《Jenlisa - When You Realize You Love Her (COMPLETED)》Twenty Four

"You sure eat a lot." Jisoo asked when she watched the younger girl who sat across her eating like there was no tomorrow.
"I love...food." She simply answered which was followed by Jisoo's soft laugh.
Jisoo closely watched Rosie munching her food. It seemed like the girl forgot to breath and just kept putting food into her mouth. Jisoo chuckled lightly realizing how cute Rosie when she ate her food. Rosie stopped as she noticed how Jisoo kept watching her.
"Don't you want to finish your food??" Rosie asked which startled Jisoo. She then cleared her throat and looked at her food.
"Ye-yeah of course." Jisoo answered as she began to eat her salad.
Rosie just smiled, "Fufu.. If you don't want it, you can give it to me."
Jisoo looked up, "Yeah sure. You want it?"
Rosie chuckled, "What? You know I was just kidding. You haven't even touched it since we sat down."
"I am willing to give it to you if you ask me."
"Haha cute..." She said then continued eating. Jisoo realized what she had been doing and she didn't even know why she became this soft towards Rosie. She just felt sorry towards her because of how Jennie had been treating her. After she got closer to her, she definitely thought that Rosie deserved so much better than this. She couldn't even imagine Rosie being hurt or heart broken. She was willing to do anything just to keep the smile on her face.
"Jisoo," suddenly Rosie called which pulled Jisoo back to reality from her deep thoughts. "Who do you think win in a battle: Captain Marvel or Wonder Woman?"
Jisoo just chuckled at how random Rosie was, "Well... both are very strong women. Captain Marvel got superpower while Wonder Woman is literally a God. Why should they fight in the first place? They can be that powerful couple." Jisoo smiled proudly.
"Owh! I agree!" Rosie gave Jisoo a thumb up, "You know I've been seeing this arguments over internet where these fanboys fighting over who's gonna win in a battle between Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman. Why they keep pinning women to each other while they can be that powerful and unbeatable couple?!" Rosie said excitedly. Jisoo just laughed.

"Sorry for being so random." Rosie said.
"You kidding? Please don't be! You know I can talk about anything with you. You're so comfortable to be with."
Rosie looked at her as she smiled widely, "Thank you, Jisoo."
Rosie didn't know that she needed Jisoo's company today after the tension she had with Jennie. Jisoo was pretty funny. Rosie also liked her presence.
After lunch, Jisoo and Rosie walked together while at times laughing at each other's random jokes. Jisoo was the one who mostly threw a joke and made Rosie laughed. Jisoo liked making the girl laughing and seeing that smile which made her heart warmer. They decided to go back to the council office as they brought Jennie lunch.
They stepped into the room and found Jennie on the table with the same position as when they left her.
"Hi, Jennie. Here I brought you lunch." Jisoo approached Jennie's table and put her lunch on it. Jennie looked up to Jisoo and then smiled. Jisoo almost frowned to see Jennie's face; she looked really exhausted. More exhausted than before. Jisoo saw Jennie's eyes landed on the girl who was standing behind her. Jennie stood up from her seat and walked closer to the girl.
"Rosie..." Jennie started the conversation. Rosie smiled. "I am really sorry...for what I did earlier. I've been stressed out but I put it out on you. I am really sorry."
"It's okay, Jen."
"I promise I won't do that again. I won't make you sad again." Jennie smiled and went to hug the younger girl. Rosie welcomed Jennie with a big hug too. Jisoo quickly averted her eyes to other direction and she felt something pinched her chest.
Rosie and Jennie were kind of back to how they were used to be and Jisoo had been observing them. She had this doubt feeling within herself because whenever Jennie with Rosie, she always laughed and smiled on the outside, but her eyes told differently. They seemed hurt and lonely. Jisoo knew her best friend so well and knew that Jennie couldn't even hide her true emotion.

It had been days since Jennie's confession to Lisa and whenever there was council work, they were in the same room working with others however they never met with each other's eyes. More like they tried their best to avoid each other.
This didn't go unnoticed by Jisoo.
Seulgi and Irene were talking intensely about where to go after they graduated, obviously they would go to the same university. They were inseparable, indeed. At the corner she could see Hanbin, Chanwoo and with the others worked on some administration papers, while Lisa and Donghyuk were still seen together which made Jisoo more confused since they became closer than ever. She remembered Lisa said she wanted to move on but with Donghyuk? Really?? She then glanced at Jennie and Rosie who acted like the softest girlfriends who didn't want to leave each other's side. Were they dating?? Jisoo hadn't heard anything about that yet. She was curious of what's on Jennie's mind at the moment and she was more worried about Rosie to be honest. But seeing how much Rosie had been smiling lately, at least it had put her heart at ease, for now.
All the student councils had left except Jisoo and Jennie. After Jennie cleared up the table, she sat down on the sofa, leaned on as she rested her head and she closed her eyes. Jisoo watched Jennie taking a deep breath.
"Jennie..." Jisoo approached her and Jennie just hummed, her eyes were still closed.
"I want to ask something but promise me you won't get mad." Jisoo asked.
"I won't." She answered simply.
"Are you okay?"
Jennie opened her eyes and looked at Jisoo, "I am okay. Why?"
"I'm your best friend. I've been with you the longest and I know you. You are clearly not okay."
Jennie just smirked, "Is that so?"
"Yeah. You stormed out the office angrily when I told you the kiss between Donghyuk and Lisa were forced by Donghyuk. You became very sensitive and moody since then even you yelled at Rosie for apparently no reason? And when we got back from lunch you were suddenly okay and being nice to her which I didn't complaint but what makes me worried is that you don't seem happy at all despite you laugh a lot but your eyes tell otherwise. What happened? You know you can tell me anything." Jisoo asked. She sounded a bit aggressive but she just worried with her best friend. It scared her a little bit.
Jennie closed her eyes again and took a deep breathe. She remained silent for a few minutes. Jisoo watched her friend and hoped to hear a story. She just wanted to help if Jennie needed one.
But to her surprise, she heard Jennie sniffled in silent as she wiped her tears away.
"Jennie?" Jisoo called and she heard Jennie chuckled lightly as she opened her eyes.
"Sorry I got carried away."
"Hey... you have me. You can tell me anything." Jisoo walked closer and she sat next to her. Jisoo put her hand on Jennie's shoulder making sure she could comfort the girl.
There was a silent between the two for a good minute until Jennie began to speak, "You know I confessed to Lisa days ago." Jisoo had been waiting for Jennie to be honest with her feelings towards Lisa. She knew Jennie just needed time and she was sure that Lisa would have accepted her but seeing how things were lately, she didn't know how to react.
"And then?" Jisoo asked carefully.
Jennie smiled weakly as she looked at Jisoo, "She said she couldn't accept my feeling."
Jisoo was surprised to hear that. She guessed that Lisa might have moved on but she never expected she would move on this fast.
"Ughh...." Jennie groaned as she buried her face on her palms, "...it still hurts." Jisoo heard Jennie's sob. It was her first time seeing her best friend crying because of someone. Jisoo embraced Jennie and tried to calm the girl.
She never thought the whole situation would be this complicated.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option.
