Trinity POV

"I'm home!" Liam shouts from the front door.

No shit, Sherlock.

"The food is on the dining room table, ill be there in a minute!" I shout back, hoping he doesn't notice my aggravated tone.

I grab the jug of orange juice and make my way towards the dining room.

"Everything smells good, is anyone coming over?"

I ignore his sarcastic remark and sit on the chair that's beside him.

He puts some food onto his own plate, I proceed doing the same with mine.

"Anything interesting happen today?" he asks.

"Nothing really, all I've been doing all day is feeding, changing diapers, cleaning barf up, and putting the kids to sleep. Overall, nothing much. How about you?"

He shrugs. "Met up with some friends."

We eat in silence for a few minutes, then I decide to break it.

"Liam, there something I need to tell you."

He motions for me to continue.

"I'm leaving. Just for a little while, though."

He raises his eye brown, anger evident on his face.

"Where to?"

"My parents asked me to stay with them at the cabin, a mini family getaway."

"Why don't I come along with you guys?"

"Liam... my parents really just want to spend time with their grandchildren and daughter. Plus, I think its best if we took so time away from each other. When I come back, talk things through. Properly this time."

He takes a breath, slowly becoming calmer.

"When you are leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning, they're sending a driver for me at 9."

He nods, "How long?"

"Not sure, maybe a week."

He sits there quietly, "Maybe I should drop you guys, to make sure everything is alright and all. You know how I get when you're in the hands of someone other than-"

"Liam, just stop. Don't you get that I want some time alone? I just, the more was together I feel like we're drifting farther apart. It's not just me that realizes the spark between us died so long ago. Maybe being away and not trying to think of each other is the best option."

He abruptly stood up, causing me to jump in my seat, "Why? Why do this after all we've been through. I stayed with you when you got dumped and pregnant. I put a roof over all of your head, and you telling me that the spark between us has died!"

He starts walking toward the front door, so I quickly get up from my seat.

"Liam."

He ignores me, opening the door and storms out.

"Liam! Listen to me."

He suddenly stops, turning to face me.

"I know it hurts, I know, but please don't make it seem like I used you because I never would or ever have done that. All I've felt towards you was real. I felt love towards you, I still do, very much. But everything has to come to an end, and maybe thats best for us."

He sighs, a look of pain taking over his face. "You know, I kept on putting off the fact that the love between us has faded away but deep down I didn't want to believe that. I still love you, Trinity, I never go a day without doing so, and just to make everything easier, were done."

I stood there frozen in my place not believing what just came out of his mouth.

"What?" I say breathlessly.

"I can't go another day feeling like this, I know its easier for both you and me."

Tears begin filling my eyes. "I'm sorry for being such a bitch towards you because you deserve so much better. Thank you for being there when I needed someone most.I know our relationship wasn't the greatest whats so ever, but I guess some things must just come to an end, us being one of them."

He walks up to me and gives me a hug.

I hug him back.

"Have fun on the family getaway, I know you really need some time alone. I'll see you soon, Trinity."

He turns around, about to unlock the car when I call his name out.

"The ring! I still have it."

"Keep it, or don't keep it, all I know is I don't think I'll be needing it."

With that, he gets into the car and drives off.

At that moment I realized that the plan was completely useless because Liam did what he did because he was mentally ill and hurt.

I quickly get back into the house and rush upstairs.I checked on both kids to make sure they were both still fast asleep; thankfully they were.

Walking back to my room, I look around for my phone and find it on my bedside table.

Scrolling through my contact list, I spot Nathans name and tap on it.

He answers after the first ring.

"Hello." He says.

"Hey, you busy?"

"Nope, just on my computer working up some files, whats up? Everything alright?"

I sigh, "Its a long story, but to sum it up, I need you to stop the plan against Liam."

This line goes quiet for a second and Nathan begins to speak once again.

"Trinity, are you sure you still remember the fact he tried to almost kill you."

"Of course I do, but Nathan, all that he has done was because he was angry and didnt know what to do with it because he was alone."

"That doesn't excuse him to do what he did!"

