Trinity POV

The mirror gave away someone else.

Someone with no dilemmas, worries, or even complications.

That person was plain.

The opposite of me, the off white color made my skin look as if it were glowing, my long legs peeking through the visible slit on the side. Most of all my bump that summed it up.

Jade suddenly burst into my changing room, uninvited, startling me from my day dream. She looks me up and down and a smile plays onto her lips.

"Told you you'd look like a sexy mama!"

Which causes me to chuckle in return.

"Thanks, well I guess this dress is the one. I do own a pair of heels that would make this look completed." She nods her head. "I don't mean to get you out of your happy zone, but Ross is on his way home and were not there." I shake my head. "Oh no, I was going up to pay anyways, just give me 5 minutes and well be headed, ill meet you at the front of the shop." She nods, closing the dressing room door behind her gently.

After putting my clothes back on I went towards the cashier and paid for the dress, I head towards the door and see Jade engrossed with her phone, I tap her shoulder causing her to jump, and making me laugh. "You scared the living shit out of me!"

That made me double in laughter. I wipe away the tears that have formed and finally recovered from my laughing state "Yeah, well if you weren't on your phone you would've noticed me. Now let's get home before Ross does." She nods and we make our way towards the exit of the mall.

Jade parks the car into the drive way, just as we were about to hop out we see a car parking right beside us. Both Jade and I get out and see Ross standing beside a man that looks like he is in his late twenties, as well as beside him a girl that looks around the same age as Ross.

Ross runs up to me and hugs my legs "Trinity! What are you doing here?" I look down at him giving him a frown "What not happy to see me?" He shakes his head "No, I just missed you. Wow, your fat." I giggled him, causing Jade to smack the back of Ross's head lightly.

I pick him up and try placing him on my hip, immediately Jade comes in and sweeps him from my arms and says "You know you're not supposed to lift heavy things!" I roll my eyes and look at the guy behind.

"Hi, my name is Trinity." He smiles "Hi, I'm Hunter, this is my niece Athena." The little girl wave enthusiastically at me, casing me to giggle at her enthusiasm.

Hunter looks down at his phone and frowns "Hey look I got to go, Athena's mom needs her but Ill see you tomorrow Jade. Bye guys."

After that both of them get into the car and drive off, we walk inside and jade places Ross down. He runs off to god knows where and I look at Jade and smirk "So whats happening tomorrow?" She sighs. "Well since you are never going to get off my case, tomorrow Hunter and I are going out for lunch." She says it as if weren't a big deal.

"You know you should be more excited he could be the 'one'," I say as we walk into the house.

"Yup the 'one'," She says sarcastically causing me to frown. "Look I don't know what happened between you and Ross's father but have hope." She nods "I know but its just.." She stops and looks down suddenly, I walk up to her and give her a hug.

"You don't have to talk to me, but just keep in mind I'm here." She doesn't say anything just continues to cry everything out.

Nathan POV

I turn around and see my mom, she still looked the same. Minor wrinkles here and there but still looked beautiful, as always, with a small boy next to her around the age of 7.

She smiles at me and says "Nathan is that really you, you've grown up so much." She comes towards me wanting to give a hug but I step back.

"Look I just came here cause dad kinda forced me to, so if you expect up to get along in an instant then your defiantly mistaken." She nods her head and walks past me to sit in the chair opposite me. The little boy follows along and sits right beside her, I looked at him and saw he had the same hair color as mine as well as my moms eyes. "This is Jason, your little brother."

I nod. "So I see after you got bored of me and dad you went ahead and started a new family, glad to see you were committed to someone." She sighs and looks at me with sad eyes "Nathan I never wanted to leave you."

I shook my head "Then why did you!" I said a little more forcefully than intended, She looks down at Jason and back at me "Your scaring him Nathan, and I came here to talk." I huff and lower my voice a little. "Then why did you leave? Done say its a long story because I want to hear it now."

She sighs. "Nathan I never wanted something like this to ever happen okay, I loved you and still do very much but I never thought the situation would go this way.

"Years back, the time before I left, your father and I talked. We realized that we've fallen out of love with one another, so as we decided to get a divorce. Now I know you may think this has nothing to do with you but I promise were getting to the point, I asked your father if I could bring you along with me and have him see you whenever he wanted to but he declined. He said that if I were to take you I'd be setting a horrible example when growing up, saying I'd be whoring around bringing men every night and influence you to. But Nathan I promise it wouldn't have been like that, so we decided that you would stay with your father but coming to me when ever you wanted.

"So I began packing my bags to be moving to a new house few neighborhoods down, the day I was going to tell you which was also the day before I was leaving your father came up to me and told me he has changed his conditions written for the court, saying that I had no visiting rights. The thing was I signed the paper with the conditions your father applied before but he had manger to change them."

I stare at her with a blank face "Okay you left but why not at least say goodbye, you know how heartbreaking it is to wake up to find your mom wasn't there that day, to wait weeks, months, then they turned to 13 years. Waiting for at least one birthday card saying that you at least loved me." My voice cracks in the end involuntarily, she looks down as if looking ashamed. Good.

