《More Than You Realize》Chapter 45: A Powering Desire

There's no way I did this! Everything is... DESTROYED! Burnt. My emotions got the better of me... again. Maybe "Krill" was right. Maybe I'm just a danger to everyone I know and care for. I can't risk hurting them like I did Spency and that imagined Krill.
"I'm a walking killing machine," I sighed while looking at the landscape covered in black soot. "Why am I losing myself?"
I looked down to the ground, looking at the some of the only non-charred grass below. Most of it was crushed under my feet, but a few strands of grass swayed in the slightly blowing breeze.
"How can I keep myself calm around the others?" I questioned as I used my foot to scuff the dirt below. I let myself gulp out of my own fear.
I looked around at the destroyed area, admitting that I had done this out of fear and anger. Krill wasn't even here, yet I still lost myself. Spency... well, he just pissed me off more recently.
"Maybe I can't?" I said to myself questionably. "Maybe I can't keep my cool around them. Maybe that hallucination of Krill was right. I just need to isolate myself from them. Yeah, that would keep safe from the likes of me."
"Sabre? What are you doing... AND WHAT HAPPENED?!" Jake exclaimed as the group emerged from the charred trees.
I flinched as I turned to face them. Everyone was examining the blackened landscape carefully, taking in every feature it offered.
Void Steve grumbled as he ran his hand across the bark of a tree.
Everyone's eyes stared at me, examining my own body for any damages or proof that I caused this destruction. I peeled my eyes away from the group and looked around once again.
"Well... kind of..." I mumbled. "I may have... lost my sanity for a minute."
"For what reason? What caused you to do such a thing-ARE THOSE BODY PARTS!" Kylie yelled while pointing to the body parts. Everyone snapped their heads towards where she was pointing to.
Void Steve exclaimed.
"What the actual crap!" Ty called out in shock.
I couldn't respond with any actual words. Everything came out as a lingering stutter, or just huffs of breath. My voice seemed lost in the abyss of my dark mindset. Where did the words I use to speak go?
"Sabre?" Jake questioned as his hand found a place on my shoulder.
"I DID ALL OF THIS!" I called out in a panic. Finally, my voice came back to me.
Everyone fell silent, and only my labored breathing filled my ears. My head felt a thousand times heavier than before, almost ready to explode.
"Sabre..." Kylie mumbled. I couldn't tell what emotion filled her tone. Shock, dread, fear. I could hear those.
"I-I'm sorry! I lost it! Spency tried to take me down and my anger literally took control of me. I blacked out, and when I came to, I was greeted with this! Then, I saw Krill; well, a hallucination of him. He kept taunting me. Telling me that I couldn't control myself and that I would be a danger to you guys. I lost it again. I guess "he" was right. I can't keep you guys safe. I can only harm," I explained as tears filled my eyes and ran down my cheeks.

"Sabre! Calm down! Everything is okay!" Jake yelled as his hands clasped on my shoulders. He shakes me slightly.
"Jake! This is NOT okay! I can't help any of you. I can only harm! Do you guys not realize the amount of danger you guys are in when you're around me?!" I screamed.
Everyone gasped. My face snapped towards my right side. My head didn't move back after the fact, though. My cheek stung and my mind was in too much shock to respond to the slap. However, I was able to force my head to move a little bit to face my friends and brother.
Jake has his hand swung off to the side in front of everyone else. He was breathing hard, as if he had just ran a race.
"Jake?" I muttered slightly only to get cut off by his own screaming.
"Are you calling us stupid?! Oblivious?! Are you saying we can't realize how badly you can't control your abilities?!" Jake yelled. My mind couldn't respond. "Well, thanks a lot, brother. You've made, me at least, feel very special. You're welcome for our help I once helped take part it."
With that note, Jake walked away. I could feel the pain from the stabbing words pierce my exposed my heart. The pain stung my whole body like a thousand needles poking at every inch of my skin.
I didn't think that the others would leave. I thought they would stay to help me deal with this. However, with a sad look of disappointment, all left except Void Steve.
he mumbled before glancing at the destruction I had caused.
With that note, he left. I felt betrayed, but not because of my friends. I felt betrayed at myself. My actions caused me to loose control over something I was meant to control. Void Steve was right. I can't control myself. All of this is my fault, my FAILURE.
"I've failed. I'm just a failure," I mumbled as my limbs began to go weak. My knees gave out as I fell to the ground. My hands and arms caught my body before I could completely collapse to the ground.
"Everything is so questionable now, isn't it?" a taunting voice spoke. I didn't feel like looking around to find the voice.
"Are you real this time? Or just another cursed hallucination that caused this mess?" I growled.
"Don't worry about a thing, Sabre Favre. I'm very much real this time around," Krill laughed. I sighed.
"Well, what do you want? If you're here to kill me, be my guest," I said looking out onto the water for what could be the last time.
"Oh, but what would be the fun in that? As much as I would love to strike you down for good right here and now, I'd like to play a game first," Krill taunted. I growled in response.
"I don't want to play any of your stupid games," I said.
Suddenly, I felt Krill latch just hand onto the back of my onesie and yanked me up by the hood. I let out a gasp as the front of the onesie began to choke me.

