Pop!

"The celebrations start now!" Calem said while opening the champagne bottle and lifting it up. Well, it was the time of the pre-ceremony before the wedding which was tomorrow. I just wore my suit, and just roaming around in search of Gary. Suddenly, a voice came from behind.

"Hey Ash!"

I turned around and saw it was Drew. He approached me and asked," Hey, have you seen May?"

"Um, I don't know. Have you seen Gary? I am searching him." I replied.

"Um, no. Hey wait, see there they are." Drew pointed his finger. I turned towards the direction where the finger was pointed and saw Gary and May along with Clemont and Dawn. We then approached them.

"Oh ho! Ashy boy, you look dashing." Gary said.

"Well, I am always dashing." I replied.

"Oh really, then I take my words back." He said to which we all laughed.

"Well, I don't know. Actually, I lost a chance once, and I guess that was my only chance. Still, I am a guy of thousand thoughts, maybe, my life is not completely as hell." I replied."Hey Ash, everyone here has engaged his or her life with someone.What about you man?" Drew asked to which I had no answer. I turned my head toGary and Dawn, and they were also silent, looking back to me. I took and a deepbreath, remembering the time spent by me with Serena.

"Wait, who was that unlucky girl, who didn't fall on you?" Clemont asked.

"Clemont, just leave it. Hey, I am going to the bar. Anyone want to join?" I asked. No one replied.

"Well, I take it as no." I said and left the group and started walking to the bar. Before I was going to reach the bar, my eyes fell upon an angel, walking towards me. It was none other than Serena. Wait, why does she seem tensed?

"What happened Serena?" I asked.

"Ash, see this. One of my earrings is broken and I don't have a new one right now. What shall I do? Today's the pre-ceremony, and I am not wearing earrings. It's awful. What shall I do now?" she continued asking questions. Man, she was asking questions again and again. I grabbed her shoulders with my arms to calm her down.

"Serena, calm down." I said.

"How can I calm down?" she asked. I took a little sigh and then lifted my hand and moved some of her hair forward to cover the ear with no earing.

"See? Problem solved." I replied.

"See? Problem solved." He replied.

"Oh, nice way! Thanks." I said to which he gave a small smile. I don't know why, but when Ash adjusted my hair, it felt a little different. I don't know why is this feeling. As I was in a deep thought, I heard my name coming from a loudspeaker.

"SERENA!"

I turned around and saw it was Calem, with a mic in his hand.

"Serena, I know I have done this before. But now, I want to do this in front of everybody. So, Serena, would you like to marry me?" he asked. I don't know why, but I turned my head towards Ash, who's face seemed like little disappointed. But then, he bent his head down, and lifted up with a small smile on his face. I turned towards Calem, who was standing there, for listening my reply.

"YES!" I replied to which everyone clapped and Calem approached me and hugged me tightly. I also hugged him back.

I don't know why, but I felt, something is wrong.

"YES!" Serena replied and everyone clapped, but not me. This actually broke me, and that too for real. I still plastered a small smile on my face, showing all of them that I am happy.

"Hey Ash, you're fine?" Gary asked with a serious tone.

"Yeah, I am fine, for now I guess." I replied and left everyone silently.

I guess, I haven't moved on yet.
