Aashi got up with the loud sound of the alarm.
'Shut the damn thing off.' Suchitra groaned from beside her. She picked up a pillow and pressed it against her ear. Aashi switched off the alarm, she turned to look at her friend, - 'Get up, Log, we have to go to the hospital and bring Rishabh here.' Aashi said excitedly
'Two minutes.' Suchitra said, her voice muffled from behind the pillow. Aashi pressed her lips tightly and grabbed the pillow removing it from Suchitra's face.
'Arghh....'
'Come on, get up.' Aashi slapped Suchitra's butt to wake her up.
'Hey.' Suchitra said massaging her backside. Aashi slid down the bed and pulled the duvet off her friend.
Suchitra raised her arm in the air, - 'I am up, I am up.' She said and Aashi smirked victoriously.
They quickly showered and dressed up, - 'Aashi?' Suchitra said as the two settled for breakfast.
'We have only one bathroom, we will have to share with Rishabh.' She thought out loud.
This made Aashi think but she shook the thought saying, - 'We will think about it later, first we have to get him here.' She said taking a sip of orange juice.
Before leaving Aashi adjusted her cold shoulder brown jumpsuit and her hair, Suchitra had to hold her hand and drag her out. Suchitra drove them to hospital.

'Easy, Easy...' Aashi watched the nurse help Rishabh stand. Thankfully his legs aren't fractured but they are weak and, so he needs hand clutch to help him stand and walk.
Once Rishabh was on his feet he smiled at Aashi and she smiled back.
'Good to see you stand on your feet.' Suchitra said
'Thanks.' Rishabh said, he looked at her and then back at Aashi.

'I will feel like a driver.' Suchitra whined after Aashi had said she and Rishabh will be sitting in the back seat. Aashi sighed and Suchitra muttered a sorry.
'I wish Himanshu was here.' She said opening the back seat of the car.
'You called for me, and here I am.' All three turned around and hearing a voice. Himanshu stood smiling brightly at them.
'Didn't you go to work?' Aashi asked amused.
'I thought to check on my friends, first.' He said. Aashi smiled gratefully at him. Suchitra was relieved that there will be someone sitting beside her.
Himanshu and Aashi helped Rishabh sit in the back seat.
'Why are you taking stress, let me drive.' Himanshu said politely. Aashi watched with a smirk as Suchitra blushed nodding her head.
Throughout the car journey, Aashi kept asking Rishabh if he was okay and if he was comfortable. Suchitra kept looking at them through the rear-view mirror and kept smiling. When she caught Himanshu's gaze she fixed her expressions.

Once they reached home, Aashi got down first and hurried to get Rishabh's door. Himanshu also rushed to the side, the two helped Rishabh come out.
'Man, lose some weight.' Himanshu joked, Rishabh gave a small laugh while Aashi glared at Himanshu who quickly fixed his expressions.
Suchitra unlocked the main door, Aashi held Rishabh's hand gently led him inside. Though Rishabh could manage he didn't interrupt Aashi. He let her help him to the room. He looked around, Aashi looked at him. From his expressions, he looked surprised in a good way.
'Liked it?' She asked him brightly. Rishabh turned his head and nodded. Aashi made him sit on the bed, adjusted the sling of his injured hand, - 'Good my left hand is gone, else it would have been very tough.' He said with a smile. Aashi smiled too sitting beside him.

'If you need anything, call me okay. I am in the next room.' She said, and he nodded.
Then Aashi got him water.
'Thanks.' He said
'Is there is something going on between them?' Himanshu asked Suchitra as they stood by the door. Suchitra looked at him and smiled, - 'You see it too?' She asked
'Huh?' Himanshu asked.
Suchitra sighed and muttered, - ' The whole world knows except these two.'
Himanshu looked back at them and found Aashi laughing at something Rishabh. This way she had never laughed with him. Himanshu smiled sadly.
'I, Rishabh and Aashi were in the same college.' – Suchitra spoke looking at them, Himanshu looked at her and she looked back, - 'In fact, Aashi and Rishabh were childhood friends.' She said sadly. Himanshu blinked at her. This was a shock to him.
********************************
Everyone left Rishabh alone for the rest of the day. Suchitra and Himanshu left for work. Aashi first checked if all Rishabh's medicines were there, then read some novel, did some office work and by night she decided to check on Rishabh.
'Rishabh?' She called placing her palm on the door.
'Yes, come in.' He called.
She entered and found Rishabh sitting on the bed reading a book he held in his free hand. He looked up from the book and smiled at her. She smiled and sat on a small stool beside him.
'I-' she felt little nervous, his smile did assure her but she knew the smile will vanish with what she was to say.
'Aashi.' He said warmly.
She looked at him and nodded, - 'Rishabh, since you will be staying here for a while.... I wanted to get your stuff from your place. So, can you give me the address and key so-' She stopped speaking when she noticed his smile fade, just like she had guessed. He looked away. Aashi extended her hand and placed her hand over his, - 'Rishabh please.' She said softly. She looked at him closely. Rishabh thought for a while before giving a small nod. He pointed towards his pant pocket on the left, Aashi nodded and quickly took out his house keys.
'And the address?' she asked him. Rishabh turned his head and looked at her.
