《Marvel Women One Shots》The Diner - F.P

I was working my normal shift at the small diner in town. It wasn't big but it paid me enough for my rent and food every month. We usually had the same customers except a few people, mostly families, came when they where passing through probably on there way somewhere in California
I was leaning on the counter talking with Hames the chef as we waited for a customer. A very specific customer.
She always comes in on Sundays. After 9 before 9:30. 8 out of 10 times the dinner is empty and she is always alone. She a very beautiful young lady. Probably around my age. So 25 and she has blonde hair. I would say long but not to long ago she cut it and now it's short
She sits down at her usual table as we walk over
I sit down on my usual table in the cute little diner a go to once a week.
At the start I just went because they had really good food for a cheap prince but soon a notice the beauty of a waitress who seemed to work every time I come in
As always she stood up form leaning on the counter and straighten both her back and her apron. She put a smile on her face and walked over. "What could I get you today miss"
"The fish and chips please. With some water" She didn't even write it down she just went back to the counter and told the chef as he got started
45 minutes later I was done and when she noticed she came walking over so I could pay. I payed and she was about to leave but I stopped her. "Excuse me" She turned to me again still with that smile on her face. "Could I do something miss"

"I just...I know it might be inappropriate because I'm your customer and I don't know you but I would really like to get your number and maybe we could go out for coffee or something else if you don't drink coffee"
"That would be nice" She said as she grabbed a pen and wrote so thing in the notebook she had before ripping the page out and handing it to me
And that's how I ended up her. In a Italian restaurant waiting for her.
I was on my phone when I heard the chair at my table move. I looked up and wasn't meet by what I expected
Instead of the girl in the diner who usually had a makeup covered face, a shirt which showed of a little to much and a short skirt. A woman with a oversized t-shirt, a bean, black ripped jeans and red converses to match the bean sat in front of me
And she could probably see my surprise because she spoke. "I 'm sorry. I knew I shouldn't have dressed like this" She said actually sounding sorry
"Oh no no. It's absolutely no problem. You look really good actually. I was just surprised. I have never seen you dressed like this in the diner"
"Yea. You get better tips when you show a little more. So I never dress like this for work"
"It sounds like a shitty job if you can't even dress like yourself"
"Probably but you can't do much when you didn't graduate college" She said shrugging her shoulders
And we went on to talk and text and call as well as going on more dates and when I realized she could cook for real I got her to apply for some jobs
And with some help of my celebrity friends a got her a job, of course she will never now, at a more well known restaurant in LA
And seeing her happy just made me happy. She did complain she would have to move so I offered that she could move in with me and now we live together and life has never been better
And I walk into on accident the day after a wild party feeling to hung over to care about where I eat

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.
