike behaviour and he pushes us forward slightly, quicken our past as we approach the entrance, my own excitement bubbling and see how Evan’s acting like this too...

I gaze up, keeping with the same smile across my face as I gawk at the many rides standing tall, one catching my eye that I definitely want to go on tonight as I remember from when I was little, the big metal circle high above, with bright lights different colours lighting it up......a Ferris wheel....

“So, so! Where to first?!” Evan asks grinning and turning to face us, standing in the middle of a crowd of people entering this place....

I glance around me, scanning people’s heads and squint, pulling out my phone “Well...I gotta meet some people..” I mumble, hoping to receive a text from Charlie any moment now...

“Who?” Evan demands suddenly, a frown on his face, his happy mood suddenly dropping...

I raise an eyebrow at him...”My friends...” I say slowly “you know.....like Charlie?” I say talking as if he’s a child and I see his frown disappear...

“Oh...right...”

I roll my eyes at him looking back to my phone....

“Well.....Seth!....” Chris places his hand on Seth’s shoulder “you stay with Lex right?...” he looks to him and he nods looking to me as I slightly frown

“Good, cus don’t want Lex getting lost now do we...” Blake slings an arm over my shoulder hugging me slightly, but I still have a small frown on my face....

“Yeah....soo you go...meet up with your....friends Lexi...” Chris smirks as he says this glancing to me “And we’ll catch you later....cus well....you know, you obviously want to be with them more than you wanna be with us...your own brothers!...flesh and blood!...but yeah....that’s okay!”

I roll my eyes again at his dramatic ‘speech’, joking with fake hurt...

“Yeah right, that’s it...” I reply sarcastically, hearing a chuckle from Blake as I do....

“Hurtful!” Evan gasps, clutching his chest in a mockingly way and I roll my eyes again...

“Naa......go on Lex, Seth...we’ll catch you later...” Blake says, giving us a small smile and patting my back “Just look after her bro...” he says giving Seth a look

“Course...” He nods stepping to my side, and I bit my lip....slightly feeling a little....awkward? Around him as of the other day, but only a bit...because that was the last time we talked....

“Okay....see you later..” he gives me a quick kiss on my hair, giving Seth another quick ‘look’ before allowing us to go, after Chris and Evan give us a wave....and then they too turn away, obviously going to meet up with some of their new found friends.....

Sighing silently, I turn back around, starting to walk with Seth by my side, hands stuffed in his trouser pockets...

“So...where you meeting them?” Seth asks as we walk through the crowd of people, getting squished between them and I feel Seth grabbing my arm and keeping me close to him so I don’t get lost in the crowd probably.....

“Urm...by the big tent thing..” I say pointing up over towards the blue and red striped top of a tent thing, that has something inside obviously, which I don’t know what but am intrigued to find out...

Nodding, Seth heads in that direction, keeping me close by him as we weave in and out of people, there’s so many people here...it brings back memories from the other night at that house party.....

Shaking my head, I scan my eyes across the dozen of heads as we approach the tent like thing, trying to spot those three familiar heads that I’m looking for....

“HEY! HEY! LEXI!” spinning around I see the familiar brunette headed girl rushing towards me.

A smile spreads across my face and I step away from Seth, greeting my friend in a hug as she basically charges at me, reminding me a little of how Tom did earlier on...

“Charlie!” I smile giving her a tight hug before she pulls away, and then I’m grabbed in another hug, from a familiar red head

“Hey Abby” She grins at me as she pulls back, and I see another familiar blonde behind her...

“Hey Lexi...” Nathan gives me a gentle smile, and I grin, grabbing him in a hug aswell...

“Hi Seth!” Charlie chirps grabbing my twin to a tight hug causing me to smirk slightly at the surprised face of Seth as he gets attacked by two of my friends in a hug, followed by a friendly nod by Nathan...

“Hey...” Seth replies with a small smile....being friendly no matter what, as that’s just him....

