"There you are!" Aicko pointed at me when I came back to them, Blake went back to his Mom and sister. We've been outside for quite some time, I'm sure they got worried.

"Are we leaving now?" I asked.

Shari nodded. "It's a long drive back, we should get going."

"Alright." I looked at my watch. It was already half past midnight. "I'll just go to the comfort room." I said before walking towards the bathroom, the girls waited outside.

My eyes widened the second I entered the comfort room when I saw the person in front of me.

"Lucy?" I said in shock. "I didn't know you were here." I smiled at her.

"Hi Paige." She made a shy smile then went back to washing her hands. I went beside her to wash mine. She really is shy.

"Who did you come here with?" I asked.

"Just my Mom." She kept her eyes on the ground.

I almost forgot that her mother's the secretary of Blake's Mom, of course she'd be here.

Suddenly, one of the cubicle doors opened and out came Gia. Our eyes met.

"Oh it's you again." She flashed her pearly white teeth and stood beside me to wash her hands. I just smiled and got a paper towel to dry mine.

"Excuse me." Lucy suddenly whispered before walking hurriedly out of the comfort room. Maybe she really just doesn't like being around people.

I smiled at Gia one last time before walking out the comfort room, by coincidence so was she.

"I hope to see you again sometime Paige." Gia smiled. "I can tell that you'd fit in perfectly in this rich society." She winked at me.

I felt like arching a brow but I just smiled instead.

"Oh you see that guy." Gia pointed. I followed where she pointed and I realized, she was pointing at Blake. "That's Blake Carlisle, Billy's little brother." She said. "He goes to Eres just like you."

"Yeah I know." I kept my answers plain and simple.

"Handsome isn't he." She nudged my elbow. "He's also friends with royalty."

"Oh is he." I just laughed. Didn't it occur to her that I already knew that.

"Champagne miss?" A waiter asked.

Gia accepted a glass and I did the same, even if I don't drink this stuff. I took a sip.

"You know." She said after taking a sip on her glass. "His parents always wanted us to be engaged."

My eyes widened and I suddenly chocked on my drink.

"Oh dear are you okay?" She patted my back.

The thought of Blake's parents wanting him to be engaged with her felt like a pierce in my chest, why hasn't Blake ever mentioned that to me?

"Yes, yes, I'm fine." I tried to wave her off hoping that she'd just leave but she didn't.

"As to what I was saying." She annoyingly continued. "His parents definitely preferred me over that annoying Russian Princess." She laughed. "Well don't mention that to the Princess Khrystyna."

I didn't answer her. For the first time ever, I think I've found someone who's more annoying than Khrysie.

"We're actually friends, only he never allowed me to hang out with him and his friends, The Princess Bellona was the only non relative girl that he hangs out with."

I'm now trying my best to not roll my eyes.

"And you know-" She continued but I wasn't anymore listening.

"What are you still doing here?" Someone in front of me said.

"Oh Blake, you're here." Gia exclaimed. "Perfect timing, Paige this is my friend that I was talking abou-"

"Not now." He cut her off. My eyes widened when he took my hand. "Time to go." He said to me.

I just nodded.

"Wait you two know each other?" Gia looked shocked.

"Yes." Blake answered for me. "She's my girlfriend."

Before Gia could respond, Blake took my hand and lead me out the venue. I've never been so happy in my life to walk away from someone, and when we reached the parking lot, Gia's shocked face still stayed in my mind. I laughed. Who's shocked now?

Blake and I sat in his black sports car, Aicko and Shari said that it's okay if I go with him. Ram and Kile are both with their families.

He started the engine and we drove through the night. I kept silent in my seat while I was thinking, the thought of Blake and Gia bothered me.

"What's wrong?" Blake asked.

I shook my head. "Nothing."

"You can't fool me, I know when something's bothering you." He pinched my cheek.

I remained silent. Should I tell him or not? I don't want him to think that I get jealous easily.

I suddenly felt his hand take a hold of mine. "You could tell me."

I sighed and faced him. "Were you ever engaged with someone else?"

"No." He immediately said. "If I were then I would've told you or the whole school would've known."

I nodded.

"Is that your only question?"

Maybe I should tell him. I sighed. "What's with you and Gia?"

"We're just friends, we're not even close."

"But your parents wanted you two engaged?" I'm starting to sound like I'm conducting an interrogation?

"Yes." He sighed. "But I didn't want to."

"Why?" I wondered Gia was pretty, she's famous, and successful. "We're we together when that happened?" I felt my chest tighten, did he keep this from me?

He shook his head making me relieved.

"Then what made you say no?"

He loosened his necktie. "I was interested in someone else at the time."

I felt my insides freeze. Was he pertaining to some other girl?

I turned to the window to avoid his face. "Who?" I asked.

"You."

"Yes that'll look perfect." Nile nodded.

"What do you think?" Diana showed her dress to us.

"Looks cute." Aicko nodded and continued looking for dresses.

