[Sorry for the typos. I'm quite busy rn.]

"Make sure you bring her here again ok?" Billy said to Blake.

It's already morning and Blake and I need to head back to Campus just like our other batch-mates.

Blake frowned. "She has plans of her own."

"But Becky and Bobby needs to meet her too!" Billy complained.

Blake's expression immediately became scared at the mention of his elder sisters names. "There's no need for that."

"Hmmp." Billy rolled her eyes then faced me. "Good luck with your studies." She hugged me.

Blake scowled and left for the door but Billy gripped on his hand making him stop from leaving. She gave him a big warm hug.

"You sure you don't want to stay for breakfast?"

"No we need to be back at campus before noon."

"Oh fine." She squeezed his cheeks. "Take care Blakey."

I laughed at Blake's expression.

Billy gave me a hug aswell and bade us goodbye as we walked towards Blake's car. We silently entered and Blake drove out of the his mansion's estate.

Billy waved at us as we exited the main gates. I waved back. Once we got back on the road I rested my back on my seat. I yawned softly since I had to wake early, the campus is hours away so we needed to get on the road as early as possible.

The drive was silent. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on the window. Blake as usual had his arm rested on his window and the other on the wheel. I tried to recall last night.

Was what he said a confession? I sighed. Why is my life getting more and more complicated? Nothing seems to be clear anymore.

I just closed my eyes and went to sleep.

My eyes opened when I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Huh?"

"Get up." Blake said in a husky tone. Probably since it's morning.

I sat up. "Are we at campus already?" I looked outside my window. My eyebrows scrunched when I realized that we were at a café shop.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

Blake took off his seatbelt. "Breakfast."

"Oh."

I took off my seatbelt aswell and followed him out of the car. I immediately felt the cool morning air against my skin. It was refreshing.

I was wearing a designer shirt and shorts that Billy lent me since I arrived at their place in my beach clothes. While Blake just wore a hoodie and shorts.

We entered the café, there were only a few people. I formed in line to the cashier and Blake went behind me.

I suddenly heard giggling so I turned around. I frowned when I saw 5 high school girls in line behind Blake and giving him the googly eyes. Blake seemed like he doesn't care about the bunch of girls giggling behind him.

If Blake doesn't mind then why should I? I turned back to my front. The guy infront of me still isn't done ordering.

Excuse me sir, could you please make it faster? Of course I don't want to be rude so I just kept it to myself.

I subconsciously smiled when he left because finally I can eat!

"Hi!"

My eyebrows furrowed when I heard one of the girls behind Blake talk. I turned to them and found the girls introducing themselves to Blake. Blake raised his eyebrow at them.

"I'm Mia." One of the girls with a thick coat of liptint said. Her friends behind her were quietly squealing and pinching each other. "Me and my girls are wondering if we could be friends."

Blake may not look like it but I'm sure that he's annoyed by them. Maybe I should make him find us a table. But before I could say that he looked at the girls.

"No."

I covered my mouth so that the girls wouldn't hear my laugh. Their faces look so pathetic.

I turned to the cashier who looks as if she's just woken up.

"Good morning." I greeted.

"What's your order?" She asked lazily.

Is this how they treat customers?

I forgot to ask Blake about what he wants. "Wait a sec." I turned to Blake. "What do you want?"

Blake crossed his arms and went closer to the cashier to read the menu.

I raised my eyebrow when I saw the cashier lady immediately straighten her posture and fix her hair and now smiling from ear to ear.

"Good morning sir!" She said enthusiastically. "What would you like?"

Blake raised his eyebrow at her. He must've noticed her instant enthusiasm aswell.

"Sir?" The cashier lady repeated. "What would you like?"

"Her." My eyes widened when Blake pointed to me.

"Ask her." Blake said.

The cashier lady blinked. She looked at me then at Blake with confusion.

I don't know why but I felt a small smile for on my lips.

"I'll find us a table." Blake said before leaving the line.

I turned back to the cashier who looks somewhat shocked. I gave her a sweet smile and said our orders. Afterwards, a waiter followed me to the table where Blake was sitting on.

Good thing that the waiter this time was a boy so he didn't have to give Blake the googly eyes that almost all the girls here are giving.

I sat down across Blake who was playing something on his phone.

The waiter placed down our breakfast. I got some banana pancakes and a slice of blueberry cheesecake and some hot chocolate while I got Blake some Belgian waffles, sausage and eggs and coffee.

I didn't know what he liked but he ate it anyway. I started eating my breakfast aswell.

I took a bite of my pancakes. Gosh it's so delicious.

I frowned when I noticed Blake looking at me while I was chewing. I swallowed my food and looked at him.

