《Mr. CEO gets what he wants》Chapter 6

Trinity POV
The bed feels soft. Way too soft to be mine.
I slowly open my eyes and adjust them to the new environment. The walls are dark grey, a tv hung on the wall, a large window to my left, and the large white bed I'm currently laying in.
Most defiantly not my room.
I then remember that I spent the night Nathans house. In Nathans bed.
Quickly sitting up, I place my hand on my head and groan. I can't believe I actually ended up in his bed, I must have been really drunk on that really good wine last night.
I slowly get out of the soft sheets and look to Nathan and see that's he's still soundlessly asleep, like a little baby.
I'm tempted to pull out my phone and take a picture but decided against it.
Walking towards that door, I open it slowly, and shut it softly behind me, making my way towards the guest room I was initially supposed to be sleeping in.
I run to the bathroom and brush my teeth and splash my face with water. Once I'm done I'm feeling much more refreshed and hunger begins to overtake me.
I don't think he'll mind if I made myself at home.
Walking downstairs, I head towards the kitchen only to come face to face with a women not older than 30, she was dressed in a maids uniform, which could mean one thing.
"Hello!" Her voice is chirpy.
I give her an awkward smile. "Hi."
"You seem lost. I have never seen you around Ms."
I cringe at the Ms. part. That just makes me feel old.
"Please just call me Trinity, Ms. is a little too fancy for my liking. Do you know where I could possibly get breakfast?"
She points towards the kitchen door.
"In the dining room, let me show you to it."
She then moves towards the room.
We reach the dining room a few seconds later. As usual, it's beautiful, this whole house is just spectacular. Id die to have a house this grand, anything can beat the shit of an apartment Tina and I have.
Speaking of Tina, I should probably tell her where I am.
"Do you want me to plate the food up for you Trinity?"
Is she serious? Damn, I feel like royalty.
"It's alright, I'll just do it myself, I just have to make a quick phone call." With that, I pick myself up and walk towards the stairs, when I remember leaving my purse beside the door the night.
I pick it up off the floor and take out my phone and click on Tina's contact number.
She picks up instantly.
"Hey. I was starting to think something happened to you. Everything alright?"
"Sorry I didn't call earlier. I was a little occupied."
"Oh?For a full 24 hours? Is that so?" Her voice beginning to turn flirtatious, "Is it that same guy from 2 nights ago at the club?"
"Yes and no. Yes, the same guy, which I also forgot to mention is my new boss. And no we didn't hook up, we came to terms that we should just start over and be friends."

I hear her laugh on the other end.
"Wait? your hooking up with your boss? A classic! And that so-called friendship won't last a week, I can practically feel the sexual tension between you two over the phone."
"How's that even possible if he isn't even in the same room? And I didn't know he'd be my boss in the first place, so don't judge!"
"Because I'm your best friend and know when you start to develop feelings for someone, even if it has been 2 days Seeing him again just gives it away."
I roll my eyes at her words, she's so delusional, he's never going to see me in more a friendship/ business way. Whatever happened 2 nights ago was a one-night thing, means nothing else to him, he said so himself.
"Your spacing out, which means your thinking of him, aren't you? You little witch, I knew you feel something towards him." Her voice so loud it makes me cringe.
"This conversation is over, ill see you at home." My voice filled with agitation.
"Use protection!" With that, I end the call.
And that ladies and gentlemen are my best friend.
I walk back into the empty dining room, phone in hand and begin eating the heavenly looking waffles in front of me.
Nathan POV
Jesus, why is it so cold?
I toss and turn and still can't feel the warmth I had all night long.
I open an eye and peek at the spot beside me, only to see that she's gone.
I get out of bed, go into the bathroom and still don't see her. I rush towards the guest room and call out her name, and yet again, no reply.
She just left, not even a goodbye.
That thought made me angry. Why? I have no clue. She just took her shit and left, as if yesterday wasn't fun.
What the hell am I saying?
Why am I aggravated at the fact a women left, well technically 2 women left. Allison and I finally came to terms that we cant keep on doing what we're doing. She said she found someone she really feels happy with and I told her to do what her heart tells her and I would deal with the fall out of the initial plan.
And now Trinity?
Ever since I got information on her, she's been on my mind, constantly. I don't know why, though. She was such a bitch at the office but that just made me admire her more.
Her confidence, her beautiful face, her long hair, those long legs, and her body, oh my go-
Nope! I'm not going there, I cant mix business with pleasure, it'll never end well.
Yet, I still somehow want to risk it for her.
I think I'm losing my mind. Big time.
I shake the thoughts out of my head and exit the guest room and make my way down the stairs. I guess today ill be having breakfast with myself.
I walk towards the dining room and once I'm in, I come face to face with a Trinity Stuffing her face with pancakes.

