《Triplets (girlxgirl)》4- Babysitting

Today was the day we would meet with the triplets. It had been a week since we met and now Ren, Zoe and I were on our way to their house and show them around. Ren and Zoe were my two best friends and were in the same level as me which means we pretty much did everything together. Ren was a six foot one muscular werewolf and Zoe was a tiny barely five foot book worm fairy.
I took a deep breath when we drove up to the two story house. It was a normal white house with a porch and a swing. It was in the country, surrounded by forests and a field in their back yard that ran for miles. We got out of the van and walked to the door.
“Man, this is going to be so much fun, hanging out with three gorgeous chicks all day” Ren said with a smirk. Let’s not have the wrong impression here; this werewolf was all bark and no bite. He is the perfect gentleman, waiting for his mate to arrive in his life. It was needless to say that every girl in school was running after him hoping to be the one.
We laughed at his remark as I knocked on the door.
“I’ll get it!” someone inside the house shouted. The door opened and revealed the black haired sister.
“Hi, welcome to our- wow-“she said as she stared at Ren. And that was the beginning of a staring contest.
“Who’s at the door Jess?” a similar voice spoke.
“Uhhhh” was all that she could reply never taking her eyes off Ren. Red arrived behind her with a welcoming smile.
“Hey, what’s going on?” Zoe and I pointed back and forth to Ren and her sister. “Oh, well Jess I guess you found your mate”
“Jess?” No reply. “Jess” Red said snapping her fingers in front of her sisters’ face and there was still no reply. “JESS”
Jess head snapped to the side. “What?” We all burst laughing at their shocked faces.
“Why don’t you all come in? Jamie is finishing getting ready and then you can show us around town” Red said as we went into the house.
“This town is too small, there is nothing much to see here. We are going into the city” I told them. “And if you know where to look, there are some awesome places where the magical beings hang around: bars, shops and all.
“We’re going to Annwn a magical city hidden from humans” Zoe said.
We were waiting in their lovely living room when I heard a sarcastic voice behind me. “Great, the babysitters are here” Jimmy said. Today she had a green unzipped hoodie with a yellow shirt, black cotton pants, blue socks and a red scarf around her neck. Man this girl had absolutely no sense of fashion. She then looked at Ren and then at his entwined hand with Jessica’s’.
“Ugh, you’re one of those” she made a face as she came into the room and went beside Red.
“You have a problem with that sis?” Jess asked with hatred.
“Nope, but I would love to see his face when you tell him what you’ve done. You think he’ll stick around?” Jimmy mocked.
“You bitch” Jess lunged at her sister but was stop by Red who put herself between them.
“Stop it, Stop it! You promised” She looked at both of them “You both promised me that you will stop this quarrel when we arrived here. New town, new beginning. That’s what we agreed on.”

“Fine” Jess angrily said pointing her finger at Jim, “you shut her up or I’ll rip her tongue out” and shoved her way out of the house dragging Ren with her.
“As if you could” Jimmy muttered to herself. I don’t think I was supposed to hear her say that so I pretended not to.
Red stared at Jimmy for a while longer. It seemed they were having yet another mental conversation. After what seemed like an understanding between them, Red looked at Zoe and me and smiled.
“Shall we get going?” she asked as she led us to the door.
After this dramatic event, we all packed ourselves into the van. I was driving with Jasmine in the passenger seat, Jess, Ren and Zoe shared the middle and Jimmy was in the far back seat looking out the window. The city was half an hour away so we talked and laughed all the way there. We compared cities, talked about school and magic. It was quite nice; Jess was charismatic and hyper active. She had that bitchy popular attitude, but it was at a minimal. Red was more quiet but still funny. She and Zoe hit it off pretty fast; talking about god knows what since both of them had a passion for knowledge.
When we arrived into the city, I found a parking spot and got out. Once everyone was ready, we set out onto the street full of citizens going with their business. We found the entry to the magical city hidden from normal human eyes. It was in an alley behind a bar.
