《More Than You Realize》Chapter 17: There's More To Know

"HOW COULD YOU LET HIM ESCAPE, SLADE?!" Ty yelled slamming his sword in the ground. His eyes glowed an evil red. To say I wasn't terrified would be a lie. Actually, I was beyond terrified at this point. Ty's never gotten this mad before.
"I didn't mean to! His friends barged in and began attacking me. I couldn't get close to Sabre!" I yelled back. He growled.
"Excuses excuses! Stop with these pathetic excuses! I saved you from your past life when you were a child! I gave you the ability to continue. DON'T PLAY GAMES WITH ME, SLADE!" he yelled. I backed away from him. I can't deal with this right now.
"Look, Ty. I'm sorry. It won't happen again," I said holding my hands up in defense.
"You're right! It won't happen again. Otherwise, I'll make sure to stab my sword so deep in your chest, you'll beg for mercy when you're dead!" he exclaimed before walking out of the room. I was left in pure silence. I was still in shock over what he just did.
I let out a huge sigh of breath. If you get yelled at most the time, you learn to adapt to this behavior. I'm just getting sick of getting treated like crap. He claims to be my savior, but this is how I'm always treated.
"I'M GETTING SICK OF THIS BULL CRAP! I HATE BEING HERE!" I yelled kicking a few things in his office. Papers flew all over the place. Great, I'd probably have to clean that up later. Might as well get it over with.
The floor was completely covered in a variety of papers. It took so long just to clear a big enough section to stand on without standing on any papers. Can't dirty his precious papers.
"WHAT HAPPENED IN HERE!" Ty yelled walking into his office. I sighed.
"An accident. I was cleaning up my mess," I said refusing to face him. He jerked the papers out of my hands.
"Get out! You shouldn't have been left in here by yourself! There's stuff you have no privilege to see!" he yelled pointing to the door. I raised an eyebrow. I didn't want to argue with him. That's probably not the best thing to do when he's mad.
I walked silently along the empty hallway. It gave me a weird feeling. I really think I'm starting to lose my evil. Ty's changed recently, and it's obviously taken a toll on me. Is this how other people feel when the bad guys yell at them? Must be because that's how I feel.
Why did Ty kick me out like that? Is he hiding something? I shouldn't worry about it, but I'm so curious. 'Just ignore it, Slade. There's nothing you need to be doing... but I SO wanna know why!'
I opened the door to my room. For some reason, I didn't feel as happy in my black room that was filled with multiple targets from years ago. Everyone of the happy faces told me how much I took away from them.
That's it... I really can't take it anymore. I'm done with this little shindig. I'm leaving.
I tore down all of the pictures of people who's life I ruined. I didn't own anything besides the clothes on my body.

Everything else belonged to Ty, or so he says. Whatever, I don't have to bother myself with him anymore.
"What are you doing?" Ty asked while walking in. 'Why is all on me like this! I want my own privacy ya know!'
"Packing. I'm done with this little shindig. I've lost my evilness. I don't want to do this anymore!" I yelled before walking towards the door. He began to laugh.
"Don't think I haven't noticed that, but you can't leave, Slade," he said grabbing my shoulder. I tried to toss him off of me, but he didn't budge.
"Let go! I'm getting out of here!" I exclaimed. I felt something poke the back of my neck. It was really painful. "Wh-what are you d-doing?"
He just laughed. I saw black dots dance across my vision. I felt so weak. I felt myself collapse to the floor before I lost all consciousness.
"Galaxy Steve! Come on! I can feel it; we're getting closer!" I exclaimed happily running through some tall oak trees.
"Sabre... we've been running for hours. Can we not take a small break?" Galaxy Steve complained. I sighed.
"Fine, but we won't stay long," I said as I came to a stop. He grunted in relief before falling to the ground. I'm pretty sure he fell asleep. We haven't been running that long... maybe only 2 hours.
I rolled my eyes with a small smile and sat down under a nearby tree. Okay, maybe I need this little break.
I wonder if I can contact Rainbow Steve. I need to warn them soon. I have no clue what that evil me plans to do to them.
'...'
'...'
'...'
'Sabre? Why are you using telepathy? You're right next to us.'
'WHAT! A few things. One, that's weird man. Two, Galaxy Steve was telling the truth?'
'Wow. I have an apology to make. Three, DO YOU KNOW HOW FAR THAT TRAP IS FROM WHERE WE ARE!'
'Okay... you to, Sabre.'
I cut the connection off, then ran over to Galaxy Steve. I drug him out from where he laid, making him wake up.
"Sabre? What the-" I put a finger up to his mouth to shut him up. He raised an eyebrow, but didn't argue to stay quiet.
"Oh Sabre~ I know you're here~ There's no use in hiding. I'll find you soon enough," Slade exclaimed over top of the forest. Galaxy Steve and I ran under a tree. I'm growing tired of getting kidnapped every day. "Found ya~"
Slade was standing in front of us with a smirk on his face. This isn't good. I tried to get Galaxy Steve so we could run, but he went back to sleep! That son of a gun!
"Galaxy Steve! Get up, NOW!" I yelled while shaking him. He didn't budge.
"Looks like you all alone now. Even if Galaxy Steve is physically here, he can't help you," Slade said walking closer. I scooted up against the tree, and I even tried to go further back with the truck still standing there.
"Get away! I won't let you take me to Ty again!" I yelled throwing my hand out to him. He laughed and continued to get closer.