Today we're all at the mall looking for dresses for the Valentines Soiree or in other words the Valentine's party. All of them were picking dresses while my eyes are preoccupied while I eyed the oversized hoodies in the other aisle while I tried on some caps.

"Paige," Diana suddenly clung her arm on mine. "Since you're close to Andi and all do you mind if I ask you something?" She asked tentatively.

I smiled and placed the cap down. "What is it?"

Diana sighed in relief and snapped her fingers. Suddenly a saleslady walked to her side and showed me two hangered dresses, one was royal blue and the other was hot red.

"Which of these would you think Andi will like better?" She asked with a worried look in her eyes.

A smiled formed on my lips. Aiden just has no idea that many people are making the effort to impress him, I mean, I've been here at Eres for almost a year already and I've got a boyfriend, he's been here almost all of his school life and he's never gotten a single one. Something's really the matter with him.

"Do you happen to know his favorite color?" Diana asked.

My eyes switched from the blue dress to the red one. I tapped my finger on my bottom lips while thinking. "You know." I looked at Diana. "Colors wouldn't really matter to Aiden, he isn't the type of person who needs to be impressed."

Diana's brows scrunched. "Then what am I supposed to do?"

"Well." I crossed my arms. "Just be yourself." I smiled. "That's all that matters to him."

"Oh, I see." Diana nodded. "Then that's what I'll do," She smiled and ordered the saleslady to put away her dresses.

"How are you girls doing?" Nile gasped when she didn't find any dresses on my hands. "You should choose one before other people get the best dresses."

"Oh." I chuckled. "Do I really have to?"

"Of course." Diana frowned. "It's you who has a boyfriend."

Well she's got a point. "And the rest of you don't?" I raised my brow at the Princesses. I know that Aicko's flirting with some Prince at the moment, Shari is still crushing on Ram and I know very well that both Nile and Isabel are in serious relationships with their boyfriends.

Diana scoffed. "Am I the only one who's single here?!"

"Hey I'm single." Aicko raised her hand.

"Me too." Shari said but hopefully not for long.

"Eloise?" Diana turned to Eloise.

Eloise's eyes went to mine. I bit my lip and turned around for them not to see my smile. None of them know about her secret meet ups with one of the squire's from Excalibur, well as much as I know she's forbidden to do so but who am I to interfere?

"Of course I'm single." Eloise faked a laugh.

Diana raised her brow unconvinced. "Well thank God I'm not the only one."

We went back to picking clothes. The girls were the ones who picked my dress while I took a visit to the shop with oversized hoodies. I took my time since the girls take forever in picking a dress. Afterwards we left the mall, only Aicko, Shari, and I bought dresses since the Princesses couldn't pick, they decided to just have their private designers design them their dresses for the soiree.

After the mall, we all went to a café and ordered some milk teas, afterwards, we drove to the villa. None of the boys were at home but Nile knew where the spare key was hidden so we got to enter.

"Should I give him a new car or a new horse?" Nile asked as we sipped our milk teas in the villa's balcony overlooking the beach.

"I think the car would do, it'll be a lesser maintenance than a horse." Aicko said.

I left them to talk about what gifts they'd give their boyfriends for valentines, I already knew what to give Blake.

Shari was uneasy, probably because she'd be seeing Ram when he and the boys arrive.

"They're taking so long." Nile complained.

"Why don't you call your brother?" Isabel suggested.

"Forget it." Nile said. "He never picks up."

"If it's you who calls." Diana chuckled. "But whenever his flings would call he'd pick up immediately."

Nile rolled her eyes.

I don't remember Blake telling me that he's got football training today, Kile's probably got some student council meeting and Ram must be elsewhere doing whatever he pleases.

I just leaned on my chair as I watched the waves from the far of corner of the beach splash through the shore, it's one relaxing afternoon indeed.

After a while I stood up and headed to the kitchen to get some food for me and the girls. Some of the kitchen maids helped serve some snacks to the girls while I got a glass of water, afterwards I started heading back to the balcony when the main doors suddenly opened and I heard familiar voices as the people walked in.

"You're not serious." I heard Blake's voice say, based on his tone, I could tell that there was tension in the atmosphere.

"Just don't." Ram's voice joined, even he was sounding serious which took me by surprise.

"No." Kile said. "I'm sure."

I felt the tension becoming stronger so I had to step in. "Hey guys." I approached them making Ram's shoulders ease and Blake's face calm. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes." Kile answered for everyone. "We're all good." He then headed for the stairs. Ram gave me a small smile before following Kile.

I turned to Blake who seemed lost in thought. Obviously they just had a fight. He gave me a small smile before going to his room for a shower.

There was something wrong, it's in the atmosphere, the only questions is what is it?

After the villa, Aicko and I went home to our dormitory and I decided to tell her about Gia.

"You interrogated him?" She asked.

"Yes." I sighed. "Is that bad?"

"Not really." She sat on the sofa. "But you might've made him feel like you don't trust him."

I suddenly felt guilty.

