《More Than You Realize》Chapter 5: The Capture

"Wait... so I can literally just think of where I want the lighting to strike, and it happens?" I asked not fully believing Void Steve, even though he's been right about everything so far. He sighed.
he said. I just nodded, and did as he said. Void Steve was not someone to make mad because you defied him.
I closed my eyes to help me concentrate better. I thought about the lighting landing just a few blocks in front of me, and far enough for safety.
I was about to give up when nothing happened, but I decided to give it one last try. So I thought about it... thought about it... thought about it... BAM!
My eyes shot open, and I jumped back in fear. I didn't actually think it would happen. I looked back to Void Steve, making sure it wasn't him.
He nodded and told me good job. I actually did that! I mean, Void Steve has really helped me out when it came to my powers. Now, I can run extremely fast, fly without wings or rockets, summon blocks by will, and many other things that Steve's could do.
Void Steve said as he began to walk back.
I began to follow him, but something grabbed me from behind. A hand covered my mouth, and the other arm snakes around my waist area.
I began to struggle, hoping to get free, but to no avail.
I thought about making lightning strike just a little in front of Void Steve; just enough to get his attention. I did just that.
He turned back to me, so he could yell about almost hitting him. He froze and his mad expression soften as he saw why I did that.
he growled. So that's who had me. SLADE! OH NO; NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! My struggling got harder; trying so hard to break free, but he was too strong.
"Void Steve. So great to see you again, but I must be off. I have big plans, as you know," Slade said putting a tighter grip on me. I winced in pain. No doubt I would have bruises around my waist soon.
Suddenly, a lot of lightning surrounded Slade and me. I looked at Void Steve with pleading eyes, hoping he would do something if he could. I knew there was nothing he could do, though.
The next thing I knew, I was in a cell; Slade still not letting go. We stayed the way we were for a moment, before he finally let me go.
I took in a deep breath of air. It was much needed. I felt so weak, so I collapsed to the floor and on my knees.
"Hello, Sabre," Slade said with a smirk. I didn't respond, because I was too scared to answer him. I didn't want to answer him. "You better answer, Sabre. I'm not a person you want to make mad."

"Leave me alone," I said not looking at him. I heard him laugh. I felt his hand pull my hood down on my chicken onesie, then grab a handful of hair.
He pulled on it, making my head go back, and some of body lifted off the ground. I clenched my eyes shut. It felt like he had just ripped out a huge chunk of hair.
"S-stop!" I winced. I didn't struggle, because I knew it would only hurt worse. He laughed, but didn't let go.
"Why would I do that? You are a big part of my plan. In fact, you can go ahead and say goodbye to your friends. I can't wait any longer to put my plan into motion. Be good, and don't struggle," he said into my ear.
I didn't know what he was talking about, but I soon figured out.
It was extremely painful. A cold needle was pushed into the side of my head. I couldn't help but cry out in pain as he pushed it deeper into my head.
Whatever was in the needle was pushed into my head, making it even more painful. I felt the liquid get injected, and it felt like something was squeezing my head together.
I could tell Slade was talking, but I didn't really know what he said. It was all mumbled together, and it sounded like he was far off in the distance. The next thing I knew, I was facing the black abyss of sleep.
"Okay, and... DONE!" I exclaimed happily as I placed the last block on our new house for the meantime. Galaxy Steve finished his section at the same time... then grabbed some dirt to build his own place.
"I'm building my own place!" he exclaimed happily. He began placing some dirt in a small "house" right next to the one we just finished.
"NO! SABRE SAID FOR ME TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T BUILD A DIRT HOUSE!" I yelled breaking his dirt blocks. He groaned a little.
"Rainbow Steve! Why would you do that!" he whined. I crossed my arms and sighed in annoyance.
"Galaxy Steve... we've been sugarcoating this way too long. Look... dirt houses are for noobs, and they are not great, AT ALL! They look bad, and, I'm sorry to say, every time you build a dirt house, you can't even fit a bed in it!" I explained. He just stared for the longest time; he didn't even blink. I was almost positive his eyes would dry out, but he finally blinked.
"THEN WHY HAVE YOU BEEN LETTING ME BUILD HORRIBLE HOUSES! YOU COULD'VE BEEN HONEST!" he yelled, waving his galaxy like arms around. I was about to answer, but wasn't given the chance.
I heard Void Steve yell frantically. We looked over, and saw him flying at us. He sounded worried.
"What's up?" I asked, trying to be as nice as possible. He landed right in front of us, and began panting.

