Ambrosia was a ghost the next morning, slipping on her lace lingerie and whatever tight dress that came fresh from the store and waited in her closet. Her room had become drastically colder and she peered through the cracks of the boards that trapped her window to see glimpses of white. Either the house had stored so much cocaine it was overflowing or the weather had finally brought snow.

Ambrosia was escorted to breakfast by a silent Daniel who did not eat with her. While she walked downstairs to the kitchen she looked out the windows to find that it in fact did snow last night. Daniel only came back to send her to the room where she had been located yesterday to wait.

Ambrosia had been objected to the gratification of two men, the men involved in the illegal weapons containment. Today was the last day she would have to please them, the last day that would seal the deal for Avril and Dante. The day that would extend their drug sourcing from sea to upstate and line their hungry wallets with stacks of cash.

Ambrosia understood that she had gone through one man successfully without any intercourse by demanding to please him first. Who was to say she couldn't do it again.

However, playing the role of Ivy was going to consume her, even though Elias had forgotten her, Ambrosia had already lost herself.

Ambrosia sat on the bed of the guest room, her purse neatly tucked underneath the pillow on her side, and the sheets disheveled around her body. She waited, staring at the clock that defined her life in the Hill residence. It was snowing, so from this, she gathered it was late December...Ambrosia had been in this house for almost two months.

This damn house.

To think, this whole thing was started by her grandmother. Not only was her Grandmother and Tania running this scheme of drug trafficking but Ambrosia's own "friend with benefits" had been using her to keep track of her grandmother's business. Dante used Elias, most likely in the way he is brainwashing him now, to kill her grandmother to obtain the drug house. While her own sister, her own blood, went over the summer knowing full well of her grandmother's identity and went behind her back to hire Avril for Dante.

All Ambrosia's father wanted was to hide the horrible deeds of his mother, he wanted to paint her as an angel, and this house as her hard-earned heaven.

The door opened and a broad-shouldered blonde strode in. He closed the door and examined Ambrosia before licking his lips and ridding himself of his leather jacket. His hair was swooped to the side and his straight nose held a small gold nose ring.

Ambrosia sighed softly pulling her hair, that had been twisted for this occasion, over one shoulder. She struck up a smile and climbed off the bed, swaying her hips as she walked towards the man.

He was quick to snatch Ambrosia's face into his large hands and forcefully crush his lips onto hers. Ambrosia winced and reluctantly wrapped her arms around him as he started to feel her body. Ambrosia finished up one of many passionless kisses and began to undo the man's jeans.

"Not yet," he barked grabbing her hips and pushing her back onto the bed. Ambrosia's eyes widened as he forced her dress up and inched her underwear to the side. She clutched the bedsheets in fear as he insisted to go down on her, this was not what she had been expecting.

The blonde moved his tongue wildly and slid his hand up her stomach to push up the rest of her dress. Ambrosia breathed sporadically unable to keep in her gasps of concern.

"Feels nice, hm?" The man spoke driving his fingers up and down her sacred section. Ambrosia did not respond and only looked up at the ceiling her teeth tugging at her red bottom lip.

As he finished her off, the broad man began to remove his own clothing, showing off the mass of black tattoos that trailed from his chest to his arms. At this sight Ambrosia began to scramble back, knowing full well what was about to happen to her.

"Don't worry, I'll be gentle, girly."

The man grinned and grabbed her leg yanking her back towards and spread her thighs now with both hands. Ambrosia reached around her head with wide eyes, her body trembled as her oppressor moved the fabric of her undergarments aside and began to take advantage of her.

Her hands had finally found the underside of her pillow and she scratched open her purse to grab the gun. Whipping it out to point at his face, Ambrosia had caught the man in shock which soon melted into a twisted rage.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing bitch?!"

He stumbled back and hurriedly pulled on his pants without bothering to button up his shirt. The man also had a gun that revealed itself from the inside of his leather jacket.