Practically bouncing in excitement, Charlie grabs my hand beaming, now she is like a little kid at a sweet store...

“Come on!” she tugs at my hand “I’ve waited all year for this! And I’m going to get you on every ride! No matter what!” she grins..

Chuckling, I allow her to pull me away, and the others alongside, pushing through the crowd that seems to becoming busier and busier by the minute....but I don’t mind...because it seems to just add to the effect of this whole night...

“Come on then...” I grin “let’s get moving...”

And with that, we head straight towards one good looking ride, intending to go straight on it....

Tonight’s going to be fun....

“Ooh...candy floss!”

“No, wait! Popcorn!”

“Ooh...noo...hot dog!”

“Ah....ice cream!”

“Does it matter! Just pick one!” I roll my eyes lightly amused as I watch Charlie and Abby arguing over what to buy and not deciding on one thing, as there’s obviously too much to chose from..

“I can’t!” Charlie groans slumping, her head in her hands “There’s too much...”

I smirk from sitting on the opposite side of the bench from her, Abby and Nathan that side too and Seth next to me, as we’re on a bench with food stalls around us aswell as other benches, the whole place lit up from tall street light lights things that have been put here for this reason....

“Here...I’ll decide for you..” I say, placing my own food – a small box of popcorn on the table and look up towards the other stalls...squinting my eyes as I decide....

“Ice cream...” I finally say nodding, looking back to Charlie “get some ice cream” I tell her, popping a piece of popcorn into my mouth...

Charlie raises her head, “Hmm....” She thinks about for a moment... “Alright then!” She grins jumping up from the bench, “Abs! Come on, let’s get some fooodd!” and with that she drags Abby away, joining the queue at the Ice cream stall..

I chuckle to myself, before looking down to the popcorn in the box, taking out a few more pieces to eat...

I look across to Nathan and offer him some popcorn, which he takes a few with a smile in thanks, and I also offer some to Seth, but he declines, shaking his head...

Shrugging, I go back to eating, looking up to everything going on around us..

It’s got darker, as in night time dark, but the place is filled with lights that it’s hard to tell to be honest, and it seems like we’ve actually been here for a ages, but I think it’s only been just over an hour, and in that time, Charlie has dragged us to loads of the rides here, some of which going on more than once, but they’ve all been fun and even Seth seemed to loosen up a bit while on the.. but has gone back to how he was before now...

Hmmm.....

Shifting position on the bench slightly, so I have a better few of the two boys sat here, Seth with his head down looking at his phone and Nathan staring off in the distance, looking as if he’s thinking about something...

Swallowing the piece of popcorn in my mouth, I bit the inside of my cheek as I pick out another piece, turning towards them...and aim the popcorn towards Nathan......

I flick the piece of popcorn in his direction, a smirk tugging at my lips as it hits him on the side of the head...

Blinking, he frowns, and looks down, before looking up towards me with a suspicious look...

I just chuckle to myself, smirking innocently and munch on another piece of popcorn, seeing from the corner of my eye Nathan frown once more, before adverting his eyes back to what he was looking at before....

Biting my lip to hold back a smirk, I take out another piece of popcorn, aiming it again at him....

Letting out an accidental little quiet laugh as I flick the popcorn at his head again, I duck my head, hiding my smirk...

But with feeling eyes on me, I look up to see Nathan’s gaze looking right at me and I grin again at him, seeing him shake his head in amusement with a small smile on his face....

Clearing my throat, I shift position again, getting Nathan’s attention and I nod my head towards my brother, who seems soo interested in his phone as he fingers run over the buttons...

Nathan smirks as he gets what I’m saying, and I turn my body so I have a good shot at my brother....

And with flicking the piece of popcorn at his blonde hair I smirk waiting for his reaction.....but I frown as I don’t get one, and the popcorn bounces of his head, falling to the ground..