“Ready?” I asked the sisters. Jess and Red nodded eager to finally see the city of magic we told them about on the way here. I put one hand on the stoned wall and chanted a few words. I looked back and smiled at them
“Alright, this is it” I said. I pointed to the wall. “All you have to do is walk in”
“Where?” Jess asked
“Through the wall” I replied.
“Through the wall? Are you kidding me?” she said.
“It’s alright babe, I’ll walk with you” Ren told her. He took her hand “On Three” And they walk through the gate. Zoe followed shortly after. I looked at the remaining sisters and found that Jimmy did not look very comfortable with the situation. Good, I felt like teasing her a bit.
“What’s wrong Jim? Too afraid to walk through a wall?” I smirked at her. She looked at me with her dead eyes but her face told me otherwise: She did not look impressed by my question. I stepped towards her still with the smirk on my face. When I came close enough l leaned down since I towered over her with my five foot nine figure.
“Afraid of the unknown, little hybrid?” I whispered into her ear. She backed up a little and stared me up and down. I knew what she saw, I am beautiful beyond normal. I was a tall woman with perfect pale skin that shined in the sun. My white braided hair fell to my mid back and my eyes were a deep forest green. I had a small button nose with high cheekbones and a gentle pointy chin. I was muscular because of my years of training and my legs, as people would say, ran down forever. My chest was not huge but it was big enough and my body was perfectly curved.
When Jimmy looked back into my eyes, I was not as unsettled as before, for I was getting used to her intense stare. “You wish to play this game little albino?” She whispered back to me. My smirk turned into a full grin as I tilted my head to the side.

“I will play whatever game you want me to sweet heart” I told her in a seductive voice. She raised an eyebrow for that last comment, and then bit her lip. My eyes lingered to her motion; I didn’t think she knew what she was doing.
“Well, shall we go girls?” Red said, breaking our little moment. She had a knowing smile on her face as she looped arms with her sister. Together they walked through the wall and I followed after them.
The magical city was called Annwn. It means “otherworld” in Welsh mythology. As every Saturday, the city was full of different species roaming around the roads. There were cars, flying carpets and many different steeds. The architecture was more old fashion and most of the buildings were made out of brick and wood. There were shops everywhere. Magic shops, restaurant, bars, clothing shops but every one of them was specifically made for magical creatures. We spent all day going into the shops, buying things and visiting monuments.
It was now the afternoon and we stopped at a small café for a break. Jess, Ren and Zoe were off buying some more clothes. I don’t know how they still had energy from walking all day, but I was toasted. Now it was only me, Red and Jim, sitting at a table watching pedestrians walk along the street.
“So, Jimmy, are you enjoying your day?” I asked but I got no answer as she ignored me. I was so sick and tired of her attitude all day that I had no more patience towards her.
“Ok, what is your problem?” I snapped shutting her phone with my hands. She looked at me, clearly not impressed by my outburst but I was too angry to back down.
“I’m ignoring you” she said as if it was obvious.
“Why?”
“Because I don’t appreciate having a babysitter”
“So basically your sulking?” I asked. Jimmy seemed to think for a moment then answered in a bored tone ”Yep” and picked her phone back up started to play on it again. It was true; the principal has sent me here to keep an eye on them.
“Well you obviously need one.” I grumpily said “What with the performance you had last week”
“I didn’t do anything last week”
“You killed a man without bashing an eyelash”
“So?” she asked me. “He didn’t die did he?” I let out an exasperated sigh.
“You are emotionally deranged you know that right?” I told her. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
“What do you know about emotions?” she asked. “How many girls did you sleep with again?” Now how did she know about my sex life? But she was right, was I better than her?
“Well, I’ve hit a nerve” she smiled at me. “So?”
“I lost count” I replied. She burst laughing and went back to her phone as if she’d won the argument.
“You are so full of yourself aren’t you?” I asked angrily
“No, I just don’t care”
“You’re full of bullshit”
“I never ate nor rolled myself in shit. And I never seen a bull up close” Shocked, I looked at Red’s sympathetic face.