"I think you'll like this game, Sabre. And besides, it not like you have a choice on the matter," Krill laughed.
I snapped my head back to look at him; big mistake. I felt my body go limp in his grip after a bright white light blinded me.
My foot kicked another rock across the field the others and I were in. We really didn't have a clue about where to go now.
"Where do we go from here?" Kylie asked while her foot scuffed the ground below. I sighed and looked at what was remaining of our group.
The group only consisted of Ty, Kylie, Void Steve, and me at this point.
"I don't know anymore. How are we suppose to take down Krill if Sabre has basically lost his sanity?" I questioned. My sadness and anger seeped through my voice to the point I recognized the tone.
Void Steve sighed as he looked around the area.
"Luckily, we have the Relical Orb and not Sabre. His power would be unstoppable in his unstable state with the orb," I commented.
"Isn't this a little harsh? I agree that Sabre is not stable, but abandoning him? Wouldn't that make it worse?" Ty asked with some fear in his voice.
"Possibly. What do you think Jake? He is your brother after all," Kylie said.
"It could've. Should we go back for him? We really didn't give him much time to explain," I mumbled.
Void Steve said as he began to track his way back to where we left Sabre.
Before we could get back to the location, a bright light emitted from the forest. We all flinched and looked at the light and watched closely as it began to die down.
"That's about where we left Sabre! Hurry!" I yelled in a panic.
We all began to rush towards the location, making sure to dodge branches and bushes quickly so we didn't get slowed down too much.
Soon, we arrived at the scorched location. My heart dropped at the sight.
"Wh-where is he?" I stuttered when I didn't see Sabre.
Void Steve said painfully.
"I think it was..." I muttered before dropping to the ground. "Now... we have no clue where he is..."
"Void Steve, can you sense him?" Kylie asked hopefully.
I looked over to Void Steve only to see him with his eyes closed and head faced towards the ground. He scrunched his face up, as if attempting to locate Sabre.
Void Steve said lowly. I almost teared up.
"But he's still alive?" I asked hopefully.
Void Steve replied. I let out a small sign of relief.
"Well, we need to find him," Ty said. "Void Steve, lead the way. If we have any hope of finding Sabre again, it's you."
Void Steve nodded his head before walking over to my slouched figure. He extended his hand out to me and waited for me to grab his hand.
I looked at his hand before looking up to his pain-filled face. I looked back to his hand before clutching onto it tightly and allowing myself to be pulled up.
"Let's go find my brother," I said with a small smile on my face.
Finally. After watching this kid for so long, he's finally mine.
I couldn't help but watch as the chained-up Sabre slept on my bed.
My hand traveled up Sabre's side of his body and all the way up to his bandana. Slowly, my hand traveled behind his head to find the knot. After I found it, my fingers untied the loose knot.
I clutched onto a part of the bandana and pulled it off of Sabre's face. Then, I tied it around my own wrist.
I let out a sigh with a genuine smile as I admired the bandana around my wrist.
"This is perfect. Not only can no one stop me in my plans for this world, but the only one that stood a chance is in my grasp now. And he's all mine. No one will take MY Sabre from me~" I growled with a smirk. I could hear my own lust in my voice.
"Krill?" a worker of mine questioned as he walked in. I growled, but turned to face him. He flinched when I did. "Y-your eyes are pink!"
"Oh really? That's just my yandere lust coming out. Mhmhmh. Please, continue with what you were going to say," I chuckled almost insanely.
"Well... Sabre's friends... they are on their way to get Sabre back," the worker stuttered nervously.
I growled loudly.
"WHAT!" I yelled. "How do they know he's here?!"
"I think the Steve can sense Sabre's aura," the worker replied.
"No one is taking MY Sabre from me! Send all we got at them. They will not tear me and MY Sabre apart," I growled before walking closer to Sabre. The worker didn't waste time in closing the door and running away.
"Sabre. Wake up, now," I growled while shaking him roughly. He winced in pain before opening his eyes.
"What the-KRILL!" he yelled before trying to get away. However, he wasn't able to due to the chains. "What is going on!"
I smiled at him. He was so adorable like this.
"You're friends have already noticed your disappearance. Fortunately, they are far away for the moment. That gives us plenty of time to have some fun," I said with a smirk. He looked at me fearfully.
"Y-you're insane!" he yelled at me. I chuckled at the comment.
"Only for you, my Sabre," I replied. He looked at me questionably before looking around the room. I followed his gaze as he looked between the many weapons in the room.
"Y-you're y-yandere!" he exclaimed before struggling even more than before. I chuckled insanely.
"You notice things quickly. Yes, Sabre. I am yandere. Since the moment I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one. No one will tear us apart, " I chuckled. "Now, my dear. Let us get acquainted, shall we?"

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