"I won't kidnap you again. I'm here for something else," he said kneeling down in front of me. I gulped down the fear the was caught in my throat. Actually, it was still there.
"Wh-what?" I asked. The sharp bark on the tree began to cut into my skin because I was pushed against the tree so hard.
He put his hand in front of me, making me very confused. I raised an eyebrow, but that didn't last long. I had no clue what was happening, but it was hurting like hell!
"AH!" I cried out once the pain was too painful. "Wh-what are y-you doing?!"
"Is it not obvious?" he asked moving his hand a little closer. It began to hurt even more.
"Huh... Sabre?" Galaxy Steve mumbled waking up. I couldn't respond with any words. He looked over to me, and his eyes shot open. "SABRE!"
He tried to get me away, but he was unable to. It was like there was a barrier blocking his way to me. His aura was going everywhere. He was worried, and scared. I think I went into panic after that. His aura just disappeared.
I squinted my eyes to see if it was still there, but I couldn't see it. Nothing happened to him, so he obviously isn't dead. ' Wait... "Is it not obvious?" There's no way... it can't be. HE'S DRAINING MY POWERS FROM ME!'
The moment I realized what was going on, I could feel the multiple powers slip away from me. This can't be happening.
After a minute of Galaxy Steve trying to get to me, and Slade draining my powers, Slade out his hand down. The pain stopped after that.
My head bounced back against the tree. I felt so weak, so helpless. I ended up falling over and onto Galaxy Steve.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Galaxy Steve yelled. That gave me a massive headache.
"Well, since you really want to know, I drained every ounce of his powers from him. He can't control fire, air, water or anything along the lines," Slade exclaimed proudly.
Galaxy Steve stood up with me. He draped my left arm over his shoulders and supported me by my waist.
Slade laughed evilly before he disappeared into thin air.
I can't do this. I'm too weak. I can't even talk. I... I... want sleep.
I felt Sabre go limp as I held onto him. I could tell he was super weak. Now, we have more problems. One, we still have Evil Sabre to deal with. Two, Sabre has no powers, which means he can't sense where Rainbow Steve and the others are. I have no clue how to get back either.
"This can't be happening. I was so stupid to make Sabre stop in the middle of nowhere. We could've been closer to the others, but I have no clue where to go from here.
"Maybe if I continue straight, I'll get there eventually," I sighed while walking forward. Sabre's not that heavy, so that's good. He didn't move at all. He was really out, and I still have no clue where I'm going.
"Sabre" put the finishing touches on the machine to help us know if we are attacked by Slade or Ty. I smirked victoriously and turned to the rest of us.
"AWESOME!" Mary exclaimed happily. "Sabre" jumped down, so he could admire his handy work.
"Yep!" "Sabre" said popping the 'p' at the end. "It's all good to go!"
"Great! Hey-uh-Void Steve? Could I talk to you for a minute... alone?" I asked.
he said questionably. We walked a long ways away from the others. I stopped and faced him once we were far enough.
"Galaxy Steve wasn't lying. That's not the Sabre we know," I said immediately. Void Steve raised an eyebrow.
he asked. I sighed and began explaining the whole thing.
"Sabre used his telepathy just a minute ago to contact me. "Sabre" was standing next to me, so I wondered why he was using the telepathy. He explained how some sort of darkness implanted by Ty took control of him. The evil Sabre locked Sabre away in the mind, and once Galaxy Steve knew too much, evil Sabre locked him away as well. They're out there somewhere, and try to get back as we speak," I said. He just stared, but he did blink every once in a while.
Void Steve said while tilting his head to the side. I sighed and facepalmed.
"Why would I lie about this? My best friend is lost somewhere in the world, and I'm not serious? Really, Void Steve?" I said angrily. He flinched a little.
he said scuffing his shoe against the dirt. I sighed.
"I understand the confusion... but we have to help the real Sabre. Before Sabre cut us off, he said Slade was coming for him. I hope nothing bad happens," I said pressing my fingers against my forehead.
"Uh... that might be a problem," a voice said. We both snapped our head towards the voice, and I almost fainted.
The voice was Galaxy Steve. He looked exhausted, yet relived at the same time. Sabre was hanging limp around his shoulders. Sabre looked like he went through a tornado.
"GALAXY STEVE! SABRE!" I yelled running over to them. The minute I did, Galaxy Steve's body gave out in him. He fell forward. Void Steve grabbed Sabre before he hit the ground, and I helped Galaxy Steve get leaned up against a nearby tree. "What happened to you two!"
"Slade happened. I don't know how weak Sabre will be when he wakes up... but we have a major problem," Galaxy Steve said before choking out some breath.
"What? WHAT IS IT?!" I demanded while shaking him. He groaned in pain, so I stopped shaking him.
"Slade took every bit of power Sabre had. He can't do anything besides what a normal person would do," Galaxy Steve said. I felt the world stop around me. Time seemed nonexistent at the moment.
Galaxy Steve began saying something else, but his voice was miles away from me. Everything began to go black, and I felt myself getting tired. My eyes closed themselves, and I was out before my body even hit the ground.