“Is she for real?” I asked her
“Unfortunately” she said sadly. I took a deep the breath, deciding to change the subject before things got really bad. I looked back at Jim
“How much of your supernatural being has awoken in you?”
“What are you?” she looked at me in curiosity.
“I’m an Angel”
“Really?” Red said.
“How fascinating.” Jimmy said sarcastically. “So you are a guardian angel? Or maybe a dark angel?”
I shook my head; “No, I’m not. I’m a being born of pure magic. I’m neither good nor bad and all the stories about my kind are just crap”.
“Bummer” Jimmy said. “I liked the baby one”.
‘Breathe Siana, breathe. She is pushing you on purpose.’ I thought.
“Jamie, why don’t you go get us some coffee, you know what I like” Red said to her sister sensing I was losing my control over my patience. I took out some money and gave it to Jimmy. I was not going to let her disturb me. “Why don’t you get me a large latte too?”
“Are you trying to get rid of me, albino?” Jimmy asked as she rose from her chair. If I was not so mad right now I wouldn’t have replied the way I did. “I would pay much more to get rid of you” I said.
Jimmy smiled and raised her hand, palm up. She bent down where our noses were almost touching.
“Pay me double to get rid of me and I’ll even get you a cookie”
When I looked into in her eyes I got lost. How was it possible to have eyes that showed no emotions? What happened with Jess that made them hate each other? I was so curious as to why she was different from her siblings that I totally forgot to stay mad at her. I took out another five bucks and gave it to her.
“Take as long as you can” I told her with a wink.
After I watched her leave I turned my attention to Red. I was not expecting her face beaming with joy as she looked at me. She squealed and shot up from her seat and hugged the life out of me.
“Thankyouthankyouthankyou” she laughed as she kissed my cheeks over and over.
“Red, I can’t breathe, can’t breathe” I choked out. Man, was I confused, and scared. She stopped hugging me, cupped my face and stared in my eyes.
“This is the first time in six years that Jimhaya willingly talked to someone other than me and Jess.” Red told me with tears in her eyes.
“I thought Jimmy hated Jess” I said
“Hate is a strong word. But Jamie insults Jess; it’s kind of her guilty pleasure.”
“What about your parents?”
“Only if she’s obligated” She replied. “Oh, this is going to be a great year. I hope you stick around”
“She hates me” I told her. Had she just missed our fight two seconds ago?
“No, she likes you. People she doesn’t like, she doesn’t talk to. Unless she wants to hurt someone” Red laughed. Well, if she did, she had a bad way of showing it. I looked behind her and saw the time.
“Oh shit, we’re going to be late for the game” I told Red removing her hands from my face. I grabbed the bags of new clothes and objects we bought during the day and started to walk away when I remembered “What about your sister?”
“She’ll be ok” Red smiled. “She’ll catch up. Don’t worry, she won’t be lost. She always knows where I am” I frowned at her remark, but the way Red looked at me told me that she was not going to clarify her statement.
“If you’re sure” I shrugged and we started to talk about happier things.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.

Once you go Wuxxia you never go back. [Not a Parody but moreso a revised wuxxia.]
Robert Nord wakes up from a deep sleep, one he regreted to ever take. Instead of waking up to his well-known, stark, eggshell-white ceiling, atop his luxurious 800€ mattress with down feather duvet and fluffy cushions, he finds himself staring at molden planks of wood, a stench of sweat, blood and iron mellowing in the air. A world of swords that sunder oceans and fists that crack mountainsides. This is a world known throughout the dimensions, a world of wuxxia and xianxia. (This fiction will be parodying many a wuxxia and hopefully do a good job with it. Not only will I try and stress the most ridiculous down-sides of wuxxias but I will also take a shot at making it enjoyable while I'm at it. And don't be fooled by the Lit-RPG tag, after all, every MC needs his secret weapon, regardless how much they try to deny it.)