Ambrosia's hands shook with the cocked gun and earned a slap across her face which sent the gun sprawling to the floor. The man grabbed her by her shoulder and dragged her out of the room.

"Dante, get your fucking slut!" he screamed heaving in a deep breath as he made his clatter down the hallway.

Several men who had been gathered in the library busted through the door and stared at the man struggling to keep Ambrosia steady as she thrashed against him.

"Let go of me, let me fucking go!" Ambrosia cried.

Dante appeared from the gathering group and pulled Ambrosia up.

"What the hell happened, here?!" he questioned, burning his eyes into Ambrosia.

"Your bitch pulled a gun on me!"

Ambrosia was now struggling to stand and her eyes bore an onslaught of tears. She cowered under Dante's punishing grip and he pushed her towards a familiar body.

Elias stood numbly grasping her wrist. He was wearing a white tank top and sweat-drenched it along with his brow. He frowned at Ambrosia and she whimpered as he pulled her away from the scene, she tried to clutch onto his silver chain.

"Get rid of her, now!" Dante exclaimed out before turning back to hid infuriated client. He held his hands up peacefully and flashed a simple smile as he tried to convince the man that they meant no harm and Ambrosia would be taken care of.

"She's going to fucking cost you," the man snarled buttoning his shirt.

Ambrosia hobbled with Elias to the back porch, where her sister had been shot and was released near an overgrown bush.

Elias rubbed his face and hunched over for a moment, he was breathing heavily. Ambrosia stood uneasily watching him, through the haze of her tears she could see that he had grown considerably pale in the sunlight and his hands were twitching momentarily.

Elias looked up at Ambrosia and took his gun out.

"I can't see you clearly, come closer," he rasped.

Ambrosia muttered a pathetic no and only moved backwards causing Elias to take a step forward. His hand shielded his eyes as if the sun had been blazing down on them. Ambrosia shivered as a gust of cold winter wind blew past them.

"Fuck, I can't...I need my pills," Elias mumbled pulling back at his curly brown hair, his eyes were frantic. Ambrosia took another step back.

"I need them, it's just—shut up, fuck me, I can't focus...have you seen her, Elias, where is she, Elias...does mother have the, where are they?" Elias began to ramble his hands toying with the gun and waving it around.

"I've got to kill you."

Ambrosia shook her head, the pain of fear welling up in her throat, "No, please, you don't!"

"I do, I do," Elias insisted tapping the gun onto his temple before wiping the sweat from his face on his equally sweaty arm.

"Damn, I said shut the fuck up, I'm in control now!"

Ambrosia jumped as Elias screamed at her even though she had not said anything. Elias pointed the gun at her squinting and then widening his eyes, his pupils fully contracted. A loud yell came from behind the two and Daniel could be seen running up from behind grabbing Elias by the back of his collar.

"Listen you can't kill her!" Daniel claimed while trying to get ahold of the gun in Elias's flailing hand.

"Dante said so, I just—I need my pills," Elias chanted withering away from Daniel.

"She's pregnant okay I—pills you need pills?" Daniel pulled out the small bag Ambrosia had stolen from Elias's room and her eyes enlarged themselves, "how about these, yeah?"

At the display of his pills, Elias had thrown Daniel back with an emotion that could only be described as deathly wrath.

"How the hell do you have my pills?!"

Elias tried to grab the bag and smacked Daniel in the jaw with the blunt of his gun. Daniel punched him back staggering Elias but was soon kicked down.

Ambrosia managed to break out a scream in the midst of the fight and begged for Elias to stop, this was not the favor of both males and they continued to beat each other. Unable to see a clear winner, Ambrosia cautiously watched the pill bag as it slipped from Daniel's grasp. Elias had noticed it too and doe to the ground to retrieve it, however, Ambrosia had already snatched it between her slim fingers.