"Don't you think I know that! But, you should've seen him, Nathan. During dinner we talked, well more like had a scream fest but besides the point. When I looked at him I could see how sorry he really was and doing what we initially wanted would cause him to feel worse. For this situation, I'm just going to forgive and forget because deep down I know ill regret it if we kept along with the plan."

"Are you sure, because we can still go ahead with that plan."

"Postive."

He sighs, "I would keep fighting with you over this, but you stubborn as fuck."

I laugh, its been a while since I've done that."Let's hope trouble won't hit us once again."

"Hopefully... So, are you free?"

"Yup, what's up?"

"Well, I thought I would pass by to say hello(once again) to you guys."

"As long as your bringing food, my door is open for you."

He chuckles, "Ill be there in half an hour. Take care."

With that, that line is cut.

Suddenly, the cries of baby Sadie are heard.

I guess my break is over.

Nathan POV

"Order 105."

I get up to pick up the meals I have order and made my way towards the car.I start it up, get out of the parking, and make my way to Trinity's.

I had to call Trinitys father right after the call and had to explained to him why Trinity doesn't want to go ahead with the plan.

At first, he was pissed, gradually towards the end of the conversation he accepted the fact his daughter didn't want to press charge against Liam.

One way or another, karma is going to bite him in the ass and its going to be a bitch.

Within 15 minutes I gad reached her house. Stepping out, locking the car behind, I walk towards her door and rang the bell.

Not even a second later, the door opens up, revealing a very beautiful women.

"Thank god, I was dying from hunger."

She snatches the food and goes back in.

"Hey, what about me?"

"I mean I was also excited you were tagging along, but you know food always comes first."

I huff in fake annoyance and close the door behind me.

We walk to the living room and I see Sadie in an automatic rocking chair facing the TV.

"She wouldn't stop crying, so I brought her down to finish up another episode of "The Originals" with me."

I smile, "Only you would do something like this."

"I know you love it."

"I do, especially since you do it."

She stares at me, her eyes filled with an emotion Im not sure of.

"Do you know we've been broken up for almost 6 and a half months." She says, her voice filled with sadness.

"Feels a whole lot longer."

She nods in agreement.

We somehow come closer to one another, closer to the extent if I moved a little closer, it would result in a kiss.

I really wanted to kiss her.

"Then do it." She whispers in such a low voice, that if i weren't this close I wouldn't be able to hear what she had said.

I slowly lean in closer, I see her eyes fluttering shut, and her lips getting closer, and with that, were kissing.

It felt like the whole world had just stopped.

The spark I feel in the kiss was so unreal, I couldnt believe I was kissing Trinity again.

I was kissing the love of my life again. Trinity kisses back with just as much hunger.

I place my hands on either sides of her face, deepening the kiss. She grabs onto my waist and pulls me closer.

As the kiss deepens, our breaths shorten.

Slowly, we pull away from one another and place our foreheads against each other.

I suddenly say, "What just happened?"

She shrugs, her head still against mine. "I dont know, but it was the best feeling ever."

"I agree."

We pull away and look into each others eyes.

"Nathan, I think we should start over. Forget the shit we've been through and just start again."

I nod in approval and stick my hand out.

"Alright then. Hi, my name is Nathan Spark."

"Trinity Lancast."

We shake one anothers hands, and suddenly I pull her towards me, kissing her once again.

She let put a squeak of surprise and kissed back.

At that moment, I realized that everything is going back to how it used to be. I hope nothing ever comes in the way, because for now, let's just say Mr. CEO got what he wanted.

This is the last chapter.

Fuck.

I understand there are so many questions regarding the chapters and why some don't go together, but I promise when I'm editing the book it will make so much more sense.

Now, this wasn't the initial ending I planned. During the time I was writing I rethought about the old ending and felt sad (reason being it wasn't a happy ending).

Although, if you guys do want to know the ending, I could always upload it as an alternative ending.

Thank you guys for joining on this adventure of writing my first book, it was pretty awesome. Also, thank you for putting up with my inconsistent updates.

An epilogue will be uploaded for sure, but I don't know when exactly.

I do hope the upcoming stories I will be publishing are going to be enjoyed, and now I'm going to shut up.