Rolling my eyes I take out another piece, whatever he’s doing on his phone must be important to not feel that popcorn hitting his head...

I flick another piece, smirking as it hits his forehead and I hold back a laugh as I see him twitch, and his blue eyes flick towards me...

Tilting my head at him, he just frowns and goes back to looking at his phone.

God!.....someone’s seriously grumpy...

Sharing a look with Nathan as he watches in amusement, I take out another piece, and another...continuing to flick the pieces of popcorn one by one at his head....

OOooh...this is fun! Why Have I never tried it before!

I can tell he’s trying to ignore it, because that frown increases as he stares intently at his phone.....ehe! he’s going to crack soon!

I turn on the bench, so I’m facing him properly, with a leg each side of the bench and take a handful of popcorn, and continue to flick each bit at his head....

“Would you stop it already?!” He finally snaps, raising his head and looking at me with an exasperated expression, his phone loosely in his hand...

I crack a smirk, sitting upright, still with half a hand of popcorn in my hand “Doing what?” I ask innocently, even thou it’s far from innocent, and he knows it..

Rolling his eyes, he looks back to his phone...and I glance to Nathan, sending him a sly look as he hides his laughter...

And I resume with the flicking pieces of popcorn, until I get down to the last one left in my hand....and that’s when Seth snaps again...

“Lexi!” He shouts turning to me and making me jump in surprise, but bit my lip to hold back the smirk and suppress the giggles...looking at him with his annoyed and irrited expression.....

I push it further and flick the last piece of popcorn at his face, hitting him right in the middle of his forehead, causing him to blink in surprise.....before turning into a glare directed at me...

“Ooops..” I say with a nervous giggle and shrug... “They slipped..” Is my lame excuse, before I see Seth’s expression and I jump up from the bench with a squeak...

“Oh no!...stay away!” I yelp, grabbing the popcorn box as Seth stands from the bench, watching my every move as I’m already up and backing away, holding the box in front of me as if for protection...

As soon as he starts to advance on me I let out another squeak, moving around the bench to get away from him and start to throw handfuls of popcorn at him as a defence...

“Seth!” I start to laugh, as I walk backwards around the table, while throwing popcorn at him, which he picks up from the ground and throws back at me...“Stop!...Help! Nathan Help!” I look to him pleadingly but he just smirks, watching us from safety sat on the bench...

“You’re supposed to be my friend!” I gasp in fake hurt, before I see that I have no popcorn left....so I chuck the whole empty box at Seth, before making a run for it...

And by run for it....I mean, running around the other benches in this area, dodging other people as it’s fairly tightly packed...which makes it more difficult to get away, but also easier to hide....

“Lexi!” I hear Seth shout out and I giggle, dodging past people as I turn back on myself, running back to our bench......

“EEK!” I gasp out as suddenly an arm shots out grabbing me from around the waist, effectively, stopping me from going anywhere...

“Nooooooooooooooo!” I whine before letting slip a giggle “Seth!”....oh, no, no...don’t start tickling me in a crowd of people!

I hear his evil chuckle from behind me as his fingers dig into my side, making me squirm, holding back giggles as I try to pry his arms off me...but with no use as he’s a lot stronger than I am....

Just as I feel him about to pick me up, no doubt to chuck me over his shoulders, I gasp about to protest...but something, or rather someone, stops it from happening themselves....

“Seth!”

And instantly, I stop giggling, stop squirming and become still, Seth’s arms dropping from me aswell and he turns around....

Because I know that voice, and so does he....of course........his girlfriend just has to show up doesn’t she...

Holding back a groan, I turn around aswell, to see the brunette girl already in the arms of my brother, and I can’t help but feel my lip curl up in disgust...

Gross.

But as my eyes move away from them, the disgusted look drops off my face as my eyes connect with a familiar pair of dark brown ones......and, with no idea how or why, but I feel my lips tug up, into a small smile as I set eyes upon Noah.