"What are you looking at?"

"Isn't that too much?" He eyed my plate. "No wonder you're chubby."

"So." I glared at him. "You got a problem with what I eat?"

He chuckled at shook his head.

"Then do you have a problem with me being chubby?" I crossed my arms and raised my brow at him.

"No." He sipped on his coffee. "You know what I think?"

"What?" I urged him to continue.

"I think you look like a chipmunk." He laughed.

"What the hell?!" I glared at him. First a puppy now a chipmunk. How many more animals is this guy going to describe me as?!

"So do you generally have a problem with people who are chubby?" I crossed my arms and raised my brow. "For your information, One thing I hate the most is body shaming, because I believe that each body is unique and all bodies are beautiful." I held my chin up as I said that.

I expected him to be in awe of my speech but he looked as if he wanted to burst out laughing.

"I never said I had a problem with chubby people." He chuckled. "I actually think it's cute."

And just like as if I was splashed with cold water. "Oh." Was all I could muster. I feel embarrassed, But atleast I got to empower myself by saying those words. I took another bite of my cheesecake and chewed it.

"You're cute."

I immediately stopped chewing. Blake looked me straight in the eye. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Whatever." I just said and drank from my hot chocolate. I could still feel my cheeks heated up, hopefully Blake doesn't notice.

Blake went back to eating his food.

This time, I watched him as he took a bite from his sausage.

He looked up from his plate and found me starring at him.

"What?"

I chuckled. That was usually my line, it feels good seeing the tables turn.

I leaned closer to the table and rested my hands on the table.

"You were quite mean to those girls a while ago at the cashier line."

Blake leaned back on his seat. "So?"

"You said you didn't want to be friends with them." I pointed out. "You were quite harsh."

He frowned. "Then what's wrong with not wanting to be friends with a bunch of random girls?"

"Nothing." I sipped on my hot chocolate. "But when I asked to be friends with you, you said no." I eyed him. "So you don't want to be my friend aswell?"

"That's correct." He nodded. "I don't want to be your friend."

"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes. Typical Blake and his attitude.

I scrunched my forehead when he looked me straight in the eye.

"I want something more than that."

My heart thudded fast. I instantly became speechless. What am I suppose to say?

I just kept silent and played with my fingers under the table. I could still feel Blake's eyes on me.

"Lets go." He suddenly stood up from his seat. He didn't yet finish his food and so did I but somehow I lost my appetite.

I stood up and followed him out the door. I didn't anymore mind the stares of people as we exited.

We rode into his car and we went back to our route back to Campus.

We were surrounded by an awkward atmosphere. I kept my hands crossed and I kept my eyes on the rode. I can't bear to steal a glance at him.

I tried to sleep but I couldn't.

After a while, the grand gates of campus came into view, when we entered the familiar trees and buildings showed up. Soon we arrived at the square, it was already filled with many students from other year levels.

Blake parked the car infront of my dorm building, I spotted other cars park aswell. Must be the other students from the outing.

I felt my neck stiffen, probably because I've just been looking at one direction for about an hour.

When Blake stopped his engine, I started taking off my seatbelt. My hands were clumsy so I found a hard time taking it off. I suddenly stopped when I sensed Blake looking at me.

"I meant what I said last night Paige." I heard his deep voice say.

My eyes widened when I heard him say my name for the first time, We've been together for quite some time but he's never called me by my name. I felt my heart beating faster and faster.

I gave up on my seatbelt and just cross my arms and lay my back on the seat. As much as I want to leave, I want to hear what he has to say.

"I meant every word." He said in a serious tone.

I squeezed my eyes shut. "Everyday you confuse me more and more." One day he'd be insulting me, stepping on my shoes, hitting a ball on my head. Never have I thought that we would come to this. And what's worse is that, I don't know how I feel about him.

"Well let me make myself clear to you." He looked at me. "I like you."

My body instantly froze upon hearing what he said. My heart was hammering out my chest and I felt myself shaking.

"I-uh." I stuttered. I couldn't seem to make words form out my mouth. As time went by, I knew that Blake and I were getting a connection, I just never anticipated that it'll ever lead to this.

"You don't have to answer me now."

I exhaled and nodded.

He bit his lip. "Just let me prove it to you."

"Ok." I said in almost a whisper.

Afterwards I opened the door and got out of the car. I saw Khrysie coming out of her car eyeing me. I don't have time to think of her.

I walked towards my room and sat down on the couch, trying to process everything.

Blake likes me. the thought replayed in my brain.

Why am I this shocked? Everyone's been telling me, but hearing it from him gives a different affect.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice Aicko entering the room.