As we entered February, the whole campus started to look more Valentines. The square was filled with heart decorations and cafe's and restaurants all had their valentine's special menu ready. The whole square was decorated with flower shops and many valentine gift shops. February sure has a lot in store.

"Mom it's still next month." I laughed on the phone as Aicko and I continued walking through the square to get to Asia town to try the sushi's for dinner.

[Yes sunshine but I'm just so excited can't I come there this month?] Mom pleaded.

I laughed again. "Sorry Mom but the ticket Aiden got you is still scheduled for March." I explained. "Just don't loose it." I reminded her.

"Oh, alright." Mom gave in. "Hopefully I still have a chance to visit by that time."

I rolled my eyes. "Of course you have time, it's not as if you'll be working on a Saturday."

After the call, Aicko and I continued our stroll through Asia town. Since Asia town is quite a distance from the school and the square, I rarely get to pass by it but today is an exemption. We were greeted by miniature temples with amazing Asian architecture and other monuments that showcased the rich Asian culture of the different Asian countries. I followed Aicko into one of the Japanese restaurants and she made me try the sushi. I got to admit, it is so good, as I tasted it, my mind was memorizing all the flavors and ingredients.

The week went on and so did the classes.

"I think they're in a fight again." Isabel said while we were all eating in the cafeteria.

I looked up from my plate with confusion.

"The boys." Isabel whispered. "Blake, Kile, Ram."

"What?!" Diana gasped.

"That's odd." Aicko said. "They don't usually fight."

"I agree." Eloise joined the conversation. "They've always gotten along ever since day one."

"Nile, is Ram acting weird?" Isabel asked.

Nile placed her glass down. "I couldn't tell, he's always weird."

The girls rolled their eyes at Nile's lack of explanation.

"Look here they come." Aicko pointed as Blake and Ram walked inside the cafeteria.

"No Kile." Diana noticed.

"There must be something wrong." I finally said.

"There really is something wrong." Nile folded her arms. "And Lonnie isn't here to fix it."

After class I walked outside the school and headed to the parking where Blake was waiting for me. He leaned on motorbike and smiled at me but it didn't reach his eyes, he seemed quite lost in thought again.

"You okay?" I asked him with concern.

He nodded his head again and let out a smile. "Yeah." He dipped his head to kiss me.

"Alright." I said when he let go. He placed my helmet on me and we drove into the square. I know something's wrong but I won't push it.

Since it's still early, I said that I wanted to take a stroll in the square and that's what we did. We were still in our uniforms but it was just fine.

When he left to buy churros, I walked towards the fountain in the middle of the square. The afternoon sunlight reflected on the water. I started rummaging my pockets for a coin, I suddenly laughed. I forgot that I didn't have any.

"Here."

I turned to my side and Blake was standing there holding a coin in his hands. "Make your wish."

I laughed and took it. "Where do you even get these?" I played with the coin on my hand. "Are you a coin collector or something?"

"No." He kept his hands in his pockets. "I just keep them."

"Why?" I raised my brow. "As if you'll even need these."

"They're not for me." He crossed his arms. "I kept them for you."

I got shocked at what he said. "Really?"

He nodded.

I just smiled and turned to the fountain. I suddenly felt the warmness in my heart as I reflected on how my life is. I'm at the best school with Aiden, Although I had a rough start, I still ended up with many friends, Mom might be a distance but she's ok and happy, and I've got Blake. I felt the cold coin in my hand.

I wish nothing would change.

I tossed the coin into the water, I watched as the coin sank into the fountain's marble, now glimmering from the sunlight.

"What's your wish?" Blake asked curiously.

I turned to him and smiled. "Lets go." I walked away from the fountain leaving him there with an open ended question. It might sound awkward or weird if he heard, best if I just kept it to myself.

After we ate the churros, we drove to the villa where Ram greeted us, he then insisted that I teach him how to bake while Blake went upstairs to shower.

"Wow." I said in shock. "You know how to bake?"

"Of course." Ram laughed as he stirred his batter. "My biceps aren't just for basketball you know."

He said he wanted to learn the basics but from the looks of it, he already knew how. where on earth did he learn to bake?

"Is this right?" He showed me his batter.

"What are you doing?" Blake entered the kitchen looking fresh from the shower.

"Baking." Ram pointed to the batter.

"You know how to bake?" Blake raised his brow at Ram.

Ram looked offended. "Of course I do."

"Wanna join us?" I asked him.

He eyed the batter. "No thanks." He said before leaving the kitchen. Guess this really isn't his thing.

After Ram and I finished baking, the three of us ate dinner which the maids prepared for us and afterwards we tried the cake Ram and I made for dessert.

"How does it taste?" Ram asked the second I tasted it.

I smiled at him. "It's good." I didn't lie it really did taste good. Blake nodded.

"I'm the one who mixed the batter." Ram said proudly.

Blake nodded again. "No wonder it tastes like clay."

Ram's eyes widened. "Hey my batter doesn't taste like clay!" He defended himself.
