I was slowly walking back from a meeting to mine and Kates room. I was scrolling on my phone and slowly dragged my feet behind me

I reached our room and walked in on Kate fixing her mission suit. "Where you going" I ask going to brush my teeth which I probably should have done earlier

"Clint and I got called in on a emergency mission" She said putting her hair up and coughing pretty badly

"You don't sound mission ready" I say walking over to her and putting my hand on her forehead which is burning hot. "Yea no. I'm not letting you go. You are sick" I say giving her a stunt look

"I'm completely fine" She say but her voice breaks in the end and she starts coughing again

I walk to the door looking at her. "I want you laying in bed resting when I come back. I'm telling Fury to pull you out and put someone else in" And even tho I might be the in the relationship the look she is getting is telling her to do as I say

She sighed and start taking the suit of as I leave the room. I quickly find Fury and tell him what's going on. He says it fine and calls Yelena to his office instead

I go to the kitchen and grab two water bottles before I walk back and when I come back Kate is laying in our bed looking really bored but looks up at me when I enter

"There you are. It was getting boring her in bed" I give her a look with my head tilted showing I'm not buying it. "I know you are feeling like shit so take the act down" I say handing her a water bottle and quickly goes to grab medicine which I forgot

I clime into bed behind her and wrap my arms around her. "Now tell me what's wrong for real"

"My head is killing me, my throat hurts and I sweat one second and freeze the next" She actually sounds really bothered by it so I place a soft kiss on her burning neck before speaking

"It sounds horrible babe. So try getting some sleep and when you wake up we will see how you feel and if you want I can make you tea or soup. Does that sound nice" She just nods before she close her eyes and try to fall asleep