She spoke in a low voice "Nathan, I was going to say good bye but it was too hard. That would have been the last time I would've seen my baby, I called so many time only to have either one of the nannies answer saying they weren't allowed to get you to the phone or your father saying if I didn't leave you he would make this into a big problem.

"So I stopped. I swear I tried to get to see you, at least once but it never worked out." A tear slipped down her face, her face made me want to go and hug her saying it wasn't her fault but I couldn't show vulnerability "What about Jason?" I say pointing towards the kid who was playing with 'his' mothers phone, she looked down at him and a small smile stretched across her face.

"I remarried 3 years after your father and I split up, I met Rick. 2 after we go married I found out I was pregnant with Jason, he was unexpected but he was one of the best gifts given. Enough about me any girlfriend's?" I chuckle, yup she's far behind. "Well let's see I did have a girlfriend she was amazing you would've loved her. Of course, fucked up me might have ruined our relationship on our 2 month anniversary, then I don't see her for the next few months. Oh and I forgot to mention I got her pregnant with twins, a boy, and a girl. Now she's happily engaged to a mentally disabled man, nothing much."

She stares at me wide-eyed," Nathan Alexander Sparks, I did not teach you to do such things like that. That poor girl was probably heartbroken because of your oh so smart mistake." I nod "Yah I know, and I always regret it every time I look into her face. We have reconnected, became friends I guess."

"You know you should try to win her back because, by the way, you explained to her fiancè you sounded a little... what's the word, oh right jealous." My mouth hangs open to form the words she has just said "Mom! you sound like an 18-year old that trying to help her best friend win he roved one back."

She giggles. "Well isn't this what's happening." She stares at me and I can see through her eyes and all I saw was love. It seemed like the same love I felt for Trinity. She continued speaking "You know I love hearing you say, mom." I give her a genuine smile "I miss saying it, now we don't want to get into another sob story introduce me to this young man."

My mom, Jason, and I ended up having an amazing time. Even though I haven't seen her in the past 13 years it still felt like old times. Throughout our time together I kept on thinking why my father would ever do that to my mom, as soon as I did I'm going to start something my father never wished I have.

-3 days later. AKA Fundraiser Day-

Trinity POV

I have 5 hours to get ready.

Liam went to pick up his tux, Jade said she would also be coming to the fundraiser with her date which is Hunter, no surprise there.

I went ahead and took a nice and long shower, thinking about random things. Like what to do with my hair, or if I had 6 fingers how would I function?

An hour later, which was how long my shower was. I was sitting at my vanity and proceeded to blow dry and curl my hair. With that done I put it in a cute, but as well as a messy bun.

Just as I was about to start my makeup Liam bursts into the room a little to anxiously, he sees me and smiles "Hey babe." He kisses the top of my head and places his suit into the cabinet, I look at him through the mirror.

"Hey, you seem even more excited than I am." He chuckles nervously, what is up with him these past few weeks? "Well, it has been almost a month since I've last seen your parents so it kind of likes meeting them for the first time again." Liar, but I only nod.

"Well, I have to put my face on since we are leaving in 3 hours and 30 minutes so shoo. I want my look to surprise you." he chuckles "Well even if you were to go with no makeup, and that bathrobe you would look sexier than a Victorias Secret model." I sigh "You mean a fat, fat oh and don't forget fat model."

"No, I mean pregnant, sexy and smart." I just shake my head and start putting my makeup on. Finally 2 hours later, yes 2, just because I couldnt decide on what eyes makeup to apply. I go toward my closet and put on my dress, thank god the zipper was on the side unless it would have been a struggle to close especially since I was upstairs alone while Liam was doing god knows what downstairs.

Putting on my shoes and final touches I saw that it was already 6:30 leaving us an extra 30 minutes. I go downstairs and see Liam still in his clothing form earlier, I go up to him "Babe, were leaving in half an hour why aren't you ready." He looks at the clock and cusses under his breath "Shit time goes by too fast, ill be right back."

Liam goes upstairs while I sat down and played random games that I had downloaded on my phone, 10 minutes later Liam's phone goes off signaling he has got a message. I pick it up to see who it was from it said:

From: S.R

To: L.K

Hey, don't forget, if you mess up everything goes downhill.

My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion, and questions began swimming my mind. who is this person, and what he was it talking about. I hear Liam walking down so I quickly place the phone back where it was and looked back at my phone as if nothing were to happen.

I get up and turn seeing him stand with a smile on his face, I walk towards him giving him a peck on the lips "Well someone looks handsome."

"Well you look sexy, so of course you beat me at that." I just laugh at his cheesy comments "Shall we get going?" I ask, he nods "Yup let me get my phone and let's head out."

He picks it up placing it in his pocket and I wrap my hands around his arm, he looks at me and says "Tonight should be fun." I nod "Let's hope so."