"Hey!" She clapped her hands infront of my face making me jump in surprise.

"God." I held my chest.

"How's your foot?" She eyed my bandaged foot.

I looked at it. "It's pretty good, Blake's sister stitched it up nicely."

"Woah!" Aicko exclaimed. "You met his sister?! What is this meeting the family?" She laughed.

I frowned. "Of course not, she just happened to be a med student."

"Whatever you say Paige." She giggled.

I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. My thoughts are just so mixed up right now.

"What are you thinking huh?" Aicko raised her eyebrow. She had her suitcase and mine behind her.

"What?!" I shook my head. "Nothing."

"Hmmm lets just pretend that I believe you." She laughed.

"Paige hurry!" Aicko called.

"Wait a sec!" I called back. Look at this roommate of mine, when she takes too long to get ready which is all the time except for today, no one complains but when I for some reason woke up late and for once in a life time took longer to finish than her, I get scolded.

I continued tying my hair up in a bun, I suddenly remembered a flashback of looking at this same mirror with my hair jet black. Well for goodness sake it wore off after a day, and I'm ever thankful for my blonde hair.

After I finished tying it, I wore my blue blazer on top of my blouse and went to Aicko, we raced going to the parking lot.

Aiden said that we could ride in his car today, guess he won't be jogging to school today.

Once I got to the parking lot, I immediately spotted Ice his car. I ran to it and Aicko walked slowly after me since she was on the phone with someone.

"Good morning Peggy." Aiden greeted me as I opened the car door to the shot gun seat.

I sat down comfortably and fixed my necktie. "Morning Ugly!"

"Hey!" I frowned when he ruffled my hair with his hand. "I just fixed it!" I punched him on the shoulder and tried fixing my messy hair.

He laughed. "Morning mood swings huh."

"Whatever." I stuck my tongue at him.

My eyes lit up when he handed me a paper bag. "What's this?"

The second I opened it, I immediately smelled the bagel and hot chocolate inside. My eyes widened and I looked at Aiden. "Hot chocolate!?" I asked excitedly.

"Your favorite." Aiden smiled.

"Aww thanks!" I opened it and started sipping on it, Aicko and I didn't yet have breakfast since we both had to go to school early, she has a student council meeting, I have a science project.

"How bout me?" Aicko entered the back seat.

"Here." Aiden handed her another paper bag.

"Thanks Andi." She laughed.

Am I the only one who doesn't call him that?

"Lets talk about Political issue No.7" Our teacher discussed.

It was my first period and Blake was miraculously behave behind me.

I kept feeling unexplainable emotions when close to him. I shook my head and just jotted down notes to divert my attention.

Many chairs in our class are vacant because all of the Royals that are heir to the throne have their exclusive classes. That's why I couldn't see Kile and the others.

"Yes thankyou." Eloise thanked the librarian after giving her back her library card.

I smiled at the librarian and followed Eloise inside the library. I silently waved at Aicko and Shari when I spotted them in one of the tables.

"What's up." Aicko said without looking up at us. She and Shari were working on a 3D sculpture. Probably for art class.

Eloise and I sat down and I pulled out a book that I'm currently reading.

"Paige what's our next class again?" Shari asked.

"Huh?" I looked up at her.

My eyes widened when I saw the person who came inside the library pass behind her.

"Paige?" Shari called.

I brought my attention back to her. "Oh yeah?"

"Next class?"

"Uhmm.." I tried to recall. "Arts."

"Ok ok thanks." Shari nodded and continued working on her and Aicko's art sculpture.

I brought my eyes back on the person who's seated on another table behind Shari.

I never knew that he actually hangs out here.

I eyed Blake, he was alone sitting on the table by the corner, and what's weird is that he's reading a book.

I watched him as his eyes read the book and as he flipped the pages not bringing his face up. So focused. I raised my eyebrow. Wow it looks like he's actually reading, I never knew that he likes to read.

I leaned a bit closer to try to see what title of the book he's reading.

I laughed, he looks really interested in it huh. I loved the book, Me and Aiden used to read it back when we were young.

I pulled out my phone and texted him.

To: Jerk

Wow you read.

I watched him as his phone buzzed and he looked up at me.

From: Jerk

Cool right.

I chuckled.

To: Jerk

That's a nice book, better finish it.

From: Jerk

I've already finished it.

I frowned.

To: Jerk

You've finished it already?

From: Jerk

Of course.

I eyed him from the other table. He was looking right at me.

I went back to my phone.

To: Jerk

Liar you can't finish a book that fast?

From: Jerk

Easy.

I just look at the pictures.

What the hell! I glared at him and he was smirking at me from the other table.
