《More Than You Realize》Chapter 26: Sabre's Back Home!

"Are you sure this is it?" Alex asked hiding behind Galaxy Steve slightly. He didn't really want to show the slight fear he had right now. I nodded my head.

"I've walked in and out of this door more times than I can remember," I replied. He whimpered slightly, and I laughed a little bit.

"Awe... big brother is scared," Mary joked punching him slightly. He didn't glare or even get smart with her. This took us all by shock.

Void Steve said walking ahead of us. He opened the door, only to fall back in pain. We all jumped and watched as Void Steve held his face in pain.

I looked up to the insane Sabre with swords in both hands. One had some blood dripping from the tip. His whole body moved up and down with his breathing.

Void Steve mumbled as he rolled around in the ground. I've never heard him cuss before. 🤦🏻‍♀️

"Sabre! What the heck?!" I yelled helping Void Steve off of the ground. He moved his hands to see who was helping him. I could see the nasty scar that stretched across his slightly uncovered face. Sabre let out an evil chuckle.

"What's wrong? I think it suits him quite well," Sabre said swinging his weapons around. Some of Void Steve's blood went flying.

"Yes, Sabre. I think it does as well," Ty said as he emerged from behind my brother. I growled at the evil hybrid.

"Tyler... step away from my brother!" I yelled as I began to charge at them. Ty smirked.

Before I could land a blow on them, the scenery changed. We were all in some sort of galaxy like area. There wasn't much, except for the 8 of us. I narrowed my eyes at the two evil like characters.

"Someone looks ready for a fight, Jake," Sabre said with a smirk plastered on his face. I growled at them. I was getting sick of Sabre's attitude even though I knew he couldn't control it. "Hmm... I'll grant your little wish. Wanna fight?"

He tapped his sword against the galaxy like ground below. He seemed like we were floating because nothing came out of that. I hummed.

"Let's..." I said clenching my fists tightly. Sabre let out a laugh before charging in my direction. I couldn't help but smirk as he neared me.

Just before he reached me, I jumped into the air to dodge him. His sword hit nothing, but continued with the attack it started with. He growled before getting ready to attack me once again. Of course, I wasn't going to allow that.

I used my own powers to move out of the way. He jumped into the air after me, using his air powers to fly. He rushed towards me once again, so I dodged once again.

No matter how many times he attacked, I was able to dodge just in time. I was still fine, but Sabre was worn out. Ty growled a little bit; seeing Sabre's weakened state.

"Come on, Sabre. Don't let him get to you," Ty said letting his eyes flash red. Sabre's eyes went wide and flashed red as well.

"StOp TaLkInG lIkE wE'rE fRiEnDs!" he yelled as he charged at me once again. I dodged once again, making him growl at me. "GeT bAcK hErE jAkE! We CaN wOrK tHiS oUt!"

"Yeah... we can. Probably not in the way you are thinking, though," I replied. Sabre growled, and, once again, charged at me. This time, however, I wasn't able to dodge.

He barely touched me on my shoulder, but it was enough to draw some blood. I grabbed my shoulder in pain. It didn't leave any bad mark, but the pain was still there.

"Sabre... you're stronger than him. Fight whatever he is using on you! Sabre, brother, come back to us," I said holding out my hand to him.

He stared at my hand. His hair swayed as he maintained his balance in the air. His pure red eyes glared holes through me; I could feel it. Suddenly, his expression softened. The swords were released from his grip. Everyone below jumped out of the way so the swords would pierce them.

"J-Jake..." he mumbled. The insanity left his eyes. His left eye converted back to its normal yellow. I couldn't help but smile at this sight. He smiled as well. "JAKE!"

He engulfed me in a hug, completely ignoring my extended hand. We both laughed, hugging each other tightly in our arms.

"No!" Tyler yelled from down below. We made our way back to the ground, ignoring him for the meantime.

Everyone engulfed Sabre in a hug. Everyone was laughing, and telling Sabre how happy they were he was back. I knew he was back to normal, for good. He was so upset at himself for injuring Void Steve the way he did.

Void Steve said waving his hand a little bit.

"DON'T THINK YOU HAVE WON!" Tyler yelled from behind us. We all turned around to see the fire from his anger in his black eyes.

Suddenly, he was engulfed in some black mist. It swirled around his body, making it to where we couldn't see anything of him. We all backed away some, a little scared about what was going on.

This mist died down fairly quickly. All of us gasped in shock by what was revealed. It was still Ty, not doubt about that. However, he looked so much different. His wings are now demon like, no feathers. He didn't have his black cloak on. It was replaced by spiky hair with a small red streak and a long red drench coat.

"Now, I will show you TRUE power!" Ty yelled demonically. He summoned some sort of staff, which was glowing menacingly. We all huddled together, scared for what he was going to do; we kinda knew what he was going to do, though.

"No!" Sabre yelled running in front of our group. I held my hand out to him, but something held me back. I withdrew my hand into my chest. Ty stopped his attack, and stared at Sabre. A smirk formed on Ty's lips.