"Your still here." I sigh in relief.
Yup, defiantly losing my mind.
She looks up from her plate and her eyes go wide. She chews the remains of her waffles and wipes her mouth with the napkin.
"Was I not supposed to be here?"
"No!" I shout out by mistake, "I mean, I thought you left, the bed was empty."
She gives me a smile, flashing her white teeth. "Aw, would you have missed me? Don't worry, I'm not that mean, I would've come to say goodbye."
I walk towards the table taking the seat across from her.
"I wasn't going to miss you, I just know you don't have a ride back home, so I would've at least offer to drive or ask my driver to take you."
"That's sweet." Trinity looks back down to her plate, moving the remaining pieces around.
"You full?" I ask as I'm putting food for myself on the plate.
"Yeah, I already had a bunch before you came down."
We end up staying in silence all throughout I was eating my breakfast.
————
"So, want to watch a movie?"
She looks up at the clock and shrugs. "I mean it is 12 pm on a Saturday, so why not?"
I pick up the remote, sitting down on the couch beside Trinity. "Anything in mind?"
She shakes her head no, so I take matters into my own hands.
A few minutes later, the movie begins to play.
"Grown-ups?" She asks, amusement laced in her voice.
"Yup!"
She doesn't say anything after that and we watch the movie.
————
Halfway through, the doorbell rings, and minutes late the door opening.
"Nathan!"
Oh shit, It's my sister Jade.
"In the living room," I shout back.
Jade walks in and gives me a smile and then looks at Trinity. Her smile turns into an open-mouthed.
"Trinity?" She says in shock.
"Jade? Oh my, its been ages."
Trinity goes up to Jade and gives her a hug.
Thy start blabbering and chatting and I just sit and stare in confession.
I clear my throat, gaining both women's attention. "How do you two know each other?"
"Trinity used to watch Ross while I was at work a few months back."
"And how did I not know this?"
"You were just starting out with the company, so you weren't around as often. Besides, it's my life, you don't have to be part of it every step of the way."
"Actually I do when it comes to my nephew." I tone starting to get harsher.
"Fuck you, Nathan!"
Before I could reply, Trinity begins talking instead.
"So Jade, what brings you here?"
You could see Jade visibly calm down. "I just came to see how Nathan was doing, I do that every now and then. What about you."
She looks at me as if silently asking if she should tell her, I give her a curt nod and she turns to Jade.
"Had some issues, so your brother came to the rescue. It started to become too late so he suggested I stay here and leave the next day."
"Cool. Well, then I can see you two have everything handled. Nathan ill see you whenever, Trinity, I'm sure ill be seeing you much more."
With that Jade turns and heads out.
Trinity looks at me, looking annoyed.
"Why are you such a dick to your sister? You know she's having a hard time, especially when it comes to Ross and you just acting like a know it all."
I really wanted to argue back but I knew she was right.
She is right every time I wound up going something.
"Your right, I'm sorry."
"Don't tell me that, your sister needs to hear it."
I analyze her face as she's scolding me. She looks so cute doing it. The place between her eyebrows scrunch up, a small pout, her nose scrunched up.
I can't help but smile.
"Go on a date with me." I let put suddenly.
She stops what she's saying and looks up at me with wide eyes. "What?"
"Go on a date with me."
"Why?"
"Because I want to know how it feels to take Trinity Lancast on a date."
"Your kidding, right?"
"No," I say with confidence.
"I haven't been on a date in ages."
"That just explains how the men your around are blind to see how fun a date with you would be."
"Why me, I'm not interesting."
"Oh trust me you are. You are so much more different than any other girl I have encountered in the whole 21 years of my existence."
"I bet you say that to all your women." Her voice filled with sass.
"Only to you, I promise. One date. IF you hate it, were strictly business."
She stays quiet for a few seconds.
"Alright, on one date. But you better drop me home now, so I can get ready, its 3 pm and if you're going to pick me up at 6, I best start getting ready now."
"I never set a time."
"I just did. So let's hurry up."
With that, she turns around and heads to wear her shoes.
She is one heck of a woman and I admit I like that a lot about her.