Their eyes met and Ambrosia knew if she didn't turn to dash at that very moment a bullet would have been placed right between her eyes. Daniel grabbed Elias and pulled him back as Ambrosia ran full speed in a curving pattern into the woodland area of the property. Elias yelled curses and nonsense in absolute exasperation as Daniel wrestled him for the gun.

Ambrosia flinched as bare tree branches snagged at her arms and dress but she continued to pound her bare feet in the bitter fresh snow and despite the growing pain in her chest from the cold air, she pushed on. It had only taken a few minutes for footsteps to pursue her from behind and Ambrosia glanced back to see Elias's slim form tracking her down. Ambrosia stumbled through until she met the place of her grandmother's death. The lake had indicated the end of the Hill residence's land, beyond this lake was free territory.

In the hot pursuit of Elias stalking behind her, Ambrosia waddled into the edge of the massive lake knowing full well he couldn't go in the water. Elias, breathing heavily, leaned forward trying to grab her back, his mouth quivered as he spoke.

"Give them to me, please, I need them, they help me, I can't control this."

Ambrosia watched him with a tense body as she stepped farther from him holding that bag over the water. She looked down, she was now waist-deep and the extremely cold liquid surrounding her, it began to numb her legs. Elias held out his gun aiming it at her, his intentions seemed devilish but his busted and bloody lips drooped and his hollow eye pleaded anguish.

"These-these are not the right pills, Elias you have to believe me," she wailed.

Elias's face twitched in a confused manner and he shook his head tears beginning to form near the rims of his eyes.

"Dante is helping me do my job, he is—"

"No, Elias, he's abusing you," Ambrosia screamed string her vocal cords letting tears plummet into the water rising to her chest, "You are ill Elias, he's been exploiting you like-like your mother."

Elias froze for a moment and his gun hit the ground, he began to climb into the water after Ambrosia. "H-how do you know about my mother?"

"Because I know you, Elias, I'm your flower."

Ambrosia opened the bag and held it up with two hands.

"Your flower, Elias," Ambrosia flipped over the bag with those words, and Elias screamed for her to stop as the small pills followed her tears into the dark abyss of the icy water.

Elias swam forward and coughed as the assumed fear of water rendered him completely useless. His eyes shot around wildly as he reached around for something to break him from his watery hell of a trance. Ambrosia swam to him and pulled him along the bank of the lake and he laid down clutching his chest. Elias turned to silently cry and raked his hands repeatedly through his hair.

Ambrosia sat in the blatant trauma she had been apart of and stared out into the lake while laying a hand on her shaking lover. She felt as one with the vast amount of reeds and orange flowers scattered around her and Elias. Elias disturbed this peace as he slowly uncurled himself and sat up. His head turned towards Ambrosia and he stared picking up his gun.

Fearful, Ambrosia got up and even at the moment when the adrenaline hadn't finished pulsing through her body, as Elias trembled in front of her with swollen stressed eyes, Ambrosia could not reject the horrible pain that struck her heart as she realized what he had to do.

The gun was aimed for her chest but Elias's hand dropped back to the ground, defeated.

"I can't kill you," Elias croaked his voice was tight with sorrow, "I just can't do it, he won't let me."

A moment of stillness had passed through the woods to acknowledge his acceptance of her and Ambrosia's heart twinged in the revelation.

"Who-who won't let you?"

"Elias."

What?

Ambrosia blinked and looked at Elias as he closed his eyes grimacing at his mumbling words.

"Do you remember me, your Ambrosia, your flower?" She wavered.

Elias opened his eyes and looked down shaking his head. Ambrosia heart bloated with grief and she placed her hands on her head beginning to sob.

"You want to kill me?"

"I already told you, I just-I can't do it." Elias sputtered rising to his feet. There was indeed someone else in front of Ambrosia.

"There is no...escape, I'm going to die here..." Ambrosia groaned and swiped her hand over her tear ridden face.

"Shoot me, in the leg," she spoke lowly.

Elias face contorted into shock and he gripped the gun.

"What?"