"Oh, Sabre. How about I show you how powerful I really am?" Ty snarked. As if on cue, a black mist formed around our group, except for Sabre. Alex called out in fear, getting Sabre's attention.

I blinked, and I was met with the green grass of the over world.

I watched as the black mist swirled around my friends and brother. I felt bounded to my place as the mist, slowly, died out. They were gone.

Tyler's laugh filled the galaxy like area. I didn't know what to do. I felt helpless and weak... yet somehow so powerful.

"So? What do you think of this power you've supplied me with?" Tyler asked. I could hear the smirk in his voice. He sounded so cocky, so confident. I growled in return to his question.

"You'll pay for what you did to me AND my friends!" I yelled turning to face the new Ty. He flapped his demon like wings, which pushed him into the air. I felt all of my powers circulate through my blood stream. I felt my power being amplified.

"Show me, Sabre! Show me this so called power you feel!" Ty yelled from way in the air. 'I guess he can mind read.'

I felt myself being consumed by more abilities as I let them flow freely. The power died down some, but not too much. Ty glared at me.

I could see that my appearance had changed slightly. I felt more hair on top of my head. I looked down to my clothing. My jacket went down, almost touching the ground, and was a bright yellow with red ends. My shirt and pants were both blood red, and I had yellow knee guards.

"Hmm... I must admit. This does seem like a powerful source. However, it's no match for MY power!" Tyler proclaimed as he began to charge another attack.

Quickly, I drew two separate swords. One was pure blue, and water like. The other was pretty normal, but the sharp edge was on fire. He drew another sword, and this one was a dark red and had an evil aura emitting from it. As he went to attack me, I blocked the attack with my swords.

We slashed our weapons back and forth for the longest time. Neither one of us could land a hit on one another. We just kept blocking each other's attacks. Both of us got angry at this, but he was more angry than me.

Finally, I was able to land a hit on Ty. My water sword slashed across his face, somehow leaving a deep cut across his face. He fell back some, holding the cut in pain. He took his hand away before growling at me.

"You'll pay, Sabre!" Ty exclaimed before rushing at me. I flew up and dodged the oncoming attack. He just continued to follow me. Maybe angering him wasn't the best idea, but I wasn't going to allow him to win.

Once again, no matter how many times he tried to attack me, he failed. I kept moving before he could hit me. This only angered him more, though.

Finally, I got tired of dodging his attacks, so I attacked myself. This caught him off guard. I was able to strike him down to the "ground" below.

The tense atmosphere began to leave. I could tell that I won this little battle. I let out a sigh of relief. Slowly, I made my way towards the ground. Just as I did, I felt this new attire begin to leave. I looked down to make sure it all left. I could even feel my bandana appear around my eyes.

I looked around, not seeing anything worth staying for. I summoned all of my powers into some teleportation magic. I appeared back into the over world. I heard faint sounds of sobbing, so I turned to face it. I couldn't help but smile as I faced my friends.

"Hey, guys!" I spoke. All except Alex was crying and holding each other tightly. Each one flinched as I spoke.

"SBE!!!" they all yelled as they saw me. All engulfed me in a hug. It was nice, but I couldn't breath.

I groaned as I opened my eyes once again. I was still in this Galaxy Room. Sabre was gone, as were his... friends. Them... they ruined EVERYTHING! My plan was all working out! All that had to be done was get rid of them or leave them here! WHY DO THEY ALWAYS GET IN MY WAY!

"Those cursed friends of Sabre! All they do is get in my way!" I yelled into the open area. I felt my anger course through my body. It burned, but it felt amazing at the same time.

I stood up after I let all my anger out. That took quite a while to do. I let out an annoyed sighed.

Quickly, I teleported out of the room. I flapped my demon wings a little bit, feeling the stiffness loosen. I can't go back to what I was before. No, I basically destroyed that part of me when I transformed the way I did.

My palace was silent. No whispers of employees, no humming of machines, or even the sound of footsteps. A huge palace... all to myself. Sabre killed all of my employees in his rage of trust issues, oh yes, I knew about that. Most machines were destroyed, or just didn't have a need to be on.

I stood for a while, not entirely knowing what to do. My plans to control Sabre always fail, me alone isn't enough to take them all on, so what do I do?

"Sounds like you're in need of help?" a voice said from behind me. I flinched and turned to face the source of the voice. I couldn't quite make out the silhouette in the darkness of the room.

"Who is there!" I exclaimed clenching my fists tightly. The silhouette chuckled.

"You don't need to know much," the unidentified person said. I growled lowly.

"I don't work with other lowlifes," I growled crossing my arms. He chuckled once again, which I didn't care for that much.

"Oh, Tyler. I know you don't like working with any other person, but I will actually help you get Sabre by your side. There's more than what meets the eye with him," he said as he repositioned himself. I couldn't help but smirk at the offer.

"Okay, then. Tell me what I need to do," I said evilly. I could see his grin from the darkness of the room before he laughed evilly. 'Soon... THEY WILL PAY!'