Void Steve exclaimed looking at us with some concern in his red eyes.
For me, time stopped. He continued to yell about something, but I couldn't hear what. Everything was just a muffle.
"R...nb...w S...ve! Ra...n...ow Ste...! RAINBOW STEVE!" Galaxy Steve yelled. I snapped out of... whatever I was in.
"Huh... wh-what?" I stuttered, still letting the new sink in. Galaxy and Void Steve looked at me like I just said the most dumbest thing ever.
"D-dude... you almost, like... lost it," Galaxy Steve said putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked at his hand, then back to the both of them.
Void Steve asked. Man, it's hard hearing him not sound so evil and manipulative. I nodded.
"Y-yeah. It was just l-like... time froze when you s-said that. I'm worried for Sabre. He's my best friend, and I can't imagine anything happening to him," I said, stuttering every now and then.
"I know... I'm worried for Sabre as well. At the same time, we aren't helping him at all by standing here and thinking about how worried we are. We need to devise a plan. Void Steve; do you remember where Slade's base is?" Galaxy Steve said. He went into serious mode.
Void Steve said nodding his head up and down to when he talked.
"Great. Rainbow Steve; can you use your powers?" Galaxy Steve asked turning to me. I nodded and smiled a little. He smiled back and nodded himself.
Void Steve said somewhat slowly. If Galaxy Steve was thinking whatever Void Steve was thinking, I'm not too sure he was liking it.
"My plan? We go to Slade's base, raid it, find Sabre, and get out," Galaxy Steve said confidently. Void Steve stared at Galaxy Steve in the way you would give someone who just had a dumb idea.
Void Steve explained. My face fell in despair. That's not really what you want to hear when rescuing a friend.
"So? I'm up for the challenge. Anything for Sabre," Galaxy Steve said. My face lit up once again. I smirked, and pumped my fist.
"YEAH! ANYTHING FOR SABRE!" I exclaimed happily. Galaxy Steve smiled, and laughed at my reaction. Void Steve shook his head, but didn't object to us going to save Sabre.
Void Steve mumbled.
Galaxy Steve and I nodded, then walked over next to Void Steve. He asked if we were ready. We both nodded.
A bright light covered my vision. It faded as quick s it came. My eyes went wide at the huge building we were in front of.
It was a castle. A huge, black, open gap sat in the middle of the wall, forming a door. A tall tower with a huge window sat right above the door. On both sides were two smaller towers. The building itself gave off a bad vibe.
"Th-th-this is i-i-i-it?" I stuttered stepping back a little. I didn't really want to admit I was scared... because I wasn't. I was terrified.
Void Steve said.
"Alright... let's go and save Sabre," Galaxy Steve said as he began to walk forward. Void Steve followed behind him.
I let out a huge sigh, and began to follow them as well.
Beep... beep... beep... beep
The beeping was annoying, but it was necessary to monitor Sabre's health.
Currently, Sabre was inside a huge machine; filled with a green liquid. Sabre wasn't drowning because it was a special type of liquid that allowed him to breath while submerged. The beeping was a monitor keeping track of Sabre's heart beat.
Many cords ran into the top and bottom of the machine.
Sabre's chicken onesie was off, and has changed to his original green jacket and black pants. How that happened, no one knew.
Slade just stared at one monitor that was connected to the machine Sabre was in. It showed a fire symbol, and at that moment, the area around Sabre's body bursted into flames.
Slade didn't seem shocked. He actually smirked. Then the monitor showed a lightning bolt. Sabre's body began to spark.
"These results are better than I thought. Go ahead, and apply the substance. I feel as if his so-called friends are here," Slade said as he walked away from Sabre.
A worker nodded, and pressed a button. Sabre's body tensed as a red liquid was shot through the machine. It sunk into Sabre's body.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sabre yelled. He began to squirm as the liquid settled into his body. He continued to yell as Slade left the room.
"I know you can hear your friend's scream. COME AND GET HIM!" Slade said evilly.
He grabbed a sword from a rack in the hallway, and swung it around a few times. He began to walk down the hallway to find Galaxy, Rainbow, and Void Steve.
The screaming finally calmed down. The machine was opened, and Sabre jumped out. Sparks, flames, and different bits of elemental powers flew around Sabre's body.
He, slowly, opened his eyes. Both were a bright, yet evil, red. An evil smirked formed on his face. Slade's workers stared at Sabre, which he didn't take kindly of.
"What are you staring at?" Sabre asked evilly. His smirked died down. The workers didn't say anything, just continued to stare. "DON'T STARE AT ME!"
Flames bursted out of Sabre's body, and towards Slade's workers. Their screams filled the room. The fire, finally calmed down. The only thing left in the room, was Sabre, and a bunch of ashes.
Sabre's lips curled upwards. His evil smirked could be seen through the smoke that filled the room. To top everything off, he let out a maniacal laughter. This wasn't Sabre...
